Shard of The River {Open}

Shard's tiny paws padded agents the cold snow that coverd the grounds of Riverclan.Shard didn't know were to go, how she would surive suddenly an idea came to her....

The Ice under Shard begain to split and crack, soon Shard found herself under water.The cold water almost knowcked her out , luckly the ice furtehr down the river broke to so it was eaisy to get air,"Help" she cried out before being pushed under water again.her black fur was tangled with patches of ice that stuck to her pelt.She was lossing all sence of direction, soo she came back to the surface "Help me!!!"once again she was pulled under water, was this SHard's fate? would she be leftalone to die with out anoyone.Shard's blind eyes wildly tryed to see, yetblidnessis something nearly impossible.Shard found her body was begaining tp tingle, she would soo die if no one would find her.She let out a silent scretch before slowly fainting.

The body of a fainted black cat washed up on the shores of Stony beach, the cat's fur was matted and tangled.HEr frame was very small and she was very skinny from not eating enough,on oneside of her there was a scratch were she must have been scratch by a rock.The wound was deep and was bleeding onto the shore, thje she-cat's heart beat slowly and were off beat.The black she-cat stayed motionless she had awaken by now yet was to tired to move.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge padded along RiverClan territory, thinking of his earlier meeting with Skull. Listening for any sounds, his ears pricked up when he heard a faint call for help. Rushing towards the sound, Rouge came upon a mangled clump of black fur on the riverbank. Realizing the sides of the clump were slowly falling and rising, he hissed with suprise. Lifting a paw, he gently pushed down on the highest point of the cat, hoping to remove any water from the cats lungs. Thinking fast, he noticed that a bit of ice was forming on the ends of the black she-cats fur. Flicking the cold ice away, he began to rub the wet black fur the wrong way to get the she-cat warmed up and dry.[/glow]

Sunheart was padding through the forest, welcoming in the coolness of the night air. She disired fish, but didnt know how she was supposed to get them with the water being froven, but it had been a warm day and she hoped some might have melted. She rounded the croner where she could make out a small black heap of...cat! Sunheart raced up to her she didnt know the cat or even if she belonged in riverclan, she hadn't been fully aware of anything these days. Aware that the small cats sides were moving she spoke What happened, who are you, can you hear me?

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge hissed when a new cat approached. "She's unconcious, and if you don't mind, you could back up so I can get her to regain conciousness!" he growled, continuing his work of drying off Shard.[/glow]

The black cat didn'trespond,her breatherswer growing nimbler and quick.Yet she wouldn't move nor open her eyes.The black and whiet she-cat laied therestill as a mouse waiting.Finialy the she-cat opened her eyes,by the stench of Skull on ROuge's fur she knew she was part of his group."Leave me in pease, Skull has betrayer me and Icome here to join Riverclan" she lied in a cracked voice thatshe made up for herself and practised every day.

The black cat slowly lifted her head then rested her head on her paws,"Leave" she repeted softer and more pleadingly,"Leave or Help me"she said quickly changing her mind about the whole of it.Suddenly she noticed a RIverclan cat,"PLease, I want to join Riverclan.I want to leave my life as a rouge, please help me

[glow=black,2,400]"I'll help you, what is your name?" he asked. Realizing that Shard's fur was almost dry[sorry if that's powerplaying], he finished drying it and gently pressed down on her side again, trying to get more water out of her lungs.[/glow]

"I don't require the help of a loner like yourself" she spat after coughing up some water,"Leave me, I don't care if I die.At lest I will die on RIverclan soil!!"Yowled Shard.It was eaisy to tell tell she was regaing her energy.Shard looked up at Sunheart again,"Please I only want to be in RIverclan thats why I have come"[/glow]

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge remained by Shard, and pressed on her side one more time, hoping to get the last of the water out of her lungs. "If you-" Rouge cut himself off, remembering the plan Meer had told him. Silently, he looked at Shard, a question of whether or not she was a spy for RiverClan in his eyes.[/glow]

[glow=white,2,300]Shard coughed upsome more water before getting to her paws,"Please let me goto Riverclan with you,Please!" shecried dessperetly as tears fell down her face,"I don't want to staywith Skull, please,PLEASE!!"
