Melodybrook sat at the warriors den. On the mossy ground, lay a fish, her dinner. She took small bites for the fish was scrawny. Melody's favorite food was probaly, fish. None of the fish were very big, but the one she grabbed was the only trout, witch was her favorite. The den was abondoned, as in she was the only one in it. She wished somebody would come in to talk to her.

[glow=red,2,300]Doodlepelt padded into the Warrior's den and saw Melodybrook, he had always thought she was a good-looking cat, but sitting there with the dapped light on her creamy pelt, she looked beautiful. He saw she had a trout, which was his favourite fish. "Can I share that trout with you?" He asked, smiling at Melodybrook.
((Can cats smile??))[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Snowpelt trotted in after Doodlepelt and slumped into his bed near the back wall. His tail flicked thoughtfully every now and then, but otherwise, he didn't move. All he needed to do right now was think.
Since Stormstar had died, he had only thought of who would be made deputy. Dragonheart had beat him out for the position (though he couldn't blame him now, since he was more a senior warrior then Snowpelt would ever be), but now Stormstar was gone. The position was open.
He wasn't getting his hopes up too high; there were many more warriors more fit for the position then he was. But there was that slim, slim chance that he just might make the cut this time.
Everything would happen after that trip to the Moonstone--Lightpaw would become a warrior, his kits apprentices, surely, and his new friend, Tearkit, an apprentice, too, and that one desicive moment. Who would be deputy?
Another question was on his mind--who would go to the Moonstone with Dragonheart? Would he go by himself? Most likely not--going through WindClan territory, when they, too, had lost a leader and were under new leadership, would be stupid. But no Clan would deny a deputy-becoming-leader passage. Was Snowpelt worrying over nothing?
His stomach growled, but he ignored it. He wasn't on the mood for food.[/glow]

Kingdomstreak walked slowly to the group, he has his ears split in a shy kind of way. He didn't know how to approach a group of cats, let alone talking to one.

Melodybrook jumped as more cats joined Doodlepelt and her in the den. She was so lost in his depp-green eyes to notice until now. She looked over, and meowed a simple greeting, "Hello, Kingdomstreak, hello, Snowpelt." Her green eyes looked from Kingdomstreak to Snowpelt, curiously.
