It was a snowy night as a gray tabby she cat slowly walked threw the snow, her green eyes shimmering slightly as she watched the stars above.
StarClan...the ansestors of the forest...guardians of each and every cat...the helpers of those who wish guidance...yet you are silent...
The she-cat walked slowly into a clearing, where the stars were clearly seen.
What reason do you have...for forsaking me? What sin have I committed that warrents your rage and anger?
A smell came to the she-cat's nose as she closed her green eyes. It was a formilliar smell, a smell of blood. She opened her eyes slightly glanceing downward to see scarlet drops on the snow below her. Again, the scar on her face had opened.
"Where do I belong?! WHY DO YOU TORMENT ME!!!" she screeched out into the sky. There was no movement...no sound as the she-cat stared into the sky. Emeraldeye stared at the sky as she seemed to sreech out angerly.

Ivypaw's vibrant amber eues looked at all the snow falling around her. The white flikes dotted her calico pelt and the frozen dust whirled around her feet. a scar lay across her chest from being hit by the twoleg monster a few moons ago. Her paws moved rythmically as the stars glittered beautifully above.
Ivypaw closed her eyes for a brief secong remembering the moment. Th eShadowclan she-cat. the monster. they were going to collide but ivypaw pushed the cat out of the way and got herself hit. The pain was horrid and she could still remember the light coming from the monster's cold eyes.
A screech disrupted her thoughts and Ivypaw gave a light whimper. Was a cat hurt? Then she thought again...what if it was near the Thunderpath. The calico patterened she-cat padded quickly towards where the sound came from. Her right paw was lifted up as Ivypaw limped forward--just another injury she sustained during the incident. as the apprentice stuck her head through the bushes she saw another she-cat. Ivypaw knew she was a thunderclanner but she hadn't really met the cat.
Ivypaw twitched her tail and then padded out with her small limp and then sat down. Her amber gems stared at the other cat.
"Hi...I'm Ivypaw, she meowed.

Emeraldeye stared at the sky after she had finished screeching out. She was quiet for a moment before suddenly hearing a sound of running. She turned her head seeing calico cat coming out of the shrubs and bushes. She stepped back, as if fearful, her eyes shifting from side to side. An apprentice... Emeraldeye bore her teeth as she narrowed her green eyes.
"Stay away!" she hissed as scarlet drops could be seen dripping down her face.

ivypaw's claws slid out as the cat told her to get away. Blood was leaking from her face and Ivypaw only wanted to help. her white claws sank in and out of the hard ground and a snowflake fell on her nose. She let out a small sneeze before looking with scared amber eyes at the cat.
Was she really a Thunderclanner? Maybe she was a loner that had been on Thunderclan's terra for a while. No the clanners would have scented her before then. it was wierd though. ivypaw had never seen a glimpse of this cat in her time living with Thunderclan. Ivy paw was about to speak when the scent of loner and blood wafted over her nose. The lithe she-cat's ears pricked towards the sound. She was exceptional at hearing things.
A tabby pelt glided around the two she-cats and chocolate brown eyes flickered through the shrubs covered in snow. The toms steps were only soft sighs but the apprentice had heard them. Poison let out a sigh and then stepped out of the bushes. His long claws gleamed with fresh and glossy adder poison. The snakes blood covered his paws and muzzle. A grin filled with malice was spread across poison's face.
The tabby looked at the apprentice that had wide eyes. His brown orbs gleamedand his fur was covered in snow. bloody paw prints came from where he had stepped and the scent of the sweet scarlet fluid filled his nose. 'Music To My Ears' he thought and then loked at the older she-cat. She was bleeding and could possibly be an easy target. first he would mess with the two and then let them get a taste of loner fight. This would be fun. The calico cat stared with scared eyes and Poison spoke.
"You mess with the snake you get bit kitty,"he mewed and then slid his dagger like claw a mouse length away from her nose, "And in this case I'm the adder. The scent of venom filled the air.

Emeraldeye's ears twiched suddenly as she heard the sound of another cat. She turned her head, her eyes narrowed and bore her teeth.
"An adder, you say! HAHA! You speak far to highly of yourself. Adders, are a pathetic creature that none should fear..." hissed Emeraldeye unsheathing her claws, showing a cruel and hostile spirit that had been in the depths of her heart. Her fur stood on end as she walked closer to the apprentice, her Thunderclan scent showing slightly. Coldly and hostilly, Emeraldeye's green eyes were fixed on the chocolate brown eyes of newcomer.
"...You...Ha...you make me laugh."

Ivypaw backed away from the she-cat and her amber eyes shown cold fear. his pelt was on end. Before the monster hit her she was an adenturous and fun cat but after then she was a quiet and scared cat. it seemed like everything was out to get her. the calico she-cat wished her mentor was here. Flightfall would get the loner away and tell the crazy she-cat what to do.
Poison's eyes glowed a light brown color under the lights of the stars. the tabby tom had a smug expression on his face and his pelt blew lightly with the wind. The cat said he made her laugh. Ha, he made her laugh. poison gave a mroww of amusement and then was talking.
"I make you laugh huh. Thats a bit odd. You were the one yowling to the sky. There is nothing up there. stupid clanners...when you die your gone stupid cat. No cat is going to tell you what to do if you try communicating to the stars. That is what an insane feline does. Listen to me...your going to go crazy if you believe in that nonsence."

"At least I have a belief, pigeon-brain." she spat in retaliation. She moved so that she was next to the apprentice, gesturing with her tail to get behind her. The scar on the side of her face was still bleeding as her green eyes remained fixed on the cat.
"You are a no-good-Foxdung-brained imbecile...PERHAPS...I am crazy...and maybe...I DON'T CARE, you moronic weaking! You think that you can bet me...You are a fool." hissed Emeraldeye her claws all the way unsheathed.

Ivypaw's muli-colored pelt was behind a bush one minute and then behind the tabby she-cat the next. Her heart pounded in her chest. What if the loner attacked the she-cat? She would be in trouble then. Ivypaw had to get help...but she didn't want to leave the warrior alone. She edged close to the other clanner's ear and then spoke.
"Should i go to camp and get help?"Ivypaw's voice was but a small whisper. She edged close to the she-cat warrior. ivypaw was afraid. She was afriad of everything nowadays. she would never be made a warrior if she kept acting like this.
Poison jus tlet out a hearty laugh as the she-cat spoke with anger towards him. Loners got that alot. the tabby tom eyed the apprentice with interested eyes as she spoke to the warrior. The tabby warrior looked distracted listening to the apprentice so poison knew what to do.
His tabby pelt disappeared into the bracken as the tom slid into the vegitation. His brown orbs watched the two cats and his tai lflicked lightly. The apprentice was still talking and Poison seemed to drift over the snow as he padded behind the two cats. Now was time to strike.
Poison's claws slid out as silent as the falling snow and he crouched down. Brown opticals fixed on the warrior she-cat the tom prepared to kill. With a light flick of a striped tail poison leaped. His body glided through the air and his claw swere extended...almost apon the warriors exposed neck.

Emeraldeye was about to reply when she heard the sound of movement behind her. Her eyes jumped up noticing that the loner wasn't there anymore. She turned as she rolled to the side quickly. The tips of the loner's claws passed within mousesteps from her nose. Snow was everywhere as she stood up from the roll. Instantly her eyes went into small slits.
"Ivypaw, RUN! GET OUT OF HERE!" she ordered as she started to circle Poison. Quickly, Emeraldeye rushed forward, her claws fully out as she rushed forward. However, a mere tail length from the loner, Emeraldeye instantly verred to the right with extreme speed and attempted to strike the loner's right side.

Ivypaw let out a small squeak as the loner jumped from the bushes behind them. it looked as if he was coming for her but leaped above towards the warrior. The calico she-cat heard strict orders from emeraldeye and leaped trough the bushes. The scar on her chest hurt with all of Starclan as she ran towards the camp. The she-cat apprentice then was flying through the air. She landed with a thump on the ground.
As she landed Ivypaw looked behind to see a tree root now revealed from beneith the snow. She was lying on her side and a bit of blood trickled from her right leg. The cat tried to stand up but fell with a thump. Ivypaw's amber eyes looked to the twinkling stars--they seemed to urge her on.
"Starclan! Help me! Help me please!"Ivypaw wailed out to her ancestors shining above.
poison saw the she-cat dodge his attack and turn with amazing speed to slash his side. the tabby let out a hiss and then his white paws were planted on the ground. The warrior's claws scored his side slightly and a few drops of blood splattered to the ground. Poison looked at her with joyous brown eyes. This battle was only beginning.
Poison lifted his white paws from the solid ground and turned around. his back legs kicked up a puff of snow and he burt out of it towards the cat. The powder had acted like a smoke screen and hopefully disorented the cat some. poison's tainted claws slashed out at the other feline's face with great speed and strength.

Emeraldeye was about to attack again when cold, white dust-like snow flew up, obstructing her visions as the wind picked up, disrupting her hearing.
Oh foxdung...Where is he?...Ivypaw...I hope you have gotten help, because, I feel that this is going to get far worse...
Her eyes opened wide as she saw Poison's claws coming straight at her. Instantly she tried to move out of the way, however, Poison had moved to quickly, and she had very little time to react. She lowered her body, planting her back legs to push her back, making her fall backwards, so that it exposed her belly. The claws grazed Emeraldeye's forehead, cutting the surface lightly. It stung badly as the She-cat's eyes showed only rage and anger do to the clever trick Poison had done. However, this setted up Emeraldeye's retaliation attack. Her back legs were now in front of her, and she attempted to use her handles to knock him back.

Poison's tabby pelt was a flash but seemed to go in slow motion as she she-cat clannie kicked into him. His body thudded into a heap on the ground. His breathing slowed. Poison's chocolate hued eyes were slitted into tiny gaps of slyness. He knew this was an easy trick--any smart cat wouldn't fall for it but a clanner with her head into fighting mode could.
His breathing came in short raspy breaths. The tom's pelt was ruffled in clumps with snow powdered over top. His voice was hollow as it seeped from his lips.
"You will die she-cat. You will regret clawing my pelt."Poison coughed fakely but believably. He waited for the other cat to fall into his trick.

Emeraldeye bore her teeth as she stood up. She narrowed her green eyes. She might have been a full blooded warrior that had most of her skills in fighting, but she was smart enough to approach the warrior. He was luring her in, and she knew she couldn't depend on her strength to win.
Suddenly, she felt dizzy and weak, her paws feeling as if they ran many, many fox-lengths. Quickly she shook her head as scarlet drops hit the ground. The weakness seemed to grow as she stepped backwards. Her eyes felt hot as if they were burning.
Wh...What was on that cat's claws? Emeraldeye staggered in her steps, kicking the snow behind her in an almost disorianted manner. She shook her head again trying to focus. The poison on Poison's claws were affecting her, however, it was a extremely minor blow, enough for non-lethal affects.
"...Wh...What....?" she muttered as she looked up, her vision blurry.
By StarClan sake, were are those other Warriors?...If what ever was on those claws are what I think it was, then I might be in trouble.

Sharkfang lurched forward in the white powdery snow, feeling more free than he had in a while. His beautiful pelt seemed to stand out against al lthe white and grey and black like a star in the sky. He was completely care-free, thoughtless and free-- Until he heard a cry. His eyes flashed, and he ran full speed to whre it was ocming from.
"Emeraldeye!" He cried, running forward to back her up from the loner standing near him.

One hazy eye blinked, open, as if suddenly awakened. Meer. She dashed through the snow without second thought, searching for her baby, her other little child, Poison. He'd always been so small, so cute, and so precious to her. Not like one of her kits, she was always too stubborn with him for that. She taste the poison in the air. There was a reason she named him Poison.
"Poison! Where are you?" She called out, not checking the ground to feel where he was. Even if he called from where he was, she wouldn't hear him, couldn't smell him.

Emeraldeye stood her ground shaking her head feircely as wave and wave of dizzyness came. She couldn't focus as snow seemed to fall in slow motion. She didn't feel cold at all, in fact she felt hot, as if her body was on fire. For a moment, everything glowed white as she saw a figure in front of her.
Soulheart...Is that you?
She heard a yell which snapped her out of the state she was in. She didn't know the warrior who was by herside. Emeraldeye looked at Poison, fear not even glazed over her eyes, only a look of determination, and rage. She found the strength to focus again. She growled hostilly, showing her teeth, circling the loner.

Poison was about to let out a laugh at the stumbling cat and claw at her ears for a little bit when he heard a cry from the darkness. Meer. The tabby tom's brown orbs flicked open as he heard her. She sounded...distressed. Poison's claws flexed. Meer would be fine, just fine. His ears flicked over as he heard her call out again. Something wasn't right. Meer was always confident it seemed. She-she had to be alright. She had mothered Poison ever since that cold spring night on the loner terra.
Poison's chocolate opticals flickered over to the shadows. Meer and the dark abyss were both calling to him. His eyes twisted over to the warriors. He most likely couldn't fight the two and if they hurt Meer it seemed like she might get hurt easier. Poison hissed and then turned and thudded towards Meer. As Poison reached a sand hued pelt his paws dipped in and out of the snow quickly.
"Meer?", He whispered and looked at her. Poison touched her shoulder with his tail when she didn't respond.

Meer bared her fangs at Poison, not in anger, but to show she was ready.
"Poison... Don't you be getting into trouble or I'll tear those claws out." She growled, letting out a rusty purr. Her eye narrowed playfully at him, and she turned to the clan kitties, her fur prickling in anger.
"I see we're all old nough here to 'catch our own prey', so do tell me, what were you doing messing with a loner?" She growled, her eye locking onto Emeraldeye.

Emeraldeye felt feverous as she took deep breaths as she saw Poison run off. She could only see shadows moving quickly around her. She went down low, her head pounding in pain. Her eyes felt heavy, her paws even heavier. After a moment she went down full, half awake half asleep. She never slept, normally passing out was the only form of sleep she could get. Nightmares haunted her dreams, making her fearfull to ever venture into them.
"...I...tir...ed..." she said weakly. "...Med...get.....Med...." She collapsed to the ground.

Poison's glanced at Meer and then flicked his brown pools away. She would be fine-besides the clanner was feeling the affects of the adder poison. It wouldn't kill her though, the venom had come off in the snow. The tom's tabby peltage was buffeted by a cold wind and his paws seeped into the fluffy snow. Clanners were so stupid, they were way to easy to beat. Poison flicked his tail towards Emeraldeye.
So what are we going to do with this one Meer?"

Thick sunlight dripped innocently through the trees, dappling the snow with heavy shadows that flickered as the wind blowed. A few bushed lurched as a strong gale rushed in at them, sending a torrent of pine needle rushing to litter the frosty ground. Snakecoil slipped between the heavy undergrowth, thinned by winter. His dark brown pelt melded with the bark of the trees, and his long tail was like a vine, tipped with a brush of ice. His narrow yellow eyes slitted in a ray of light, and the snow crunched thickly underfoot. So far, his day had been practically boring, and as he clawed the ground, his shoulders flexed, showing lean muscle.
Suddenly, pricking his ears, a voice met him like the sound of glass splintering and crashing across a floor of stone. Sharkfang! His brother, and he was calling a name. Speeding up, he could now make up other voices, many....some unfamiliar. A snarl formed on his lips, whoever harmed a member of Thunderclan would pay. As her broke into a small clearing, his long, snake fang-like claws slid instinctively from their sockets, and he bared his long, pointed fangs. " Hey, you! Get away from Emeraldeye...now." |

"...Mother....Mother." Emeraldeye wimpered quietly as she tried to find the strength to get up. The poison in her veins had started to effect her head as she saw other cats that were not really their. There was nine, all of them had their bright eyes fixed on her, each one seeming to be each color of the world. One with green eyes walked forward touching Emeraldeye's nose.
Stand, my child, stand for those whom are children of StarClan, stand and be strong. Listen to the Warrior heart beating in your chest. Don't give up now...you are so close. Listen...Do you hear it?
Emeraldeye opened her eyes more as she forced herself to try and stand, her paws feeling as if they hard stones weighing them down. She looked up slowly her green eyes narrowed as she stood. She weakly glanced over to Snakecoil after hearing his voice.
