After the fire, Star was terrified. Her mind flashed back to when she was in her bed, then the terrible screaming, a horrid smell reached her nostrils, and all she remebered next was the wind on her face, she had entered the wild.
Looking around she felt small, uneasy, in this unusual world of the wildcats. The Shadow-what ever they were, had been trying to push questions out of her all day, but she was to fear-striken and sad. What do I do, I must think of a clan name, but what? She thought of the fire, and the words spilled out of her mouth, "I will be known as Fireice to the clan cats."

One of the warriors of the clan stepped from where he had been on sentry duty and gave her a glance. "Fireice?" He said in a slow, drawling tone. "Not much of a name, cat. Really a contradiction. Don't you remember your old name?"

Crowkit waddled over .Her large amber eyes glowing with excitement."Nnnaahhhh!"she hissed at Fireice,sticking out her tongue tauntingly."We caught a kittypet!We caught a kittypet!"The young cat wrinkled up her nose."An,ya smell like un to!"She licked her lips eyeing Fireice suspiciously."Baneclaws right!Fireice is a weird name!It's like.....Brambleheather!"She wrinkled her nose at the name she made.....

Fireice could feel the fur on the back of her neck rising, "who are you? I was just passing through because of what happened to my family," she mumbled. "Either let me free, or let me talk to your leader."

That's it, thought Fireice, she is going to pay for that. She felt wind rushing through her fur, and the next instant, Fireice and Innocentsoul were locked in a tussle of fur and claws. Sinking her teeth into her enemy's leg, and blinking blood out of her eyes, she leapted off, "Now you know how I feel! Feel pain clan cat?" hissing and spitting, she swiped at the she-cat's face, direct blow, fresh warm blood trickeled down her leg.

Innocentsoul yowled with pain as blood spilled onto the cold ground "Is that how you want to play!!", she hissed "Then lets have it your way."
Innocentsoul leaped at Fireice, she clawed at the cat's chest before jumping back out of reach of the Kittypet. |

Gasping for air, Fireice could see blackness swimming before her eyes. This must stop, if she kept on, she would surely die. "Please, this musn't go on, have mercy on me, I'm sorry. I just wanted to prove myself." Felling herself fall, she blacked out.
Blinking sleep out of her eyes, Fireice yawned, "where am I? How did I get here?" She looked up from her moss nest and saw another cat pawing at some herbs and mumbiling to herself, then walked out of the den. After she left, a couple of other cats walked in, one was Innocentsoul, but the other she didn't reconize. "Came here to torture and ridicule me even more?!" Fireice spat, "just go ahead and kill me for Starclan's sake, I don't deserve to be here." "Leave." She muttered.

"Who is your brother?" asked Fireice gently. She was now very sorry for this young kit, sadness welled up inside of her. Thinking about her two other sisters, she didn't even know if they were alive. "Young one, can you do me a favor? I need you to tell me if you've seen any cat by the name of Meashu. Have you meet anyone with that name?" Fireice was warmed at the kit's thoughtfulness, she just adored kits. Oh, how she wished she was a mother. Shaking those thoughts away, she said to Crowkit, "It's ok, Crowkit, I forgive you." Winking at the kitten, she said, "And don't get into any trouble with the other warriors now, understand?" Getting up, she walked over to the kit, and drew her tounge over her ear. "I should be the one that's saying sorry, can you forgive me?" said Fireice. as she looked into Crowkit's eyes.

Innocentsoul smiled at Crowkit, She seemed so Innocent."So FireIce, What brings you to Shadowclan terra?" asked Innocentsoul cooly.
Innocentsoul felt bad for the kittypet and though she hated newcomers with all her might.She never forgets that her mother was a newcomer from Moonclan and turned out to be leader.
Innocentsoul blinked away her toughts then waited for an answer from Fireice. |

"Well..." Fireice was esitent about what to say to the clan cat. "My home was destroyed in a fire, including my twolegs." Bravely Fireice looked up at Innocentsoul, "Why did you want to know? I mean, why does a clan cat want anything to do with kittypet business." She gulped maybe that was not the right thing to say to the clan-cat, was that a big mistake? "Sorry, I should'nt be sticking my nose in someone else's buisiness."

Innocentsoul nodded her head in understanding, "Don't worry, I know how you feel...Well ...sorta", Innocentsoul sounded very confused.
"Anywho,I am sorry how I treated you back there. It's just... Shadowclan has been going threw very bad times latley... and I don't want anything worst to happen", Innocentsoul seemed deep in thought again.Almost like she was in a dream. |

Fireice looked deep into Innocentsoul's eyes, something odd was going on here, finally Fireice drew up enough courage to ask her, "Are you OK? You seem kinda' troubled. And it's fine about what happened, I'm used to it." Trying to give an encouraging gesture, she flicked her tail across the troubled she-cat's face, "come on, how about you show me around the camp, I could use some excersie."

Crowkit looked up at fireice.Sniffing a bit, she mewed"My brother is Ravenkit,uh there is another Ravenkit though."she frowned"I have not heard of Measho, Measha?Sorry if I got it wrong."She smiled and began too groom fireice's fur.

"Oh, well thank you Crowkit." Fireice tried at her hardest to not have the tears come, and succeeded. She sighed, "what has been going on that's gotten everyone all shaken up? I heard earlier from Baneclaw that there's a war going on, if so I want to help you, you've helped me in ways I can't imagine." Playfully, she cuffed Crowkit over the ear, her eyes glittering with mischief, and with what seemed to be sympathy.
