[glow=orange,2,300]Savannahheart, a rogue witch was trained from apprentice to warrior, then next to first deputy, also known as The Protector, watched along the shoreline of a the stream as she layed down, relaxing her body from the work it has been put through. Rogues drank in the stream, but hardly, becasce they had now tooken over both ThunderClan, and ShadowClan giving them a lot of protection in the two clans. Enough to stay without being attacked.

Her wounds, witch were now scars, from fighting in the battles, showed up on the blurry reflecting as Savannahheart led her two shining sea blue orbs to the see through stream. It was a reflection of black ears, two black paws on the edge, a light ginger face witch was overpopulated with balck freckles, and sea blue orbs. Savannahheart wasn't groomed, but didn't notice that in the long, and wide stream of cool water.

With a stlightly swollen stomach, Savannahheart noticed the decrease in speed. It was harsh, but she tried not to think of it, nor anything related to it. Bending down, the spotted tabby took a short drink. Her mouth filled with cool liquid, and she thought of the two battles, and as it had been blood at one time that she had bit so hard into a cats body.

Just as she had watched him, Thorn watched her, but with a different intent. He was following Thistle's advice: find Savvanahheart. The grey tom watched her spotted form, took in her scent. Leaves rustled; the water moved. He gulped. Should he, could he go out there and talk to her? Slowly but surely, he crept from his hiding spot, whispering, "Savvanahheart? It's me."

Savannahheart turned to see Thorn. The blood witch had filled her mind went away. Anger still crawled deep within her systems trying to find a way to get out of the way, to turn the sea blue orbs into icey blue, but instead of any yelling, of hissing she thought she would do when she saw Thorn, it was a slight purr, that was so quiet, practically no one could here.

She met the sight of bloodshot orbs, witch then she reconized the green ones. How long has he been watching me? A distant question formed into her mind. But she didn't ask it, she just layed down her stomach couldn't be saw from a distance. Savannahheart couldn't find the words to say, it was to hard to say anything to him.

As she first met Thorn, it seemed like no one could be let in, and emotions would not ever show in her orbs, but as then, the emotions the swriled in them, left the sea blue colored circles, and turned into hard stones, like they were when she didn't meet him. It seemed again like no one could be let into her secrets.

"Hello Thorn. Was all Savannahheart let out of her mouth.[/glow]

Thorn had saw her stomach before she hid it, but he didn't show it. Slowly he crawled over to lay beside her, sadness in his eyes. No more tears made their way out as he blinked; he was dry and done crying. " I'm...sorry." He meowed. "For leaving you, I mean. I shouldn't have, and I'm sorry."

Savannahheart watched him crawl over as if he was scared to get up close. Her first thoguht of what to say was, 'Can you walk?' but didn't, because she caught her tongue just in tome before she made the mean joke.

Where did you go? She wanted to say indeedly, so bad, but didn't. It was hard having a mate, but no relationship, for she could tell he was sorry, and wanted to have the same relationship the once had, but Savannahheart didn't know if she could let him in again, like they were once. Not knowing what to say, after he apolgized more then once, she just mewed, "It's done, so let's move on." Her voice wasn't surrounded with all the pain she felt for being mean Thorn. He hadn't done anything to her, but she just made her voice painless.[/glow]

Thorn sighed in relief. She didn't hate him! But a feeling gnawed at him, one of guilt. He knew he could never forgive himself for leaving her, and the sadness never left his eyes. Just once, just once he wished he could do something right. First he had ran away from ThunderClan, from his family. Then he had lost Thistle as a lover, but he felt no pain from that. Now he had left his mate. Was he forgiven? "Is there something you wish to tell me, Savvanahheart?" He murmured. His voice didn't carry blame, like it would've if she had been another cat. But she wasn't. It carried love.

Gradully looking up into his dark green orbs, there was nothing in her eyes that showed anything. The sweetness carried inside her head was fighting against a anger that wasn't growing, but was just powerful enough to keep her from saying anything that would give him a hint.

"No. Why do you ask." Her voice was as flat as the thunderpath between ShadowClan and ThunderClan.

"Nothing, really." He answered, taking a drink from the river. The cool water slipped down his throat, and it felt so good. "Just...the way you're acting." He could feel the tears welling up again; he didn't let them. " We used to be so close, didn't we?" He voiced his opinion quietly, cautiously. He knew he tread on thin ice; he didn't want it to break. "What happened to us, my love?"

It wasn't that long since they first met. Thorn and Thistle came from ThunderClan and Savannahheart moved her loyalty from a rogue, up to the firrst deputy. Back thenn all Savannahheart thought was her world revovled around killing, fighting, rogues, and taunting, and then there was another choice. Then there was Thorn, a calm kind old ThunderClan warrior, he was new, and very polite to everyone. His temper was greatly evened, and by the looks of it Thistle was in love with Thorn as will, for the way they were so close. As time went Savannahheart and Thorn became very close, and just before they started loving eachother Talon came, and Thistle became fond of him. It seemed to be a happily ever after for all of them.
And then Rogues and BloodClan untided. Thorn left, Thistle was who knows where, and Savannahheart became preganet with a litter of kits she didn't even want. What happened to us? She thought, and then mewed in a flat, tone, "Change."

Thorn went over the first time they had met; 2 moons before, when he and Thistle had walked into camp, Loyalists and ready to fight. When he ahd first laid eyes on the spotted she-cat and how a spark had come up between them. How they had had a love he thought could never go away...and it did. "Change..." He repeated. "But why? Why did there have to be change? Why couldn't we have stayed like we once were forever?"

Savannahheart could not; would not bring herself to look into Thorn's green orbs, so she turned away, "Thorn... you should know love doesn't alway find it's way through the way of life. Take a look at ours for instance, it was going is well, and then it stopped dead, right in the middle of two choices, one is forget and move on, and the other is go back before we even met. If you look at me, I didn't let anyone in my little world of death before you two came into the camp, and it wasn't so hard, but now, it's so complicated, look at me! I'm pre-" Savannahheart stopped herself before reveiling anything to Thorn, "Preyed with thoughts in my head I do not understand." Her sea blue orbs glanced at Thorn with ease after she finished speaking, and then moved them from his chest to his eyes.

As she spoke, she knew it was the truth, but didn't want it to be. Savannahheart loved Thorn so very much, but did it have to end like this, or could she make this work between themselves?

Another sigh escaped Thorn's tired body. It told him to lie down, take a nap, hope to StarClan he would wake up and everything would be back to normal. He took a deep breath, saying, "Nothing can ruin love, though. Nothing can break it. Have..." Another deep breath. "Have I ever told you of my sisters? You know I came from ThunderClan, but I have family there. Nightpaw and Cloudkit are their names. For all I know, they could both be warriors by now..." He didn't know how right he was. "But the point is, even though I haven't seen them for moons, I still love them. Like I love you." The grey tom licked his mate's ear with great care, letting his words sink in.

Panting, and panicking, Savannahheart looked to the ground and mewed, "I have to go!" Before an answer, the spotted she-cat ran. It was hard though... with the circuliar stomach.[/glow]
