Amhaka strolled around, breathing the fresh air. Cocking her ears, she could just hear her Twoleg calling her. "Am-ha-ka! Here kitty-kitty-kitty! Chiiiiiiriiiii! Come kitties!" She also heard the kittypet food rattling into her dish. But she didn't care. She waited for her friends, walking in slow circles.

Chiri's ears pricked at the sound of the twoleg. He looked at amhaka. "Do you want to keep going, or should we go back?" he mewed.

Chiri purred in delight. He licked amhaka's ear affectionatley,"Ok then." As they both walked further the twoleg stopped calling them, and chiri heard a door shut.

Amhaka saw that tail twitch. She wasn't sure if it was meant for her, but she moved her tail to drape it over Chiri's paws.

Lucy hid a grin and caught Chiri's gaze. Nodding slightly, not feeling hurt, she started to edge away. "I think I'll just... Um..." she thought up something fast. "Oh, is that the Costello's calling me? I think it is... Byee!" With that awkward departure, Lulu bounded away towards her completely empty home, where no owners were. She sat on her fence, and the lonely feeling started to creep back over her. I wish I had a mate... |

Amhaka flicked her tail and ears in farewell to Lucy. "Bye Lu!" She smiled after her friend, then turned to Chiri. "So, um, do you want to walk?"
