Silentclaw looked at her for a moment before speaking. "This could complicate things, tell me, do you want the leader to know?" He begain to pace, which he often did when he was thinking.

Willowtail thought hard, frantic with worry. "No," She decided at last, "Moonstar is not stupid. She will guess as soon as she sees me. I will wait to here my options. I can't stop being Medicine Cat, I love helping cats! And the Warriors will whisper about me behind my back and StarClan will punish me like they did Yellowfang a long time ago."

Silentclaw stopped pacing."Don't worry, Starclan won't punish us or our kits to severly." He told his mate calmly. "We only have to tell Moonstar, she's the only one who'll ever need to know." He stood next to his mate. "As long as we keep or heads, everything will turn out fine." He gave Willowtail's head a quick lick.

Willowtail looked at him gratefully. "Will you stay here? I'll go and tell her." Without waiting for an answer, Willowtail made her way to the Leader's Den.

Silentclaw stood up. "I'll go with you, you'll need someone on your side." He said to her retreating back. He silently followed her to the leader's den.
