Chapter one: Hazelpaw


It was a worm, cloudy day. A young brown tom was wandering around the dence forest. His name was Hazel, named for his hazel eyes. He colaspsted, his back leg badly bleeding from a gun wound. He blacked out as three other cats came near him.

He woke up the next morning in a den filled with hurbs. A young she-cat was puting cobwebs on his leg. "So your up."She said with a lovly mew. Hazel looked into her amber eyes, "Where am I."He asked. "'Your in ThunderClan, by the way my names Healingwind." "My names Hazel."He said back. Hazel started to get up, his leg was much better. "Come on you should see Stiffstar now." Hazel fallowed.

Stiffstar came out of his den, his deputy Darkheart next to him. Hazel looked around at the other cats. A big brown and tan tom with a tuff of dark brown fur on his head sat next to him. "My names Bigpaw."He said. Stiffstar twiched his tail for silence. "Yesturday you all know that Darkheart and his patrol found a young tom near our clan. I have disided if he would choose to join us so be it." Hazel nodded to Stiffstar. "What is your name youngone?"He asked. "My names Hazel."said hazel. Stiffstar nodded. "From this moment on till you get your warrior name, you shall be know as Hazelpaw." Every cat started chanting "Hazelpaw!, hazelpaw!. Stiffstar silented them again. "Your mentor will be Shadepelt." A black tom came up to hazelpaw and touched noses with him. Stiffstar turned and headed back to his den. "Wow! You got Shadepelt as your mentor!"Said Bigpaw. Hazel smiled. "Come on, I'll indraduse you to the others."Said Bigpaw as he ran to the apprentices den. Hazelpaw ran not to far behind.

Chapter two: Meeting Fiverpaw

Bigpaw and Hazelpaw arrived at the apprentice den. Three other apprentices were out eating. "Thats Spiritpaw." Said Bigpaw as he tilted his head to a white she-cat. "This is Bonepaw." A black tom nodded to him. "Hwo's that?" Asked Hazelpaw pointing his tail to a small light tan tom. "Thats Fiverpaw. Hes always has this feeling something bad will happen." Said Bigpaw as he started eating a mouse that Spiritpaw left him. Hazelpaw went up to Fiverpaw. Fiverpaws amber eyes grew big. "Hi, I'm Hazelpaw.", "I'm Fiverpaw."Said Fiverpaw. Hazelpaw's hazel eyes looked deep into Fiverpaw's amber eyes and said "want to be friends?". "Sure!" Said Fiverpaw as he and Hazelpaw joined the others.

.....Next Morning.....

Hazelpaw felt a paw tabbing him. He opened his eyes and saw Bigpaw. "Come on, its time to train." Hazelpaw got up fallowed him to the hollow outside of camp. The others were there already with their mentors. He walked up to Shadepelt and saw Fiverpaw with his mentor, Healingwind the Med. cat. "Come Hazelpaw, we will be learning how to hunt today." said Shadepelt as he led Hazelpaw into the forest.

Chapter three: Darkheart's Seacret

After hunting. Shadepelt and Hazelpaw were heading back to camp when they saw Bigpaw running up to them, his eyes wide in terror. "Darkheart is in aliaences with ShadowClan!"Said Bigpaw. Shadepelt and Hazelpaw were shocked. "We must tell Stiffstar!"Said Hazelpaw. Shadepelt, Bigpaw, and Hazelpaw ran back to camp and went to Stiffstar's den. "Stiffstar, we have important news."said Shadepelt. Stiffstar came out of his den. "What is it Shadepelt."He asked. "Its about Darkheart!" Said Bigpaw. Stiffstar looked shocked. "Come in.:He said. Shadepelt, Bigpaw, and Hazelpaw went into his den.

In Stiffstar's den.......
"Now Bigpaw, tell me all you know." Said Stiffstar lokking at the apprentice. "Well, I saw Darkheart talking to Dirtclaw about some plan to take over all the clans with ShadowClan."Said Bigpaw. Stiffstar nodded. "Thank you three. I will speak with Darkheart." Said Stiffstar as he dismist them from his den. "You've done it now brother."said Shadepelt with a growl. "Darkheart is Shadepelt's brother. he has always hated his brother."Whispered Bigpaw to Hazelpaw. Hazelpaw could see that Shadepelt would do anything to stop his brother, even if meant his own death in the progress.

Chapter four: A gathering and a scar

It was the night of the gathering. Stiffstar went to the top of the High Rock and called all the names of the cats that would go. "Shadepelt, Velvetmoon, Hazelpaw, Bigpaw, Crookedtail and Loudfoot come."Said Stiffstar as the cats he called fallowed him him out the Gorse tunnel. Hazelpaw was walking next to Velvetmoon, her soft pink eyes looked at him kindly.

Hazelpaw then saw fourtrees up ahead. WindClan and RiverClan where already there. Two cats waited on top of the high rock above the others. "Thats Rockstar and Lightstar."Said Bigpaw as he walked next to Hazelpaw. Coming from the oppisite side of fourtrees was ShadowClan. Jumping up to sit with the other leaders was a pale brown she-cat. "That must be Farstar, ShadowClans new leader."Said Crookedtail as he sat down next to Hazelpaw and Bigpaw. A RiverClan apprentice came from behind Hazelpaw and and nuzzled him. Hazelpaw turned around and saw his sister. "Violet!"Said Hazelpaw as he nuzzled her. "its Violetpaw now Hazelpaw."Said Violetpaw with a purr. The leaders called for silence so the gathering could start.

All of a sudden a large scared brown tom walked out with his warriors, his one amber eye cought site of Hazelpaw and Violetpaw. "My name is Scar. My followers and I have come to kill the ones named Hazel and Violet."All the ThunderClan and RiverClan cats gathered around Hazelpaw and Violetpaw. "You won't touch a hair on them you fox dung!"Spat Shadepelt at Scar as he walked forward. Scared laughed. "You think you can stop me from killing my kits!"He hissed as he clawed at Shadepelt. Shadepelt layed in a pile of his own blood. His eyes started to cloud over but before he passed out he saw Hazelpaw and Violetpaw come clawing at their father as the rest of the cats fought with the rouge warriors. "Well done Hazelpaw."said Shadepelt then he layed his head down and passed out.
