A silent golden tom stalked aroud the rouge terra, his ears sharpened toward every movement. His eyes darted around ceaselessly. The rouges were attackign te clans, he had heard, so why wouldn't they stop at a appretance? He looked around again, his want was specail. To meet his friend, Moth of the rouges. She didn't act like the other rouges though, he knew, from their prier meeting. She was a golden she-cat very calm and sweet despite her past, which they had shared in hopes of finding peace. Or he did at least, his mind had been more calm less saddening after meeting her. But he thought about the preety she-cat. A lot. He scanned the bushes, wishing that he could see through them to spoil any ambushes or attacks waiting with beady eyes behind their cover. The thought made his skin crawl. He dleared his throat and quietly called out, "Moth. Moth!" he tried again and desided to wait for a second to see what who- or what- had heard his plea.

A pretty gold and white she-cat atalked over to a golden apprentice, "Goldenpaw... is that really you... is it?" She spoke in wide-eyed whisper, no one ever came to visit her. I thought he would'of forgot about me, by now, everyone does! "Why do you come to rogue terra?" Her voice was sweet and calm, her bbrigght green eyes were as smooth as ever, Moth's pelt was groomed as usual. The RiverClan apprentice looked a little scared though.

The golden tom visable grew calmer at the she-cat appearance. " Of course it's me Moth! I can to visit you!" he replied, chest hair puffing out proudly. She seemed a little suprised. " How are you? Have you been well?" His eyes shoen warmly and joy filled him, joy for meeting his only friend. He bent to lick his chest fur down as he waited for her reply.

"I've been fine! I can't you came all the way here to see me. Moth spoke sweetly. She knew he came here to see her, even if he didn't tell her, "So what's been up in RC?" She gsv a few flicks of her tail before sitting down calmly and flicked her tail even more, sometimes the tip of her tail would strike her back and make her hairs rise, but she knew it was her own tail, so Moth would make them fall back down again, "Have you been doing anything special?"

"That's great! Um, nothing has been happening latel-oh yeah, we have a new deputy." He almost wondered if it was safe for a rouge to hear this, but Moth was his friend, he could trust her. He shuffled his paws at the guilty thought. "So, What's up with the rouges? I mean if you want to tell me, couse you might be scared I'm a spy." All of the stuff stumbled out of his mouth before he could stop it and he coughed embarassedly.

"Of corse not, Goldenpaw!" The gold and white she-cat mewed in a playful roar. "But you must know what is up in the rogues, Phantom led warriors to attack and..." Moth didn't like the last part, she didn't een like battles. "Take over ShadowClan, like they did not ThinderClan. It's awful isn't it? Rogues taking over the clans." She looked down at her feet, her bright green eyes, searched the ground for anything to look at, as she avoided his eyes.

Goldenpaw gasped suprised. "I won't tell. We might find out though if they send for help." he sighed and shook away the images of Riverclan running scared. " It would be scare if rouge took over. if they do them I hope you get my camp." he blushed under his golden fur, knowing she couldn't see it but still blushing. The warmth of it seemed to make his body glow. He wondered how red he would look right now if he were boald.

Moth wanted to smile, but cats couldn't smile, and they were tooken away with that. Scenting the ffrom Goldenpaw's body she just wanted to smile more, but her face expression on her face probaly looked happy. "Goldenpaw, if we do attack your clan, I'll tell you the plan before anything. And then you can get your clan prepared." Moth make her pelt every where lay down smoothly.

Goldenpaw's stumach fluttered at the promise and he felt a warm glow inclose him. Was this what having a true friendship was? " I will do the same fro you, Moth. You are my only frined, I wouldn't let you be attacked. I'd get you out, at least." he nodded, statified with his promise, less than her's but still happy with it. At least he wasn't blushing anymore....

That's what this is, a good friendship Moth thought easily,''Goldenpaw, I really like have you around, you keep me great company, and you are my best and only friend as well." Moth kept her pretty pelt down, but it wanted to stick up so badly. She leaned over and gave him a lick on his golden head to le him know she was going to keep that promise.

Goldenpaw looked at the rouge, happiness showing in his his eyes and making the glow like fireflies. " You are my only friend as well. The only person I can talk to about anything. You mean a lot to me." she returned the lick with a soft friendly nudge with his muzzle.

Moth let her tail flick a few times, and let out a satisfied purr. Her purr ended at the sight of the beauiful sun. There was a stream near by, and because they were so quiet, that you could hear the rush of the water, and the crackling of leaves."Goldenpaw, forgive me, for anthing that must come, forgive me now please..." Her voice trailed off in her thoughts.

Goldenpaw looked at the rouge. He nodded, " I'd forgive you for anything. Right now, for always." He glanced at the water, the shimmering water reflecting to sun. It seemed to call to him. But he stayed. He stayed with his friend.

Moth stayed quiet, she didn't know what to say. Sh flicked her tail, and then sat down and curled her tail tightly around her snow white paws. Letting the scent of water surround her, she let her dark gold ears flick forward, as an idea popped in her head, "Goldenpaw, would you like to go hunting?"

The apprentance was feeling a little akword about the silence when she asked the question. "
Yes, I would love to!" he licked around his mouth for empathisis. The golden tom jumped up and began to listen intently. He wanted Moth to catch the first prey though, for some weird reason, he hung back a little.
