Icepaw shifted uneasyily on his side. He had been out in the cold running by himself again. He did it mainly to keep his keen speed and power at thier best levels but now he was starting to think he should of just stuck to hunting like was supposed to of been doing when Twilightpelt had told him to. "Why won't this headache go away?" the apprentice muttered. His nose felt dry, and his bellyached as well. "Stop hurting!" Icepaw threatened at his own body. Defeated he collapsed on his moss bed that he thrashed about on for a good while. "I just hope Twilightpelt doesn't need me...maybe I should go see Lilyfeather...nah see'll just fuss and keep me from training..." Icepaw trashed some more but couldn't shake the pains in his body no matter how annoying they were.

Firepaw's voice was cold, but joking. HE was is a much better mood now that him and Featherpaw were Mates-to-be. Firepaw couldn't wait to become a warrior. Now that he finialy got his life back, he and Icepaw could go back to being worst enemys. "No, don't tell me- you are to lazy to go train so you are pretending to be sick. Right?" Firepaw's amber eyes stared down at the hurting Icepaw. HIs tail flicking back and forth.

"No...Firepaw I was doing what I do best." Icepaw grunted through the words. His rival put him in an oddly good mood, even though it didn't help the twisting feeling in his gut. "Firepaw even with this pain i'd still run circles around you..." Icepaw taunted, his legs feeling weak.

Firepaw purred at rival's comment. "pssh- you could run circles around me. You are to fat; you look like a kittypet." He said back, voice as cold as leafbare snow. Firepaw noticed how badly Icepaw was hurting, so he desided to ask what was the matter. "Hey- you are acting more dramatic the normal, running dosn't make you spazz out dose it?" he asked poking Icepaw with his paw.

"I think...I spent too long in the cold." Icepaw muttered. "Either that, or one of the freshkill you caught was probably crow-food or something." Icepaw taunted. The cat's side stung in pain again, and he fought to keep his stance.

Firepaw flicked his tail in responce. "You know, even the stupid rats know not to stay to long in the cold" he meowed back. Firepaw knew exactly what to say at exactly the right time- yet he didn't know how to tell Icepaw he needed to get to Lillyfather. "You know, Lillyfeather most likely has so herbs for stupid cats like you" He said hinting that ICepawn eeded a medicine cat. |

Icepaw matched Firepaw's gaze, dispite his fury, he did notice some wisdom behind his rival's words. "Erg...herbs..." Icepaw twisted at the thought, he felt that eatting things like that were beneath him. "And if training to be the greatest cat is stupid Firepaw, I like being mouse-brained." Icepaw walked past his rival and out of the den.
