Parish crept into the warrior's den carefully. He seemed to forget about the praises he'd recieved earlier when the thought of facing a full-aged warrior crossed his mind.
"Hello?" he asked, controlling his voice to keep calm. He took another step, feeling braver. "Is anyone in here?"

Morninglily rose her head up at a young voice, "yes" she meowed sleepily, as she saw a kit in the den door way, "do need something?" she meowed politely.

Parish shuffled his paws shyly. "I came looking for a mentor. I heard from some friends that this was the best place to start looking." His blues eyes widened when he looked at the lovely siamese.

"I guess their right" she meowed with a light laugh to her voice, "shows you got lots of guts, to just kinda walk in here, your pretty strong hearted, most kits would just say ergh... and run off" she meowed and got out of her warm nest, and shook the moss off of her tan pelt, "I would love to mentor, but I have to talk to Dragonstar about it, I could mentor you if you would like" she finished and licked a paw and drew it over her ear.

He smiled wide with excitement, his tiney fangs showing. "That would be wonderful!!!" he said excitedly. "Would you really?" He shifted his feet, anxious and full of excitement.

He was unsure whether to follow her or wait inside the den.
"Should I come with you?" he asked, pouncing along behind her. He'd decided he was too excited to wait behind.
