Frostwhisker padded along the Thunderclan border, looking for any sign of Dragonclaw. She wanted to meet him again so badly; ever since she had rescued him when he nearly drowned in the river, she couldn't keep away from him. A tugging pulled at her heartstrings, she didn't want to break the warrior code, and go against everything she had been loyal to, but she couldn't bear to live without Dragon. She sat down, kneading her paws anxiously in the soft ground.

Dragonclaw, a little ways downwind, padded to her quickly. He crossed the border without a second thought, his eyes transfixed on her silver eyes. "Frostwhisker..." he murmured, his head nuzzling hers. He wished they could be together, for how ever long they could, just to get away from the Warrior code...

Ivorypaw, being Dragonclaws apprentice had decided to track him from the camp without him knowing it. As his scent became fresher, and he came into veiw, Ivorypaw's eyes grew wide with horror. Her white coat started to bristle in anger. So the dirty traitor had given up her mother for a piece of Riverclan scum? Well, if that's the way he wanted to play it, he would report straight to Brownstar. "Tratior..." Ivorypaw muttered to herself as she bounded soundlessly back toward the camp. First she would find Ebonypaw, tell him, and then go to Brownstar. But how long had the two cats been meeting? How long before Dragonclaw had told her about him and Whitethroat. She would soon find out...

Frostwhisker lifted her head, allowing her jaws to part and drink in the scent. The winds had shifted, blowing Ivorypaws scent to her. She didn't recognize the smell, onyl knew it was from a she-cat. It was similiar to the scent she had detected on dragonclaw. Suspicion clutched at her heart, but she shook it away. How can I learn to love if I continue to shut my heart off? She looked away, trying to hide her shame. He's a great cat, if only I could be a great mate... if I could learn to trust again...

Worry crossed Dragonclaw's eyes, he had scented something very familiar. It smelled almost like... My apprentice!!! Dragonclaw gasped, then darted into the woods. He shot a worried glance at Frostwhisker. "Something's come up, it could mean trouble, I must leave, NOW..." With that he darted away, trying to track Ivorypaw.

Cukrious, she ignored the border nad hustled after him, her curiousity driving her forward. Every instinct in her body screamed for her to run, Starclan knows hwat would happen to her if she was caught on Thunderclan territory. Losing sight of him, she sped up a little, then stopped and stared out in dismay as he headed into the camp. Summertime rain was begging to fall, and a sickening feeling clenched in her throat. Where am I? She questioned, feeling as helpless as a young kit. She knew her territory better than any cat in the forest, but when it came to TC territory, it was like a whole other world. Ravens and crows squawked overhead, and thunder began to shake the ground. Through the blinding rain, Frostwhisker managed to find shelter in a rotting log. It faced the opposite side of the camp entrance, and smelled heavily of Fox. It will have to do, for now... Her fur fluffed up against the wind, and she wiated for the storm to clear from the ominous sky above.

hm, I would move this board to the TC forest, but I don't know how..
Dragonclaw stormed away from the TC training area, his eyes blazing with fury. How dare that mouse-brain fox-dung cat talk to me like that! A familiar scent filled his head as he approached the camp. "Frost, are you there?" He questioned, unsure if he really scented her in the downpour. The scent came strongest from a rotting log a little ways off, and he decided to check it out.

A new scent blew to Frostwhisker, a warm, inviting tom was approaching her. "Dragon? Is that you?" She murmured, keeping her voice as quiet as possible, in case it wasn't really Dragonclaw. She rolled in the log, hoping to disguise her scent, then bounded out, turning to face her visitor. It was indeed Dragonclaw as she'd hoped. Running up to him, she buried her muzzle in his fur, mewing pitifully like a young cat. "How can we go on Dragon? How can we still be together when so much is pressing down on us? I can't live with the thought of being found out! I don't want to be banished from Riverclan!!" The clouds overhead released more rain, the forest becoming a living downpour.

ooc: Drats! you were just logged in and when I logged in you weren't there anymores. grrrr...
A deep purr erupted from from Dragonclaw's throat, and his fur fluffed up against the rain. "Come on, we need to get you out of the rain." Pushing her forward, he nudged her towards the open side of the log. Sitting down and yawning widely, sleep tried to take him. He attempted to shake it off, but his eyes remained half-closed. "After the storm I will take you back to the border, then we can meet in a couple of sun-downs after that. If I don't return, I might have run into trouble with Ivorypaw, don't fret. If I yowl, just take cover in nearby brambles. We'll try to meet near fourtrees, or the Stepping stones." He rested his head on his paws, his eyes closing as sleep claimed it's victim(sp?).

Frostwhisker nodded, then saw he was asleep. "Maybe it will be sooner.." Through all of the day's events, oddly, Frostwhisker wasn't tired. Her body was relaxed yet tense, ready to pounce on the mouse-brained she-cat apprentice should she come along. "Dragonclaw," she mewed, prodding him in the side with a sheathed paw. "Dragonclaw, I think we should leave. I don't want Ivorypaw to find us." Hoping he would wake up, Frostwhisker peered out of the log, hoping no cat noticed them.

His eyes snapped pen, he forgot he'd fallen asleep. He screeched, terrified he wasn't under the mossy canopy of the Warriors den. Twisting around, he saw Frostwhisker and sighed his relief. "I agree. Starclan knows how I could ever explain to brownstar why a Riverclan she-cat is on our territory." Shaking his fur, he padded reluctantly out of the make-shift den, his mate following him. He lead the way back to the Riverclan border, his tail swaying behind him. A vole tempted him as it scuttled away slowly, but he ignored it, knowing he'd only be getting himself into more trouble if he fed the himself before the clan. The river was now in sight, and he stopped, letting Frostwhisker cross the river. "Well meet soon, in a day or too, around sun-high, near those rocks." He mewed, indicating the rocks just offshore with his tail. "Good-bye, Frostwhisker, good-bye." He bounded away, giving her an affectionate flick of the tail before he left.

Frostwhisker watched him go, then padded to the river's bank. Chilled waters soaked her fur as her paws propelled her to the other side. I'd stand in the cold of leaf-bare every night for you, Dragonclaw. She reached the other side, heavily exhausted. Her fur dried slowly as she stumbled back to camp, the cold of the water was the only thing that kept her awake.
ooc: and now...I guess we return to our camps...
