Wingclaw pushed her way past the tall grass that grew in the vast plains of WindClan. A low humming made her ears twitch as she neared the river that barred the way between RiverClan and WindClan.

Rosepaw followed her mentor happily. She was excited to be an apprentice and wanted to impress Wingclaw.

Wingclaw stopped in front of the River, light glistening off of it as the sun hit the water. Wingclaw looked towards Rosepaw making her way towards her. She sighed. "This is the river. It is the barrier between RiverClan and WindClan." she shoved a pebbel into the fast flowing water and watched it be dragged on with the flow of the water.

Rosepaw looked at it excited. She put her paw in the the water. Z"it is cold." she complained.

Wingclaw let out a small purr of amusement. "You should see it during Leaf Bare." She said watching the flow of the ever-moving river.

"I want to see it,"she said eagerly. "I wish leaf bare would hurry up." she looked around and saw some RiverClan cats going in it on the other side. "Why are they going in it?' she asked.
