Laying in the darkest corner of the den a young she- cat slept. Blue gray fur rising and falling as the winter snow, softly. Then Yellow eyes flickered open and a toothy yawn was shown. Splashheart, sat up and looked around, alone again.

Dapplepaw had been wandering around, exploring Riverclan camp. She was new here, and she didn't know too many other cats. She poked her head through the warriors den, wondering if anyone was inside. It was dark inside, but she thought she could see the faint outline of a cat in a dark corner.

Dapplepaw pricked her ears as she heard the other cat quietly say hi. She cautiously walked over, sensing her way through the darkness. "Hello, I'm Dapplepaw," she said introducing herself. "You're Splashheart right?" she asked inquisitively.

Splashheart smiled, Nice to meet you Dapplepaw, and yes it's Splashheart She slowly sat up and curled her bluish tail around her. Her light eyes watched the apprentice as she walked over. Who's your mentor? she asked quietly.

Feahtertail walked into the apprentice den and looked around, her paws ached from being trained for so long. "Hello" she meowed quiety as she fell asleep and closed her eyes.

Dapplepaw grinned as she saw another warrior Feathertail enter the warriors den.
"Oh, Feathertail you look tired," she mewed sympathetically. "Here, take my spot." she mewed as she moved over a bit.
She faced Splashheart once again, ears slightly drooped.
"I don't know who my mentor is," she mewed sadly. "I think Dragonstar is a little preoccupied with Stormstar's death...but i do hope that he holds an apprentice ceremony soon." she continued wistfully.

The ivory colored she cat Angelheart walked in. "Hello Dapplepaw, Streamheart, and Featherheart." she said. She looked at Dapplepaw. Angelheart was a warrior without an apprentice Stormstar hadn't given her one because she was half clan. She closed her eyes and remembered Goldenpaw her sister. Then she opened them and walked over to Splashheart and lay down.

I'm sure when he gets things settled he'll give you a mentor. she said to the sadened apprentice. Turning to Angelheart she smiled Hi Angelheart. She knew that Angelheart haden't had an apprentice, she didn't either after all she wasn't even riverclan. She was thunderclan, but ran away to thunderclan when she was a kit. Her sisters Fernleaf and Sadnfur live in thunderclan with her brother Tigerheart. She knew Fernelaf wished that she would come home one day, to thunderclan. But riverclan was her home now, and she wasn't just about ready to up and leave when they needed her most.

Angelheart looked at Dapplepaw. She wouldn't mind being her mentor right now she had hardly anything to do since her sister lived in Windclan. She also new that Splashheart lived in Thunderclan before she came here. She got up and walked over to Dapplepaw. She sat down and asked Splashheart. "What are you doing today?"
