Hey all! I've found a reeeeeaaaaallllly good book series that I think everyone may like. It's called the Underland Chronicles, and it starts with book 1, "Gregor the Overlander". Has anyone besides me read it?
((P.S., Smart Admins, if I have misplaced this topic, please tell me! I didn't know where I should've put this!))

It's about a boy named Gregor, who lives with his mom, grandma, and two sisters in New York City. His father has been missing for three years. One day, He and his two year old sister, Boots ((Margret)) fall through the vent in the wash room of his apartment building and end up in a land called the "Underland". It is inhabited by giant bats, rats, mice, c-o-c-k-roaches, lightningbugs, ants, etc. You name it, there is probably a giant form of it. As long as it lives in a cave.
Also, there is a race of pale skinned violet-eyed people who call Gregor the "Warrior". As it turns out, there is a prophecy with him in it. ((Don't worry, it's not at all dorky))
This is the series that convinced me that c-o-c-k-roaches are the cutest things alive! ^o^ ((They become obsessed with Boots, and call her the princess. It's really weird....))

Yeah that sounds familiar...If I can get back to reading fantasy I might have to check it out. Right now I have been reading all these nature stories, like kids taking on the odds of Everest type thing....

Ah. I've been taking a break from those, lately.
Although, I just proved that the Underland Chronicles rules to my friends! The second one just became on of this year's Sequoya's! ((Sequoya books are books that get voted to be the best of Oklahoma for a year.))
