The News of a New Life(Splinter)

Ember padded through the marshes she wasn't supposed to be here, but she had just received the news from Flightsong, she was going to have kits. Oooo, what will I-I mean we name them she thought exitedly.

Splinter scented his mate. She seemed bigger than she had been. "Emberheart what are you doing here?" he hissed anxiously. He wondered no it couldn't be could it?

[Frostwing :)]

Ember smiled she was bigger and in fact rounder, she smiled proudly "I'm going to have kits...your kits."

"Oh great Starclan" was all Splinter could say. He smiled at his mate. "When did you find out? What will we name them? I like the name Flamingkit."

[Frostwing :)]

"I found out when Flightsong the WindClan medicine cat passed by and she said I was going to have kits. And I love the name Flamingkit, and also Whirlkit." Ember smiled and rubbed her growing belly across his pelt.

"Yes definitly and perhaps Pantherkit" meowed Splinter. He had never felt happier except maybe when Meer was pregnant. He purred happily as he glanced around him. Leafbare was giving way to newleaf so the snow was melting slightly.

"Yes, so our kits names will be Flamingkit, Pantherkit,and Whirlkit!" she mewed exitedly. "Ohh, and it will be New Leaf too" she looked around were Splinter was looking and she saw the melting snow.

"Do you know when you will have them?" he asked. Emberheart took her pregnancy much better than Meer. Maybe all along Emberheart had been the right one he just hoped that she didn't ever hurt Emberheart. "Emberheart have I ever told you about my kits?"

[Frostwing :)]

"I think in a few weeks, I guess I didn't know I was going to have kits till today, and Flightsong I had been pregnant with them for atleast 3 weeks." Ember looked down at her swollen belly, she looked up when she heard Splinter mew "Emberheart have I ever told you about my kits?"
"No, only breifly, why?"

"Because you deserve to know. They were my first and I was happy. Meer seemed grouchy but I thought it was normal of course they were just mood swings. Then she got mad slightly after the kits were born because of my neice, Drizzlekit. Then I left and Thorn came and then he fell in love with her. So after I came back I left. Then I found you and it feels like the empty spot will be filled up. So I am no longer a father except to your unborn kits" meowed Splinter.

Ember purred when he mentioned her name and their unborn kits, "Oh" she mewed then she rubbed her warm pelt against his and purred, she really didn't care.

Splinter purred and rubbed against her. Feeling the bulges of life inside her stomach. Imagine his kits his beautiful kits. They would love him.

Ember purred Flamingkit, Pantherkit, and Whirlkit just in that order she thought to herself. She felt a slight kick and chuckled they would be coming soon.

"Emberheart remember they can know me so long as they know that they can't tell anyone else" meowed Splinter. He purred then put his tail on her head.

Ember nodded and purred, "I will make sure they don't tell anyone." His tail rested between her eyes, she let out a small yelp when a kit kicked hard against her.

Splinter felt the kick as well. "Are you hungry?" he asked. He was feeling rather hungry as well and was ready to eat.

"Yes, I'm feel quite hungry" she mewed getting to her feet. Her belly hung low it seemed like either 4 regular kits or 1 big one and 2 more others were inside of there. Her stomach hurt, they would be coming soon.
