Northpaw caught up to Dragonheart. She was so excited that she was going to start her apprentice training that she quivered slightly as she waited for Dragonheart to speak.

Northpaw opened her mouth to drink in the scents. "Um, ThunderClan cats, stale I think." There was another scent on the wind, but it was fading and Northpaw couldn't place it, so she didn't say anything.

Northpaw turned to Streampaw and whispered, "Your not." Turning back to Dragonheart she added. "Well, there is something........ But...." I don't know what it is! She thought nervously.

Nightfur trotted along the other side of the river. She was patrolling by herself; her sister, Cloudpaw, was training with Sprinklestorm, and the other warriors were busy hunting. The black warrior opened her mouth to scent, and fresh RiverClan scent came wafting in. Right afterwards she saw 3 cats-one a silver tabby, the other___, and another, larger ___. Obviously 2 were apprentices, and the larger tom was their mentor. Going closer to the river, she hid in the reeds, watching them. OOC: What do Streampaw and Dragonherat look like? I only know Northpaw.  |

Northpaw scented the air again, This time the ThunderClan scent was fresh. "Dragonheart..... I think there's a ThunderClan cat over there." She wispered to her mentor and flicked her ears towards the source of the smell.

Northpaw's fur began to prickle. She tried to listen for the other cat, to pinpoint it, but the ThunderClan cat was to quite, accept, "Dragonheart do the reeds seem to be rustling to you, right near that one that's at an odd angel?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

Nightfur hissed quietly. That apprentice was a good tracker. What was her name, Northpaw, did the orange one call her? Maybe...the black cat noticed her tail flicking around, and immediately stopped it before stepping out of her cover. Her coat shone sleek and clean in the sunlight as she went up to the bank, as far as the border would allow. Nightfur smiled, calling out, " You've got a nice apprentice there, warrior! Mind tellin' me your name, young 'un?"

Northpaw did not know what to make of the ThunderClan warrior. The black cat didn't seem aggressive to her, but she kept quiet all the same, and tried to stand a bit taller.

Streampaw hissed and jumped infront of her friend "Mind your own bees wax mouse brain.She hissed.She had come into contaced with Thunderclan before.She had tryed to stop him from hunting but ended up breaking her leg.She would of died if it wasn't for her second couisin (Sp?)."Why are you here Thunderclan/rouge skumb!?!" |

Northpaw stood beside her friend and stared at the ThunderClan cat. Dragonheart's right, she thought, she's not in our territory, just really, really, close. "I'm Northpaw." she said calmly. To Streampaw she added, "Simmer(sp?) down, if she crosse the border then we can attack her, but Nightfur doesn't seem to be looking for trouble."

Northpaw's fur began to lie flat again. She was sure the two ThunderClan cats where peaceful now. Northpaw looked towards Streampaw, she thought her friend might be calming down to but she wasn't sure.

Northpaw flicked her tail in agreement. I don't know if I trust them either, but they may be thinking the exact same thing, she thought hopefuly, I don't want to fight them.
