Wingclaw reached the large grass with Amberpaw padding beside her. Wingclaw swivled her ears until she pinpointed the sound of a tiny heartbeat. Crowching low Wingclaw dashed in the direction of the animal dissapearing behind a tuft of grass.

Amberpaw smelled the air and picked up the scent of rabbit. She silently crept up to the creature then leaped for it. landing on its back. She quickly administered a killing blow and took it back to the small clearing and waited for Wingclaw to come back.

Wingclaw pushed through the grass carrying a large rabbit in her jaws. Wingclaw laid the rabbit down next to Amberpaw's and pushed dirt over it. "Want to hunt by th e stream?" meowed Wingclaw.

"Sure," Amberpaw meowed entusticly and ran over to the area the stream was located. She dropped to a hunters crouch as she spied a mouse. She silently crept up to it and pounced as it made a dash. It was fast but, she was faster, finishing it off quickly.

Wingclaw twitched her ear until she located a sound by the river. staulking up she speid a watervole. She dropped into a crouch inching up to the prey. She quickly pounced and finished off the Vole. Wingclaw walked back to where Amberpaw had left to catch a mouse and waited.

Amberpaw walked over carrying a water vole. She placed it in front of Wingclaw.

"Nice catch!" meowed Wingclaw. Wingclaw stopped and looked across the river. Poking her head through the reeds she spooted a fairly large fish in the water. "Want any fish Amberpaw?"

Wingclaw swiped at the fish, the fish curved a little and splashed water up into Wingclaw's eye's.Wingclaw wiped her eyes and watched the fish swim away. "So much for that."

Amberpaw could barely contain her laughter. "Well, I guess that's why Windclan catches rabbits, and not fish.' She pricked her ears at a sudden noise and saw a water vole a few yards away. She went into a stalking position, and began to inch foreward when it dissapeared into it's den. "Well, that's a shame." She said sitting up.
