Talking to Gingertail (Private)

[Raincloud]

Raincloud walked to the edge of the river and stared into it. Some many times she had me her friend Gingertail here and now she was going to do it again.

[Gingertail]

Gingertail looked at her friend Raincloud from a distance and sighed. It had been so long sine the two ha talked. Indeed, Raincloud and Gingertail used to be inseperable. Together they were a team to hard to beat. As kits, they were best of friends and each one was trained by one of the most famoud couples in RiverClan, Windstorm and Dragonheart. But as Gingertail had gotten older, she and Raincloud had sliped away. Raincloud had fallen in love... and so had Gingertail. And the Gingertail became pregnant.. and they never really talked again.

"Raincloud," she said whispering. "Is that you?"

[Raincloud]

Raincloud spun around and smiled as she saw Gingertail, "Oh, Gingertail, it has been so long!" she cried as she ran up to her friend and licked her shoulder before backing away sort of shyly.

[Gingertail]

Gingertail laughed and ran to Riancloud, returning the same greeting. "It has been so long. Tell me, why are you out here?"

[Raincloud]

"Just thinking, I been sort of stressed lately because of the rouges and all. And. . .Clawingheart left again. I let him play with my heart Gingertail," she sighed as she sat down, her tail drooping. She had loved Clawingheart, but twice he had left her, she shouldn't have gotten involved the second time.

[Gingertail]

Gingertail sighed as well and looked down pn the ground. She licked Raincloud's little ear. She knew aobut the whole Clawingheart deal. She had, personally. hated the cat. But not because he was bad, but because he had stolen her best friend from her and when she accepted that Raincloud had fallen in love and had some one closer in her life than Gingertail, Clawingheart broke Raincloud's heart. This angered Gingertail. She was furious for Clawingheart had stolen her friend's heart.. and then broke it. "I know," she whispered. "I remember him. Let us be glad that he is gone."

[Raincloud]

"Yes, I am glad he is gone. Things just weren't right, and I wasn't the only cat he loved. . .How are your kits? I haven't seen them around lately," stated Raincloud as she changed the subject away from Clawingheart's betrayal that her heart was feeling.

[Gingertail]

Gingertail could still sense that her friend was hurting. Leaning in she lciked Raincloud's ear. "Don't worry." She paused. "The kits are doing well. Except..." Gingertail's voice failed as a tear came to her eye.

[Raincloud]

"Except what Gingertail?" asked Raincloud, worry evident in her voice as she saw and heard the sadness that Gingertail was feeling.

[Gingertail]

Gingertail looked up. "Featherkit... is dead." Sadness filled GIngertail as she thought of her poor little kit. "I dont know what to do," she said, beginning to cry.
