Waiting

[Willowtail]

It was midnight when Willowtail shot across the Thunderpath into WindClan territory. She sat and waited fo Hollowheart to arrive.

[Hollow]

Hollowheart went behind Willowtail and sat down behind her."Sorry I'm late." He looked at her though two orange eyes. "What is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

[Willowtail]

Willowtail looked around her and twitched her ears before answering, "I need to warn you."

[Hollow]

"Of what?" Hollowheart asked her.

[Willowtail]

"I had a message from StarClan. They told me a prophecy. It speaks of ShadowClan at war with ThunderClan. And...And that WindClan will battle the Unknown. I'm worried. What happens if you die?" Willowtail let it all out. She pressed her body against his and found comfort in his sleek fur.

[Hollow]

Hollowheart looked at the cat he had grown to love in a way he had nearly forgotten."IThen I will die," He said softly.Willow tail can you promise me something?"

[Willowtail]

"Anything." Willowtail replied

[Hollow]

"Promise to stay away from the gathering." Hollowheart said. "You know I lost both my sisters. I have grown to love you like a sister. Don't make me lose another one."

[Willowtail]

"Hollowheart, I...I love you." Willowtail stammered

[Hollow]

"I know you do." Hollowheart said with a sad smile."But I cannot love you that way. So please, instead of loving me as a lover, love me as a brother."

[Willowtail]

Willowtail was stunned. She loved him. He had thrown what she was prepared to give to him back in her face.
"I should never had warned you." She whispered before standing up and starting to walk away.

[Hollow]

Hollowheart silently cursed. His plan had been destroyed. He sighed and looked at the stars."I remember looking at these stars with you." came a gentle voice from behind him.
"Yes but in those times were .... simpler." Hollowheart said to Amberpaw. She looked down and then back at Hollowheart.
"Let's look at those stars again, and foget for a whle who we are," she said to him."Let us for a while lose ourselfs in an infinity."

[Willowtail]

Willowtail had reached the edge of the Thunderpath until a nagging feelin made her turn back. She raced back towards Hollowheart and told him.
"Hollowheart," She said, "I want your kits."

Hollowheart and Amberpaw stared at Willowtail. "Ok, I see you two have some issues," Amberpaw said backing up."I'm just going....to walk away." Amberpaw turned hel and ran away.

[Willowtail]

"I-I'm sorry," Willowtail announced, "I should have realised. From the moment you knocked me out in MotherMouth." She then too, turned tail and ran away.

[Hollow]

"Coward." Hollowheart yelled at Amberpaw's retreating back. He turned back to Willowtail and gulped."I thought you hated me now." He said softly, knowing she probaly did now. When she to ran away he looked at the stars again. "Why me,"He yelled to them."Why do you torment me like this? I have done nothing to deserve such a fate!" He sighed and layed down.It was easier being a freelancer

[Willowtail]

Yet again, Willowtail stopped at the edge of the Thunderpath. So many questions filled her head: Had she been to harsh? Had she been mistaken about Amberpaw? Why had she told him the truth?
Blindly she ran out into the middle of the Thunderpath. Suddenly she felt pain throughout her body. A monster had hit her. She squealed in pain as she was flun into the bushes on WindClan territory. She fainted.

[Hollow]

Hollowheart heard the yowl of pain and ran to the thunder path. He quicky found Willowtail's unconsious body and cried. Then he stopped and shook his head. This waas not the time to s=cry like a kit. He grabbed her by the scoff of the neck and ragged her back to camp.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail awoke in a strange Den. She smelt WindClan and an even more familiar scent, Hollowheart. He was there, standing by her. She had never felt so embarrassed in her whole life. She had told him her secret wish and now she wouldn't be able to hide from him for ages.
Willowtail mewed a greeting and waited for what he was going to say.

"Next time look both ways before crossing the thunder path." He said in an angry tone."Mabey I won't have to explain to the Lady, why you did something incredably stupid." He turned away from her and walked out.
