Dogstar was leader of Moonclan, a clan in the south. His dad was a kittypet named Blaze and his mother was a warrior of Moonclan named Moondust. He had a sister named Bluestripe who ran away to Riverclan. His name before was Dogpelt because he looked like a Rottwiler. He became leader after Wolfstar(Wolfeye's Grandfather) died of greencough. He was Wolfeyes Mentor and when Wolfeyes was getting his warrior name a fire came and Dogstar hid Wolfeyes in a bunch of lunar flowers, as Starclan had told him that Wolfeyes was the chosen one. Every cat died and Wolfeyes was the soul survier of Moonclan, but Dogstar was never forgotten fo his leadership and courage.
