Wingpaw waited a few minutes and when Dawnpaw didn't answer she had seen that she already left. Wingpaw got up and stretched. Wingpaw padded out of the den and looked around the clearing. Dead leaves were everywhere...."not surprising..."thought Wingpaw it was still leafbear but newleaf was almost upon them. The smell of rain filled the clearing. There was going to be a rainstorm today. Wingpaw walked back to the medicene cats den to see Nightleaf.

Dawnpaw walked over to Wingpaw and sat down with her legs under her chest and her tail around her. She began to purr contently. She was happy here and she was happy with Wingpaw. But why are things some comlicated?Why couldn't I just be regular clan cat? she thought.

Patchpaw gazed at the black and white Warrior. Although the Warrior didn't know it, she was about to be assigned Patchpaw as her Apprentice.

Amberpaw walked in as the new cat staed her question. "You can sleep here," She pointed to a largenest of moss near the back."I know it doesn't look like much," she said."But it's one of the warmest nests here."
