Cold

Windchaser walked into the Med. Cat den. She wasn't feeling well after slipping in the river. She felt freezing and her nose was runny. "Willowtail,' she whispered. He voice was low since she hd a hurting throat.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail rushed up to Windchaser.
"What happened!?" She asked, already she was leading Windchaser to her Den.

Windchaser sniffled. "I..I fell in..into the w..w..water." she stuttered. Her throat was bugging her and she was freezing. She sat in side Willowtail's Den

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw walked up to her. He looked her over then turned to Willowtail. "I'll go fetch some extra moss." As Windchaser sniffled he added quietly to himself. "A lot of extra moss." He waited a moment to see if Willowtail needed anything while he went for moss.

[Willowtail]

"Bring some mint leaves back with you as well, and some wolfsbane!" Willowtail tugged forward the ferns that kept the warmth in he Den and circled to make a nest for Windchaser.

Windchaser looked at her gratefully. "Thank you," she said. She then lay her head down to try to sleep only she had no success.

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw came back, his mouth crammed with mint leaves and wolfsbane. He had recruited to kits to help bring in moss. He put the herbs down and told the kits to put some moss in the nest.

Moonstar put her pray in the freshpile and went to Willowtails den. "I came to check if Windchaser is alright."Said Moonstar.

[Thunderfang]

Windchaser sniffled. "I think you should leave, Thunderfang," she said. "You have kits to tend to and i don'y want to get you sick." she said snezzing. her eyes now were really watery.

(Thunderfang, shouldn't you be in the nursery?)

''okey''she said(i no but mantrickers with them and thier taking a nap)

(Yeah, but the chances of you getting sick are great since I am going to have a bad cold for greencough)

Windchaser nodded then put her head down.

[Thunderfang]

(k)Thunderfang walked off

[Willowtail]

"It's possible that she has taken a bad chill," Willowtail explained impatiently. Silentclaw and the Kits were helping, she didn't need the Leader getting in the way! "If she gets worse, than it could turn to Whitecough and possibly Greencough. If she does get either of those, or a bad chill, she will be confined to the hollow log with the shrubs surrounding it, however if her condition is exceptionally bad, then Windchaser will stay with me for day-to-day treatment." She remembered that Thunderfang was in there and the fact that chills were particularly dangerous to Queens because they could spread it to Kits. She wondered if it worked with barely pregnant cats. She chewed up the mint leaves and crushed the wolfsbane with a stone. Quickly she mixed them with her paw and placed them infront of Windchaser with a few poppy seeds.

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw looked at Willowtail for a moment. Then he turned to the kits. "Get more moss for Windchaser," He told them and turned to the two she-cats. "Don't worry, as long as she is warm, and rested, she'll be fine." He said with confidence. He looked at Willowtail. "Is there anything you need?" He asked with slight concern.

[Willowtail]

"I'll be fine, Silentclaw," Willowtail replied, "A chill has never kept me from living life to the full. However, two cats would be better than one if Windchaser gets worse," Willowtail looked at Moonstar and twitched her ear towards the entrance to the Den. "You better go now, Moonstar, we don't want our Clan Leader down."

Windchaser looked at the herbs. She sliently took the medicine that Willowtail put in front of her. She then nodded at Moonstar and put her head down.

"Okay Willowtail."Said Moonstar as she turned around and headed off.

Windchaser started to breath rasperly. She felt heavier and colder.

Moonstar coulden't help but be worried for Windchaser. She was her deputy, but she was her daughter first. She went back to Willowtails den and stayed there.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail lay down next to Windchaser and rapped her tail round her. She indicated to Silentclaw to do the same on the other side.
"It's alrigh, Moonstar, Windchaser will be safe with us."

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"Okay, I can't help but worry."Said Moonstar.

Windchaser gasped then fell asleep.

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw sat next to Windchaser. The she-cat seemed to be having trouble breathing. He looked at Willowtail. "Is there anything else we can do?" He asked her.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail said nothing but began to massage Windchaser's throat with her tounge. She had done this many times before and it always helped with the breathing.

Later that day Windchaser woke up. She felt a little better and she felt warmer. She looked up to see Willowtail over her.

[Willowtail]

"It's alright, Windchaser," Willowtail whispered. "You've just been asleep. Can you breath okay?"

[Thunderfang]

thunderfang went in there''Have you guys seen Wolfpaw!''she asked

Windchaser looked at howlingpaw. "I will be fine." she said. "We will start training soon. I can breath fine Willowtail," she said. She tried to get up but fell back down.

[Willowtail]

"No, Thunderfang. Howlingpaw, out now!" Willowtail snapped. She pressed her ear against the area where Windchaser had her lungs. The breathing was not good. "Windchaser, I need you to relax and try to breath normally," Willowtail asked. "You've just gotta bad chill." She looked at Silentclaw, her face clearly expressing her fears about Windchaser. She mouthed at Silentclaw She has Whitecough.
