Hawkpaw was just about to pounce on a rabbit when she picked up a riverclan cat scent. she followed the scent to a lost looking cat."What are you doing here?" she hissed. Past experences with newcomers hadn't ended well.

[glow=red,2,300]"I'm merely passing through.."She lied.She looked at the apprentice in the eyes,"Actually,i'll be honest with you..I'd like to join Windclan."She said,nervously.[/glow]

[Hawkpaw]

hawkpaw looked startled, "Umm well that's not really my decision but..."As she looked into the cats eyes she could see someting in them. "i'll take you to meet silverstar if you want. Myname's Hawkpaw whats yours." she said stumbling over the words.

[glow=red,2,300]Bramblepelt smiled,"Thank you,and my name is Brmablepelt,nice to meet you."[/glow]

"yeah well i can't let any cat starve. By the way why do you want to join windclan." She asked as she sheathed her claws.(i'll be right back)

[Hawkpaw]

(i'm back) A slight breeze ruffled her fur with a mouse scent on it. "Hold on i'll catch us something to eat." she stalked after the mouse and caught it. Acouple minutes later she droped it in front of Bramblepelt. "i now what its like to need a clan" she murmered

[glow=red,2,300]Bramblepelt shook her head and nudged the mouse back to her."I'm sorry,but I would like to be accepted by the leader before I steal anything that belongs to Windclan,but thank you though."She said as she smiled,"And how do you know how it feels?"[/glow]

"Are you sure you don't want to eat?" Hawkpaw asked hiding barlely hiding her pain. "If you really want to know I was stolen when I was a young kit. A loner named Brighteyes found the rouge that had stolen me and saved me. I grew up with him and he taught me to hunt and defend myself. But I longed for a clan, and he saw that. Brighteyes drove me away trying to help me and I came to Windclan," Hawkpelt mewed. "Sometimes I think I smell his scent like he's checking on me or someting. Kind of wierd right?" she purred unsteadly.

Oh,i'm sure.."She said."That's very sad...now I will tell you my story."She paused,"My mother was an evil cat who abanded me at birth.My father stayed with me and told me of my step-sister,a Riverclan She-Cat name Swiftfoot.I decided to journey to find my long lost sister and live in her clan,but when I got there,I never even had a chance to speak with my beloved sister.It ended up,that rouges had invaded Riverclan and warriors,and even the leader showed up.Pretty soon,I was forgoten and so I padded sadly away.Then after walking for a few days,I came here."

[Hawkpaw]

Hawkpaw frowned. The rouges were wandering to freely now. she sighed and said,"Well if you're going to refuse to eat until you see Silverstar let's go." As she got up she thought of another cat who had a story similar to that. what Bramblepelt didn't know was that Hawkpaw's long-lost sister had also been stolen... and that she was still looking for her.
