Sunheart woke up early in the morning. She saw the patrols leave, and wish she could have gone too. She sighed and heaved herself to her paws and wandered over to the fresh kill pile, which was supprisingly low. Despite herself she dug out a small mouse so she wouldn't get too hungry later. After she finished her mouse she looked around camp, it was all so quiet, she could hear anything. This silence made her feel very uncomfortable, so she headed towards the the camp wall that seperated the camp from the trees and river, and the rest of the forest. Tangled in thoughts of her own she had managed to scare of two voles and a squirrel already. Shoot if im this bad about it I might as well have stayed at camp she thought to herself. No she couldnt let her clan down, not now, not ever. She let her paws take her to the river, next to her favorite tree, a Paper Bark Birch, tall and wide. She layed down at the base which had curved to match her body for so many times she had done this, and just looked at the horizon. The comming of dawn had made the clouds all shades and hues of violet, crimson, and indigo. What a beautiful day

(wow! i love ur post and how did you make that picture of cats?)
Hawkwing's eyes followed the momment of the she-cat, Sunheart. His gaze went right to her beautiful eyes and he sighed. As if she likes me..She doesn't even know I am in Riverclan or alive. He sighed once more. All I can do is say, 'hello' He used his claws so grab the branch below him. He reached with one paw, once it was on the branch he set down the other one. Then his whole body. He did that all the way down, doing one branch at a time. Once he was close to the ground he jumped. He saw the suprised look on her face and smiled. Hi

(thanks i did it before i cuaght the bus this morning.for my siggy theres a program fern let me barrow and install it on my compy, then i uploaded it on my picture trail account. If you want i could make one for you) Even though it had startled her when Hawkwing landed in front of her, she didnt seem to be able to jump, flinch, or anything. All she could do was stare into his eyes for a second or two Wow! Some skills to track me down with a skip of her heart she thought Did he want to find me for a reason. Does he like me!? When she was fianlly able to gather all of her thoughts she sat up, but never looked away from his eyes I feel weird, being with him, could it be love? Hey Hawkwing she managed to say with some difficulty. So... she thought a moment how are you? We never really seem to, well you know...talk much in camp. She had managed to take her eyes out of his and turned her head to look up at the beatiful sunrise sighed and said Isn't it wonderful.

Well, I have always tried to talk to you. he purred. He looked at her eyes once more. If Hawkwing had to pick one speical quality about Sunheart it would be her eyes. They always seem bright and made his sad day better. He sat down and rapped his tail around his paws. Ya, it is he meowed. He looked at her when she wasn't looking. So are you. he meowed under his breath.

Sunheart thought she could hear him mutter something, but she wasn't sure enough to ask, but still she turned her head a little and looked towards him.You know how I found, this tree she asked reminiscing in her apprenticeship.
<<BTW- I know reminiscing is spelled right, i looked it up :-) >>

(oh, Si', yes)
Hawkwing looked at his paws for a second. Sure. I wanted to hear how you found the tree. he meowed. He shook himself off. The pines that were once stuck to his pelt fell off. He licked his paw and ran it over his face as he wanted for her answer.

Sunheart looked at him not sure weather he really meant his answer or not, but still she dived deeper into her memories. Well... it all started one day around 5 moons ago. I was still in training and me and my mentor were patroling the borders. Well we weren't out exactly on the border, just inside of it though. Anyway, we were walking along and I smelled somthing I hadn't smelled before, a strong musty, and awful smell. My mentor froze a second later. He was looking straight into the source of a loud growling, and stomping on the ground. He told me to run, I started padding away, and thats when it all happened... She looked down towards the ground Three of the hugest badgers I had ever seen smashed the bushes like we splash water. I heard a yowl, and I looked back and, and my mentor, wasnt exactly ... she let a few tears fall from her bright green eyes He was no longer in one piece, the badgers had torn him apart. I pelted away, but htey were on my tail in no time. There wasn't anyplace to hide, except this tree she looked up into the branches I scrambled up it the badgers were trying to gnaw through it but it just hurt them, finally they gave up, and I was able to go back to camp and spread the word

Hawkwing insently regreted asking her. He put his muzzle on hers and appoligized. He licked her ear with his rogue tonge. I am sorry I even asked.he meowed, stepping back. He sat down and currled his tail over his paws. Maybe I shouldn't have licked you. I was just so sorry. I have been through a badger attack also. I was not the one that was hurt. he meowed, andlooked down at his paws, embarsed.

Hawkwing smiled. Oh. So you wouldn't mind if I licked you again? he purred. He licked her across the nose and smiled. He let out a purr of delight and laughed.

Hawkwing sat back down, shaking peices of dirt from his pelt. He hated looking dirty in front of she-cats. His padders now on the soft terrain, he looked up at her. Her beautiful mask and orbs bright. He smiled at her.
(gtg sorry)

Sunheart couldn't help but admire him, he was good looking, never dirty. She also knew he was a good fighter, and caring. So your sisters a Riverclan now right? she asked searching for another topic.

Yes. he meowed. He licked his paw and shook a fallen leaf off of his sholder. He watched as it drifted to the ground, but landed on his paw. He shook it off carelessly and turned back to Sunheart. Did you hear that her new mate is Kingdomstreak?. he asked, hopeing to drop a hint on how he wanted a mate, maybe even her. Hawkwing's fur shined under the weak rays of the sun. He inched a bit closer to Sunheart. He hoped that the weather would be an excuse for moving closer, to stay warm.

Hawkwing blicked and stood up. He walked over to the tree and sniffed it. He stopped and sniffed it once more. The tree carried an unusal sent on it and he could not place his paw on what it was. He shrugged and padded back to Sunheart. He sat down, but this time he was a bit closer to her.
