Hawkwing sat at the entrance of the warrior's den. The sun was coming down over the erizon and he wanted to take in ever second of it. It turned the sky orange and gold. He sighed. He wondered where is little sister was. Probably off with her mate. She is spending so much time with him latly! he thought, angerly.

[Frostfur]

Feathertail trotted off, her swollen stomach gave her small waddle to her walk, she suddenly spotted, one of the warriors she had seen earlier, "hawkwing?" she mewed as she walked up to him, "are you okay?" she meowed and sat down looking at the beautiful horizon, she licked her silver tabby fur making it glimmer.

Ya. he meowed, sighing. I am fine. he added. He turned his head to look at Feathertail. He saw her swollen belly and looked away quickly. It almost made him sad. He didn't know why, but he was jealous, jealous that she had a mate. He wished he had one, but Sunheart was never around. He sighed.

[Frostfur]

"What? you looked at me like you thought I was a twoleg... Oh... just ate to much of fresh kill, I have been eating to much rabbit lately" she mewed, "are you sure your okay, you seem like, erh... are you sure?" she meowed and licked his shoulder in a motherly comforting motion, "Please tell me, your not okay, you have something troubling you" she meowed again, and thought back to her sad and depressing life.

Hawkwing didn't know what to say. He knew there was something wrong with Frostfur, and it wasn't eating to much. I am fine, I am just worried about you. he meowed. He cared for Frostfur alot, and wanted to know if she was alright. He licked her face, in a friendly way.

[Frostfur]

Feathertail purred, "I'm okay,I've just been feeling a little down that's all, and you know how you have just lost someone, and you can't get over it, it's just that same sad feeling, I've had it for awhile, and it's just made me look like a kitty-pet, that's all" she meowed and smiled at hawkwing, she purred as her friend sat there watching the beautiful sunset, but a sudden pan gof sadness hit her, this was kingdomstreak's and feathertail's favorite time, where they would sit and talk for hours, while just watching it, feathertail shook her head, then thought of kujostream, and then hawkwing, she was going insane, "Hawkwing where's your mate, I haven't seen her in a while" she meowed trying to block kingdomstreak out of her mind, and on with the future.

Uh... he sighed. i don't really have one, exsactly. he meowed.

"Wha? I thought you did, what happened to her?... I just can't stand this any longer hawkwing, Every cat in Riverclan breaks up and then somthing happens, what is wrong, with the picture, I'm here and I'm so alone in the world, now that kingdom was gone, I just can't find happiness anymore, it's like shattering before my eyes, just sitting her reminds me so much of what we did, and I can't stop thinking about it, but I know that your sister loves kingdom and he loves her more than life it's self, it just seems heart breaking, when something happens like that, and frankly your the only friend in Riverclan that is there, I jsut want a cat just like kingdom to come along, and it's just...just so..." she stopped and needed the ground tears welling up into her eys, "I hate my life hawkwing, and there are limited cats in there that are actually comunicating with me" feathertail made a grunting sound and squinted her eyes, and bent her head, and haunched her sholders up, hawkwing was sorta like a brother, but better a best friend.

Hawkwing stared at her for a momment. He rubbed his tabby bodice against her's. Frostfur, don't cry. he meowed, licking her across the face. He looked at her with his amber eye's. He knew Frostfur was just a friend, but sometimes he wished they were closer then that. He sighed. He placed his muzzle over her's. Life's not fare. he meowed, never taking his eyes off of her. I know. he added, licking her across the cheek. But sometimes you just have to forget and forgive. I know you still care for Kingdomestreak, but love has to take it's own course. He might not love you the same way you love him, but he still cares about you and still wants you to be his friend. his voice was calm when he spoke to her.

"I know, I just wish that my old life was here, and there wasn't so much confusion, I wanted to stay with kingdom, but I guess I wasn't up to his propective, but I guess being alone, and having kujostream, walk around and follow you is okay" she mewed, and gave a small laugh, "But, I just wish..." she trailed off staring at his orbs, their faces toching, she saw the gentle gaze staring at her, she felt warmth, seep inside her, and happiness, flowing, she knew hawkwing cared for her, but she bever knew that her cared for her so much, "Hawkwing.... I....erh...." she trailed off making eye contact, then she bent her head, Oh feathertail you big woos, why can't you just me strong with toms for once, Feathertail thought to ferself, She felt comfortable sittin ghere with him and watching the sun go down, she smiled at the thought, and moved just a little closer to him, to where their body's slmost touched, "Hawkwing, do you......" she trailed off again and lost the thought, "Never mind,.... my life has always gone down hill, and after the sudden relationship I had, it just tore at the sorest part of me, and.... and" she trailed off meeting eye contact with him again she saw him with new eyes, as if she wanted to be with hawkwing, even though he was alot older than she was, there was just something she wanted to be so close, he tail slowly flicked up and down, and moved closer to hawkwing's. (Gosh that was long)

Hawkwing stared at her for what seemed like hours. He inched closer to her. Sunheart is going to be so mad. he thought. They weren't really mates, but he felt closer to her. But Hawkwing also couldn't help himself when he was around Feathertail. He could feel her warm breath on his face as he looked at her, their faces close. He looked into her orbs and felt like he was melting. She is so pretty.. he thought, still looking at her. I know. he meowed. He twined his tail around hers. He didn't know why but it felt right at the momment.

Oh kujo was going to kill me feathertail thought, "This doesn't feel right, hawkwing, kujostream loves me, I don't know what to do" she meowed softly, and pulled away bending her head down, if she was ever caught with him like this, even though she felt warm around him, like she use to with kingdomstreak, she would be betraying kujostream, and her promise, "I know this is a shock, but I like you hawkwing, but we can't be together, this isn't right, kujo loves, and we both have mates, and, o my starclan, I want to be with you but my heart belongs somewhere else, and you have a mate" she meowed looking at him, she felt torn, she loved him and kujostream, and kingdom still, but had to let him go, she loved both cats, so much, "I would love to be with you, and have kits with you, but it's not meant to be" seh said so softly she was sure that hawkwing would only make out only a few words, "I know, I want to be your friend, but my heart is with someone, at the moment, and I would love to keep seeing you, but this isn't right" she mewed.

Hawkwing's heart broke in two. He turned from her, as a tear went down it. He didn't want her to see he was crying. Still with his back turned, he whispered. Feathertail, I love you so much and I want to be with you.. he looked at her, tears streaming down. I love you more then Sunheart. he meowed. He couldn't believe he had said it, but it was true. He couldn't dare face her again, he turned from her, once more.

"We can still see each other, we can secretly, so no one knows, , I understand, just please, I don't want to be broken again, I like you too, we have to just live with this, it hurts, I care about you too, but let's keep this away from anything else that will harm what we have." Feathertail mewed, and faced him seeing his amber eyes melt with tears, she licked his cheek gently, "I love you too, we need to keep this away from Riverclan and any other clan, just don't cry" she mewed facing him down her bright blue eyes glimmered with moonlight, she licked his face, and purred, "Don't worry" she meowed.

Hawkwing still didn't face her. He turned his head back at her. He knew loving her in secret wouldn't be the same, but he wanted every chance he could to be with her. He sighed. OK. he meowed, licking her across the cheek. Secretly, i guess. he meowed. He stared into her beautiful orbs, taking in every momment of it. Well. I am going to go to the warrior's den. he meowed. Um, I guess we should meet by the river once a day at dawn. he meowed. He licked her once more and ducked his head into the warriors den.

She smiled and nodded, "I see you tomorrow" she meowed and headed for a thick covering bracken.
