Lonely(Anyone)

Angelfur walked along the river bank with her head down and tail trailing in the dust. She felt alone, and as if no one cared about her. Why should I be here? I have no family, no friends.... she thought. Looking around, she realzed she was far enough away from the camp to sit. Sitting down, she looked out onto the river. The light afternoon sunlight played on the waves as the water flowed passed by. I wish I could get away as easily she thought as she watched a leaf float by.

Badgerpaw's short and stubby body weaved in and out of reeds the surrounded the Riverclan river.He and Sakura needed to find Sage and of corse Sage only grew close to water,Badgerpaw was very amazed at how many different types of plants grew Riverclan.This was his first time in RIverclan so he couldn't help but wander what all the plant's names were,"Sakura, I can smell it!!We are almost to Sage!" he meowed in his gruff yet squeaky voice.

Badgerpaw shot forwerd, his mindon the lovely sent of Sage untill he found the leavy green plant not far ahead,"There it is!!" hemeowed exitetly as he begain to pick as much as he could, little did he know thata Riverclanner was sitting on the other side of the river.

Sakura followed Badgerpaw. Her keen sense of smell caught the herbs scent, but also a scent she'd come to recognize as RiverClan.

"Are you sure we should be here?" Sakura asked.

[Burningwing]

Another cat was also sitting on the other side of the river, watching the current flow swiftly down, winding and splashing, sprinkling his face with droplets of icy cold water. His paws spread wide to grip to the mossy shore that jutted down abruptly into a pile of shimmering grey pebbles tumbling in the florescent water. A sigh slipped from his mouth as the rhythmic splash of liquid splattered onto his toes. His eyes grazed the surface and he felt himself slipping away when....

A strange scent filled his nose. Windclan with a mix of sage and loner. Stupid cats! He thought stubbornly. There stealing RC property! With a quick bound, the handsome gold tabby leaped to his paws and shredded down the river, his claws ripping up clumps of grass. " You there!" He snarled, without thinking. Then he pushed off his hind legs and pummeled himself into the black and white cat. " Stealing from River clan eh?"

Sakura growled and lunged at the tom on Badgerpaw. She shoved him, trying to get him off. Sakura unsheathed her claws and swiped at the cat.

"We. Are. Just. Getting. Herbs" She mewed slowly and angrily.

[Burningwing]

Cougarpaw snarled and swiped at Sakura's nose, splattering droplets of deep red blood on his gold striped paw. His amber gaze tightened as he sarcastically growled back. " This. Is. Riverclan. Territory." His pupils narrowed as he turned back to Badgerpaw and ripped out a clump of his windswept badger coloured pelt, his claws unsheathed to the max as he protected his territory, not even thinking about what he might be getting himself into.

" Get to your own territory, you wretched Windclaner!" He yowled, his jaws gaping wide, showing slightly stained fangs that sparkled with spit in the shaft of sun that filtered through the rough leaved trees.

Sakura growled and lunged at the tom, pinning him down.

'That is the WindClan medicine cat apprentice" She growled "And if you want to get near him, you'll have to fight me"

[Burningwing]

" Gladly!" He spat, his eyes glowing with hatred. With that, he skinned his eyes, his gaze fading as a trickle of blood leaked from his shoulder where Sakura had pinned him. He gave a hiss of surprise and pain and his amber eyes dulled as he fought to free himself from the foul smelling cats grip. He felt himself limpin and he let himself fall into a deep trace, his eyes open but unseeing as the cut in his shoulder ripped wider and blood spilled out in a cascade of sticky, red fluid.
Pain, ragged and endless fell across him. His shoulder was bleeding slowly now, matting his ginger gold fur into knots of deep maroon and tipped like dewdrops on blades of grass.

Sakura jumped off the cat.

"I'll give you a fighting chance then" She growled "Unlike you gave us" She got into a defence position. Her being half-blind and half-deaf would have to help her, somehow.

When Sakura dropped off him, his broad chest pounding in pain and confusion he leaped up, his eyes flaming like amber chips of flint. Cougarpaw's pelt bristled warily as he once again leaped for Sakura, the wound on his shoulder oozing like sap as he pummeled into the tortoiseshell loner, his claws digging into her fur and taring out chunks of it with a rageful yowl of annoyance. Cougarpaw's eyes glared into hers as he pushed her over the river edge unmercifully, flinging her into the current and soaking her fur. " Whats you problem?" he snarled after her. " Don't you know the warrior code? His teeth grinded together as he whipped around and hissed at Badgerpaw. " Now for you!" he spat. " Get out of here mousebrain!"

Sakura felt searing pain as the cat dug his claws into her. The feeling was replaced by the chill of the river. Sakura knew how to swim, despite the horrible wounds, and swam back to shore. She staggered onto land. Her eyes still held anger as she faced the cat. She lunged at him again.

Badgerpaw's cold amber glared glared deep at Cougerpaw."You better learn to warrior code- Medicine cats are aloud to cross boreders to get herbs and send messages to other clans" he hissed,"ANd you are breaking to warrior code by attack me and my helper" He hissed angerly.

(Lets wait for Nagel now- I miss postingwith her now that I killed of Blackthorn )

Cougarpaw drew back his lips revealing rows of sharp teeth. His ginger striped fur bristled like crazy and his amber eyed twinkled like fool's gold in the sluggy rays of sunlight. This cat, was trespassing on Riverclan territory! He didn't care if Badgerpaw was medicine cat or a warrior from Starclan. He would protect his clan to the very last drop of his blood. His legs stanced far apart and his head lowered to his chest. " Windclan is getting loners to help them with there herbs? How pathetic, I was starting to think that Windclan might actually be a bit decent, but now their just stealing herbs off of are territory!" He taunted, his head high as he glared down at the small, frail medicine cat apprentice. " Just because you need sage doesn't mean you can leave behind the warrior code and sneak into other clan territory for herbs! Get outta' her, you mangy badger!"

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"We weren't sneaking" Sakura growled "And just because I'm a loner doesn't mean I'm not important. And speaking of pathitc, are you so desperate to serve your clan that you'd attack the first cat the comes along? Pa-the-tic"

Cougarpaw shrugged cooly, his eyes careful and steady like the watch of a eagle, it's eyes stationed readily at it's unaware prey, ready for it's launch." At least I have a clan to protect, unlike you." He remarked cautiously, his voice low and careful, as if he was hitting a tender spot. His ginger and gold fur prickled warningly, he could give a rattling yowl, one of that of the cougar, and all the patrols would be here in a minute, ready to take on the loner and Windclan apprentice. " And thanks for the comment of attacking," he meowed professionally." I always thought I had good scenting and hearing." With that, he turned to Badgerpaw, his amber glowing eyes hostile. " And you," He spat." Riverclan needs these herbs, the land is dry lately, and the elders need more sage." He lashed out and gripped the herbs then placed them firmly in his mouth. " Fine, here's a reward for your pigheadedness," He carefully flung a stalk of sage root to the medicine cat apprentice. " Thrill yourself."

(Thanks you guys. lol AND YOU KILLED BLACKTHORN?!?!?!?!!? -Faints-)

Angelfur rushed down to th intruders and the appretice at the sound of fighting. "Stop this at once!" she hissed at Cougarpaw. Sighing, she went on to explain. "You can't attack a Medicine cat Appretice like that! Even if they have a loner with them. Plus, we have plenty of Sage here. What do you think Dragonstar would want us to do?" Anglefur asked the Riverclan appretice.

Sakura eyed the clan cat wearily. Her pelt bristled. She walked over to Badgerpaw.

"Can we trust her?" She whispered into his ear.

[badgerpaw]

Badgerpaw nodded his head,"We can trust her" he said out of breath.BAdgerpaw let out a short bow of gratatude to the cream colored she-cat,"Thank you, by the way you look I suppose you are Angelheart?I herd Firekit and Earthkit of RIverclan talking about you last gathering"Badgerpaw said softly,"I am sorry to hear about Blackthorn".Badgerpaw knew that the she-cat had killed herself not to long ago and he also knew she had been a noble warrior of Riverclan"She will be missed"

Angelfur was taken aback by the gratitude the apprentice showed her. "Its Angelfur, but we can't blame the kits for getting it wrong" she meowed to Badgerpaw. Angelfur flinched when the apprentice brought up Blackthorn." Yes, she will be missed greatly. It hurt me to see her do that. She was my Best Freind" Anglefur meowed sadly.

Badgerpaw flicked his tail in a sort of occwerd manner,"I have herd stories of Blackthorn when I was a kit, they said she was evil it is very hard to picture her as a clan cat" meowed BAdgerpaw sadily.BADgerpaw shook away memories of the storied he was told and disided to change the subject,"How is Riverclan doing? The war didn't effect Windclan much beside some scars here and there.Riverclan and Thunderclan were hit the worst"

[Burningwing]

" Ya, and were still recovering,"

Cougarpaw added in. His ears flatted stiffly on his sunrise coloured pelt and all over him bristled with hatred. He never had any friends, only the warrior code. And he had stuck to it like sap to bark. He didn't remember anything that said cats could come on your territory for herbs, so he didnt believe it. It was the same as prey right? If you don't have enough, you don't go over and snatch some from someones territory, they need it! He grumbled sourly and glared wistfully at the two trespassers, his fur hardly down. " I think Stormstar and Dragonstar would want these intruders of of this territory!"

Sakura didn't like the feeling she felt. She felt unwanted here. Besides, she had her own home to get back to anyways.

"Well it was nice to meet you Badgerpaw, Angelfur." She dipped her head to Cougarpaw, and walked off.
