Raggedpaw watch from in the apprentice's den. He was pondering more then watching the apprentice and warriors discusing important businiess on a round of fresh kill, or some just goofing off. No one seemed to notice the ragged pelt slip away from the clearing, to the apprentice den. He was laying in a non-scenting moss, so Turf could tell that no one had selected the soft moss back in the back of the den, and the brown cat was happy about that; for it seemeed to be the softest spot in the den. But... it was pretty dark, and you couldn't see the starry sky, but Turf was pretty used to that, for you could never see the sky when you lived in the desert. The skies were usually blank. It was terrible. Only on special nights when StarClan sent a omen, or they were just blessed would they see the stars. Turf started to ponder.
His olive green eyes glued to the green moss as he thought.
I miss them so much! They left me. They left their medicine cat apprentice hard and cold in the four clans! Why. Why, why did they have to. Did they punish me for something? I only got lost. It was only a mishappen. I accidenlty slept in! It was only that. I will never do it again! I promise, I will never even think about sleeping if you guys come back for me! Please... I miss Dragon, I miss Leader, and Sable. I miss you all. Please...
Turf of course knew wide and well that TravelClan would never come back for the missing medicine cat apprentice. It was to much of a journey. They probaly found another one by now. It was that obvious to him. It was that easy-to-see for him. It was that sad for him. Raggedpaw would never... ever admit it. Was to faithful in his clan, TravelClan, but inside, deep deep inside, he knew he had to move on and settle in RiverClan. Dragonstar (heart) had welcomed him with warm paws. He beleived he would move one, for he wouldn't of said no. Raggedpaw had just joined RiverClan as a apprentice. He knew that he wouldn't get to be medicine cat. He came from a entirely different clan. Different cats, a whole different turf! But Turf/ Raggedpaw could try. Try was all he could do. He made it his own priority to become a medicine cat. Raggedpaw beleived in himself all to well. He felt a new strength, a new loyalty work itself into his system. That loyalty was to his new clan... RiverClan.
