Rowanpelt stalked a rabbit. He had decided to go hunting after Redcloud hissed at him. The tom's words buzzed in his head. "why don't you join your brother," Redcloud hissed mockingly. "Maybe then you could be useful. So, he had decided to go hunting, away from the clan's harsh words. The rabbit ran off with Rowanpelt in hot pursuit. He gained and lept on it making the kill. That'll show Redcloud, he thought happily to himself.

Darkfur watched scilently. Rowanpelt. "Is that you Rowan," said Darkfur using Rowanpelts nickname.

Rowanpelt dropped the rabbit in surprise. "Darkfur!" He said in surprise. He spotted him a little ways away. "Is that you." He ran over and pounced on his older brother.

Darkfur smiled and fell over when Rowanpelt jumped on him. He rolled and started to play- fight. With his paw sheathed. Darkfur pawed at Rowanpelt's head.

Rowanpelt gave a mock cry of defeat."Help me, Darkfur is trying to paw me to death!" He said, though his voice did not carry. He backed away. "So, brother, what are you doin here?"

Darkfur growled with triumph."I was around, haven't seen ya in a long time so, I decide to visit. How are you,"asked Darkfur.

Rowanpelt did not hesitate in his answer. "Everythings great." A picture of Redcloud came into his mind but his voice was still cheerful as he said. "Amberwind's expecting kits, and Hollowheart's annoying Silverstar."

"Really. No one giving you a hard time. Because if there was I could..." said Darkfur in a joking way. Darkfur started to clean himself.

"No, everyone's great." Rowanpelt said smiling, using the same voice he'd been using. He didn't falter in his lie. He hated to share his problems with anyone. "I must go soon, we need the prey."

Rowanpelt opened his mouth slightly to let the scents comeing from Darkfur hit the roof of his mouth. "You've been near Shadowclan with alot of rouges around you." He said. This wasn't new information to him or anyone else in the clans.

Rowanpelt thought about it for a minute. Darkfur was asking him to join his rouges. "No," He said. "My place is with Windclan." He picked up his rabbit. "Gotta run brother, see ya."
