Redpelt had a thorn in his side. Sure, he had had lots of injuries before, but this one, he had neglected. It had become infected and now, hurt like only StarClan knew. He walked into the Medicine Cat's Den, walking gingerly, as the thorn was right above his front right leg. Redpelt looked around, not seeing anyone, and softly called out, "Hello? Is anyone here?"

"Yeeeeeeees?" Lilyfeather mewed from the back of the den. Shadows conceled her from the view of the outside. "What is it?" She asked, not looking up from whatever it was she was working on.

"Ah, Redpelt. Hold on a minute, I'm coming." The medicine cat lifted herself up to her feet and trotted over to the tom. She had a cheerful smile on her face, as on most days. "Now, this thorn..." She said, leaning over to examine the thorn. "When did you obtain this thorn?"
