Vapormist dragged his paws to the border. He hadn't seen Grayrain in so long. He looked at the riverclan terra. His gray eyes searched for her. Was she alright? She started to knead the ground in fear. Suddenly the small shape of Grayrain walked out of the undergrowth. A purr came from her throat. "I missed you Vapormist" she whispered once they were close again. He started to clean her head lovingly. She closed her eyes in peaceful bliss. But the moment was short lived. The sound of a snap behind Vapormist made Grayrain bolt up and jump onto her terra. She said a hasty goodbye and raced away as a clanmate of Vapormist's popped his head out. "Did you chase it off?" it asked Vapormist nodded.
