Escape!!!!!!!

[Willowtail]

Willowtail froze as she smelt the rabbit. There is was, hopping slowly towards her. With a rustle, Willowtail pounced and killed the rabbit. After doing so she feasted on the warm flesh. She left the bones out in full view.
The scent of the Thunderpath grew stronger as Willowtail wandered nearer. It was then that she heard a rustle.

[Silentclaw]

Silenclaw walked next to Willowtail. He had not been trying to be quiet. He looked at the pile of bones to willowtail. His eyes seemed to ask her, Why?

[Willowtail]

Willowtail did not answer his unspoken question. She just stared at him. How could he have followed her all this way? Why?

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw tared at her. Why had she come here? Why had she left the bones in the open? Why? The question vibrated in her mind. There was only one thing her ould do to stop it. "Why?" He said and looked slightly surprised. This was the first time he'd spoken in months. "Why?" He asked again.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail gasped. He had spoke. Silentclaw. Had. Spoke. He was cured! She was a good Medicine Cat after all.
Willowtail looked away, ashamd to be caught by Silentclaw.
"Why did you follow me?" She asked

[Silentclaw]

"You were gone for quite a while," He said."Why did you leave the rabbit bones in full veiw?"

[Willowtail]

Willowtail looked him in the eye. Ignoring his question she asked another.
"You're talking," She continued, "Was it me that made you talk?" Why me? Willowtail thought Am I the reason? Shock flooded through her as a guess came to her Was it because I am the only cat to show true kindness? Or is it something else...?

Silentclaw shrugged. "I don't know why I spoke to you." He thought for a minute. "I guess you take my mind from my own problems."

[Willowtail]

"Yes, but why me?" Willowtail asked. She began to edge away but kept her eyes trained on Silentclaw. His cream coat with the dark brown markings contrasted beautifully in the half-light.

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw thought for a minute. "You talk and when you do it can be comforting...." He noticed she was walking away. What, was it something I said?" He asked looking concerned. Why was she walking away? He took a step foreward.

[Willowtail]

"But. . .But I mess things up and confuse cats," Willowtail whispered. "I let Darkfur escape at HighStones and got hit on the Thunderpath. I allowed myself to fall in love with a WindClan Warrior. Would you call that a loyal ShadowClan Medicine Cat?"

She stopped walking away and sat still.

[Hollow]

"Actually, letting Darkfur get away was my fault, and you weren't thinking straight when you got hit by a monster."Hollowheart appeared out of the bushes. He walked over and stood next to Willowtail.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail froze as Hollowheart spoke. She stood up and placed herself infront of the rabbit bones, hoping to hide them from the WindClan Warrior.

[Silentclaw]

"You can't control who you fall in love with," Silentclaw added, hoping the apearnce of Hollow wouldn't freak her out to much."No cat is perfect" he added with a partial smile. "We all have our faults, we just need to find a way to see a way past them to understand how they can make us .. unique."He rembered Sighingwind and all her advice to him and smiled

[Willowtail]

"But I'm a Medicine Cat," Willowtail said, "I am not supposed to fall in love." She stared from Silentclaw to Hollowheart. Hollowheart with his dark pelt could almost be Silentclaw's shadow.

"The only good thing I've ever done is make you talk. Remember that Kit I told you about, Hollowheart? It died. I let it die. I couldn't save it. It wasn't even greencough. Just a chill. A little chill that took its life because I had ran out of herbs. I couldn't even find a poppy seed to ease its journey to StarClan!" Willowtail wailed. She stood up and moved away from the bones leaving them in full view. She hoped Hollowheart would punish her for this. She wanted to be hurt. It would take her mind off everything.

[Silentclaw]

" Well what did you learn from that sad experiance?" Silentclaw asked. He looked at Hollow to see his reaction to the bones.

[Hollow]

Hollow looked at the bones then at Willowtail and Silentclaw with an expression that they were raving mad. Bones? What was the purpose of these bones? Did it have something to do with their warrior code? He shook his head and muttered how he felt about their, warrior code

[Willowtail]

"I learnt that I'm a failure as a Medicine Cat." Willowtail said. Hollowheart's reaction to the bones had been strange. It was like he didn't care about the Warrior Code.

[Silentclaw]

"Don't give up," Silentclaw stepped foreward and nudged her with his nose. "You must learn from your mistake. You now know you need to have more supplies and be better organized. Truast me, you let a lot more people down if you don't try." He gave her a sympithetic look.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail gazed at Silentclaw as she realised the wisdom of his words. . .And the sad experience. He was trying to be strong for her but inside she knew he was still frightened and shell-shocked about what had happened to his other Clan. She made up her mind.
"I am returning to ShadowClan," She announced. "You can come with me if you like."

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw thought about her words for a minute then nodded. "I will go with," He said in a strong detemined voice. "I believe you need me, as do I."

[Willowtail]

Willowtail smiled, touched her nose to Hollowheart's and then set off towards the Thunderpath with Silentclaw following.

She looked up and down it. There was no sign of a Monster and she raced across, Silentclaw hard on her tail.

Together, they wadered into ShadowClan teritory.

[Silentclaw]
