The Hunt

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt silently stalked a rabbit. The night was cool and a wind ruffled his fur. He crept closer to the rabbit, then he lept at it. It ran, but Rowanpelt was faster. He lept on to it when it neared it's den and killed it with a quick blow to the back of the neck. He smiled to himsef and took his prize to a small area where he kept his prey till he went back to camp.

Mooneye was sulking near a bush, crying still for the lose of her son, Dreamcatcher. She remembered all the times they would play when he was a kit....now that happiness was gone.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt heard the russling in the bushes. He was upwind of whatever it was. He silently crept closer till he was a few fox-lengths away, and prepared to pounce.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

Mooneye heard a cat coming, but didn't care. She wished a cat would kill her and she could be with Dreamcatcher forever.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt pounced onto what he thought was another rabbit but in truth was Mooneye. They rolled for minute and when they stoped he raised a claw to deliver a killing blow when he saw it was Mooneye. He sared at her."What in the name of Starclan are you doing here?"

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"I was sulking over the lost of my son, Dreamcatcher. Kill me now if you wish Rowenpelt."Said Mooneye in a sad voice.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt gave her look of confusion wich hardened into a look that might just have been disgust."I won't kill you." He said, his voice as hard as a rock. He stepped back from her."Mooneye, I'm surprised at you." He said bluntly.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"I become so diffrent sence his death, I have lost all hope in life and wishing my life would end. I will find that cat, the Night she was the only one who could of done it."Said Mooneye, her voice as cold as ice.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt sighed."I doubt Dreamcatcher would like itt if his mother only yearned for death and revenge."He commented, ssitting down and beginning to wash himself.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"Your right, what was I thinking."Said Mooneye.

[Rowan]

"What indeed," He muttered under his breath. He wondered if she meant what she said.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"I should have known Dreamcatcher would never want this, he would want the cat to be free and learn from its lesson.Said Mooneye.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt nodded, though he still did not trust her.But he couldn't say anything now.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"I must go now, farwell."Said Mooneye running back to ShadowClan.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt looked at her for a while then shook his head. There was no use in asking.
