Only one tear may fall

Kujostream was in the far corner of the warrior's den. He had his head bowed and his tail swatted the air in a sure sign of agitation. Two of his kits had mates, and he wished that they would have stayed small forever. He always worried about them, didn't want them to worry about having their heartbroken at such a young age. It's not like I can do anything about it now, he muttere.

feathertail trotted in, and sniffed the air, she was looking for kujostream, she raised her eyes and peered intot he dark den, she parted her mouth and drew in a very familiar scent, she walked in more, and came a fox length away from kujostream, "Hi...are you okay?" she mewed bending her head down and trying to look into the dark golden gaze she once use to look into all the time.

He lifted his head and smiled at her. "Yes, I'm fine." he muttered again. I hope our kits will be ok. I mean with their mates and all, I'm just worried. That's what fathers are supposed to do right? he asked.

[feathertail]

"yes..of course...all fathers worry" she smiled, "They'll be fine...bot toms are very sweet..but sadly I worry for gingerkit, she has seemed to take a serious liking to a Thunderclan tom" she gave a little amused laugh. "Don't worry, I bet that they will be fine...we just don't want them to end up with broken hearts" she meowed, now sencing what kingdomstreak was worrying about.

[Kingdomstreak]

"Now you decide to tell me that she is liking a Thunderclan tom! Don't let her go into an enemy clan, expecially Thunderclan!" He growled. Kujostream stood up then started pacing the den," Don't let her Feathertail. You know how much trouble we will be in? We can not afford to lose the trust of our leader, we can't." He stopped infront of her and looked into her eyes.

"I thought you knew!!" she looked at him with intent eyes, "I know that...but she loves him! I can't stop that" feathertail meowed, "you can't turn love around...love always stays with you" feathertail walked up to her mate glancing at him and then at her paws, "Don't get angry at her..she's young...and they where wrong..."feathertail stepped in front of him and looked into his eyes.

"Don't tell me that mouse dung. Who is this cat anyway? glowered Kujostream, turning away from Feathertail's intent eyes.

Feathertail looked up at him, "Flightpaw" she whispered and stared at her mate.."You can't just storm out like this....She loves him" she growled, her voice was raising, "kujpostream..please, don't hurt her, her heart will be broken if she is seperated from him" she meowed now still staring at him with more of a gentle and concerned look.

"But a Thunderclan cat Feathertail! She could do better than that. There are plenty of cats here in camp for her to love!"he yelled. And stop looking at me like that,he muttered, avoiding her beautiful eyes.

[feathertail]

feathertail turned her head, "But they love each other...they love each other as much as we love each other" she meowed now going back up to him and looking lovingly into his eyes trying to calm him down. Feathertail licked his cheek, "It's going to be fine kujostream..you'll see..." she mewed.

Nothing will be fine! What if she decides to move to Thunderclan with him? I'm not letting my children leave! he hissed. His temper was rising and his fur stood on end. He stood on all four paws now, he stood tall and his chest was out puffed. I want to meet this apprentice, he growled.

[feathertail]

Feathertail seemed to have shrunk her ears now laid falt on her head, her eyes big and shocked her mate seemed unhappy with her and her daughter, feathertail raised up and puffed out..."You can't make up her decisions for her!" feather hissed back, her temper started to rise, "think kujostream...you'll take her heart away..and she will only rebell...you hurt either one of them....you'll be in so much trouble" she growled trotting out of the den, growling, and spitting.

Feathertail walked slowly to the nursery to see her growing kits, their eyes held shut, and there breathing soft and shallow, her heart skipped a beat when she looked at gingertail, she looked so happy, and if her father took her love away, she would literally die, Feathertail sighed and came to lay beside them flopping down and resting her head on her paws, only feeling the cold soft tears drip slowly on her paws.

[why are they still in the nursery if they already have mates? arent they grown?]

"Your going to ruin her Feathertail! he spat after her. you'll take her heart away..and she will only rebell...you hurt either one of them....you'll be in so much trouble,. He shook his head of her words and glared after her. Their first fight, and it had to be over their kits. Atleast he knew that they both cared. Kujostream would not admit that she was right.....because he also knew that he was too.

[they haven't grown up yet..they still haven't like got apprenticed..their just in love and I mean just in love]
