Orangekit watched Sleepkit attack the fox- well, more like two Sleepkits attack two foxes. Her vision was getting strange, and she felt even dizzier. The world seemed to be spinning around her. Her blood roared in her ears.

I must've hit my head when I fell... she thought to herself, staggering a little. Her vision cleared for a moment, seeing Sleepkit running over to her. Just barely she saw the dead fox in the background.

"You, okay? "

Orangekit tried to stand tall, not wanting to seem weak. But her head was spinning rapidly now, everything appearing in a blurr. She could only barely hear Sleepkit's voice.

"I-I'm fine," she lied, gritting her teeth in pain.

" Come on, you don't look good, lean on me as we walk back to camp." Sleepkit helped Orangekit up. Sleepkit then thought of Eclipsekit, again. He thought he had pushed that away but he hadn't. Then he asked,"Do you know that cat I was talking about last time before we attacked the fox?"

Orangekit nodded, leaning on Sleepkit's shoulder. Her head still spun, her head still felt light. But again she pushed it away. She at least needed to make it back to camp, then she could faint or pass out or whatever her light-headedness meant.

In response to Sleepkit's question, Orangekit shook her head. "No, I dont think so." she replied in a soft voice.

Sleepkit sighed when he knew that now he had to tell Orangekit about her." Her name is Eclipsekit, she's six moons old like me, same age, we were best friends for a moon, but then she left Thunderclan and joined Windclan. I was devastated. i couldn'y sleep or eat at all. But, Lately, I've.......gone to Fourtrees to meet her.I know its disloyal to see other cats in different clans, but i miss her so much that i couldn't just let her go." Sleepkit waited for orangekit's reply.

Orangekit wasn't sure what to say. Being rogue-born, she'd always tried to live by the Warrior Code to show cats that she was loyal. But Sleepkit had said that he was close with Eclipsekit, and if they were just meeting... well, it didn't seem like it could cause any harm.

"I...If..." Orangekit stammered. "I think that if you're just meeting... and not sharing clan secrets or something, you're not doing any harm." That was true. Just meeting with an old friend couldn't cause any harm.. could it?

"I know, but its still unloyal..." Frustration and confuzzion made Sleepkit's heart skip a beat." I just wish Eclipskit didn't leave...then I wouldn't be torn between clan and my best friend... Sleepkit burst into tears again. STOP! crying....you still she her....stop lettin it get to you.

Even with Orangekit's slightly blurred vision, she could faintly see the tears falling down Sleepkit's face. She gave her friend a comforting lick on the ear, unsure of what to say. She'd never been in a situation when she was torn with loyalty- never would she be loyal to the rogues. Orangekit could think of nothing to say.

"What do you want?" Orangekit mewed. "Think about that. The clan cares about you Sleepkit, but so does Eclipsekit. Which one do you think is best for you? Her voice sounded a little lighter, almost like she wasn't there. In a way, she wasn't. She was zoning out, blackness starting to overcome her vision.

Sleepkit thought ahrd for what seemed like a moon, he said," Eclipsekit...." Sleepkit thought Orangekit might be mad at him for wanting to be with another clan cat more than his home clan." But, I can't leave Thunderclan...I Dont Know!" Sleepkit sat down and put his head on the ground.

Orangekit sat beside Sleepkit, relief seeming to flood through her head from not standing up. She had, and hadn't in a way, been surprised with Sleepkit's answer. It was obvious that he really did care for Eclipsekit. But she wasn't sure how she could help him. Orangekit wanted him to be happy and that was that.

"You know you don't have to decide right here, right now," she mewed softly. Suddenly her vision grew cloudy, and what she'd expected to happen happened.

Orangekit blacked out.

" Well, I'm going to have to eventually choose......" Sleepkit mind was wrathing with pain as he thought of the decision. Suddenly, Sleepkit realized that Orangekit had blacked out. She'll recover soon.I'll go get some food.Sleepkit got up...stalked a mouse, killed it and returned to the spot where Orangekit was.

Orangekit's eyes opened a few moments later, her head hurting like mad. She blinked a couple times, relieved to actually be able to see again. Yet her head felt like it would explode, and then she remembered the wounds she and Sleepkit had recieved from the fox. How long did it take for wounds to become infected? Her mind continued to race, until she saw Sleepkit arrive with a mouse in his jaws.

"You're awake, good, good." Sleepkit sat next to Orangekit and let her eat first. He thought of the Choice he would have to make sooner or later, but he pushed it away." I'm going to go get some Marigold for our infections..."

Orangekit nodded, slowly getting her head back. "If you can find some," Orangekit mewed. "I'm not sure where they can be found during leafbare." She shrugged though, taking a bite of the mouse.

Sleepkit nodded back and headed into the forest in search of marigold. It only took Sleepkit a minute to find a small clump of the healing herb. He snatched the pile of marigold into his mouth and padded back to Orangekit. About three fox tails away from the clearing where Orangekit ate, Sleepkit scented an unfamiliar smell.It better not be a fox again, we've already taken one today, I'm not sure if we could take on another.Sleepkit sprinted to Orangekit and started applying the marigold on her cuts and infections." I think something's watching us" he whispered into Orangekit's ear..

Orangekit winced as she felt the Marigold on her wounds. It stung slightly, she knew it would though. At Sleepkit's words, her blood suddenly ran cold. Her pelt prickled uneasilly, and she too suddenly scented an unfamilliar scent. Her heart thudded in her chest, immediately feeling like someone was watching.

"What do you think we should do?" she asked, standing up on wobbly legs.

Ariona stalked through the shadows, moving in a slightly clumsy way thanks to her only having three legs. Her orange eyes peered through the darkness, staring not at a piece of prey, but at two young kits.

The two kits were already injured apparently. Just from their scent she knew that they were ThunderClan. She wrinkled her nose at the thought. Clanners, so annoying. Yet these two appeared different. Already they had gotten into a fight with something- or someone else.

Stepping out of the shadows, Ari let out a low hiss.[/size]

Sleepkit smelled the fear scent come off of Orangekit as the loner appeared. Sleepkit turned around to see in front of him a three-legged, orange-eyed, tortoiseshell she-cat hissing at them. Sleepkit immediantly got into a defensive crouch and growled back at this unwanted loner." Get out of our territory loner...or we'll make you" Sleepkit half wished he hadn't of said that last part but, it was true. He knew Orangekit was in no state to fight and he alone couldn't take on a full grown cat.

Orangekit let out a low growl, trying to appear brave, though she was really terrified. Already she and Sleepkit had faced a fox, and both of them still needed time to recover. This loner looked angry, and Orangekit wasn't sure how she would react to a couple kits telling her off.

"Y-Yeah," Orangekit hissed. "It's two against one, you can't win."

Ariona[/b]

Ariona laughed at the two kits, her voice slightly cold. She turned to Sleepkit, orange eyes narrowed.

"You'll, make me? I'd love to see you try." she flicked her tail at each of them. "You're both injured, and trust me, just because I only have three legs doesn't mean I can't fight."

Ariona particularly hated ThunderClan more then any other clan. This is the clan where just barely a moon ago, a small battle raged between a patrol and a group of loners. It was all started when her mother confronted some strange ThunderClan cat, and ended with her father being taken prisoner.

Sleepkit wasn't going to let this flea-bitten loner tell a Clanner what to do." Oh, really, and what are you going to say to my Clan and your clan IF you kill me. To me, that wouldn't help anyone, especially loners. Personally, you can't attack me...but we can attack you, we have permission to drive of any unwanted cats. You can't because you know that if you do, your just getting the loners into a deep trouble which will end in a battle.So, what do you say, attack me and get your kind killed, or not and save your own and yourself?"Sleepkit didnt lie about any of this. He was no coward.

Ariona laughed scornfully, her neck fur rising. "Silly, silly kit. The battle has already begun. You and I both know that there will be a battle between the loners and the clanners, and we also know who will win. And I know I can't attack you," her eyes flashed. "But I can take you both as prisoners to the loners.

Ariona let out a low growl, her claws sliding through their sheathes. Her eyes went bak and forth from each kit, knowing that she was probably egging them on. She wanted them to attack first.

"Y-You wouldn't take us prisoner!" she hissed, though her legs were trembling. Something about loners and rogues made her nervous, even more then badgers- though she now was more weary of foxes.

Sleepkit's hope vanished instantly as the loner said prisoner.Sleepkit whispered into Orangekit's ear," She wants us to attack her. We can't be held prisoners. We need to get out of here now!"Sleepkit then turned to face the wise loner," Ok then loner, we will not attack you as long as you leave immediantly. And yes, the battle has already begun. O, and don't worry, your father will be cared of in Thunderclan...Think I didn't know that the prisoner we have in camp was your father. Well something about you reminds me of him.I swear to Starclan...We will not attack you or hurt your father if you leave now."

Orangekit looked at Sleepkit warningly. Something in the back of her mind told her that they shouldn't have brought that up. She watched as the loner's eyes flashed, and her pelt started bristling more and more. Orangekit felt herself shaking.

"We really should get out of here..." she mewed softly.

Ariona

Ariona's eyes flashed angrilly. Her pelt bristled, her claws digging into the ground. So many mixed emotions flew through her right then, she had to struggle to not claw both those kits' heads off then and there. But she didn't, yet the rage shown clearly in her eyes.

"You better shut your mouth now, foxdung," she growled. Her eyes moved from Sleepkit to Orangekit, then back to Sleepkit. "If you and your friend want to make it out of here alive."

" I'll shut my mouth when you show me your tail between your legs heading back to your camp, foxdung!"Sleepkit's rage was almost overwhelming. Sleepkit's instincts told him to shred the cat to pieces, but logic told him to try to keep calm." If I were a little bit bigger, you would be DEAD by now. And you know what...no one would care." Sleepkit tryed to get the loner to attack them without actually trying to.

Ariona

Ariona growled, her claws digging into the wet snow. They scraped across the ice, creating a loud, irritating sound. Lashing her tail, Ari looked Sleepkit straight in the eye.

"No one would care? I have more cats that care about me then you will in your lifetime," Ari hissed coldly. "Don't think I don't see what you're doing. You're trying to get me to attack first, but that won't happen. I've gone through moons of training- you're a kit. I know that attacking kits is bad, but if that kit attacks first.." she took another menacing step closer to the kits.

Orangekit

Orangekit growled, her claws unsheathing as well. She could tell that this wouldn't end well, and she knew eventually one cat would attack. She wanted to be there to help Sleepkit when either him or Ari attacked.

Sleepkit was getting frustrated with this loner so much that he stepped closer to the loner, too, almost challenging her." Kill me, I don't care((dont really)), If we fight your going home with some scars to remind you..."Sleepkit's words were firm and steady. Sleepkit now stared directky into the loners eyes now.Sleepkit's voice was taunting now." Attack me now why don't you, the one behind me's too injured so you would easily take her, but me, you'll have some trouble with."

Ariona simply smiled, shaking her head as if disappointed. This kit was asking for it. Yet something caught her interest. The kit wanted to fight, when most kits would've run away. Interesting. Maybe she could test this...

Ariona backed up a few steps. "Yes, you would be much more difficult to kill. But what if I wasn't up for a challenge today, what if I wanted to get the easy one out of the way first?" she looked behind Sleepkit at Orangekit, then back at Sleepkit "Now that I think about it, if I got rid of the easier one, it'd make it just a tiny bit easier to get rid of you as well," she growled, her claws forcefully digging into the ice.

[siez=1]" If you even sniff that one over there, I swear to Starclan, nothing would hold me back! And if you get rid of her, it'll just make me more angry at you, which will drive me harder, which will make YOU lose." Sleepkit snickered then raced over to Orangekit's side to protect her.[/size]

Ariona

Ariona didn't say anything. She simply sat there, plotting her next move. Attacking the little orange kit would enrage the other cat, but would it matter? Though Ari wasn't the best fighter, she wasn't going to back down. Calmly she stood back up, walking toward the little orange kit.

She raised her paw, almost like she was going to strike at her, but she didn't strike. Would this cat see through her taunt?

Orangekit watched the scene before her with frightened eyes. Things didn't get much better when the loner walked over to her, raising her paw. Standing tall, Orangekit let out a low hiss.

"Get away!" she hissed, swiping at Ariona. It didn't seem to have an affect. Orangekit backed up a few steps.

Sleepkit jumped in front of Orangekit and stared scornfully at the loner."You heard her, Get away!" Sleepkit unsheathed his claws and dug them into the frozen ground." i know you're trying to get me to attack and I'm well on my way to, and you know that."Sleepkit backed away from the loner as Orangekit did and whispered." Get back to camp, now...get back-up if possible...I'm going to have to fight this one."

Orangekit shook her head. If she left, who knew what would happen? At least if she was there, she could help. But Sleepkit had knowlege with what he said. At least if she got backup, they'd definitely be safe. But if she left...

With a sigh, Orangekit nodded. "Please be careful," she whispered, turning and running back to camp as fast as her paws could carry her.

Ariona

Ariona watched the kit run off with cold, yet pleased eyes. So far, so good. "Now it's just you and me, kitty," she growled.

Sleepkit watched Orangekit run off to camp, thankful for her understanding. Sleepkit then turned to face the three-legged loner and said,"This'll be easier for me now because I have no other weakness here since she left AND since you won't attack me and she'll be coming with back-up and I'm surely not going to attack you. You lose. I just have to wait till some warriors come to get you out of here. So, either attack me now and then get chased off, OR wait then get chased off. You decide."
