Liontooth let out a screeching howl, he was very behind on training. "Flailpaw!" he yelled. They were going to either hunt or fight. Lionthooth hadn't decided yet. His stunning orange pelt shined miracously in the sun. His amber eyes searched up and down to find his apprentice. He was very late, later then the usual. Flailpaw perked his ears up, and ran to where he heard his mentor yowl his name. Recently, his mentor had been somewhat missing, so Flailpaw spent most his time with Crowpaw. Rushing forward, Flailpaw widened his strides until he came to an abrupt stop in front of Liontooth. He was about gasping for air, his eyes shining with excitement. He couldn't wait for training. "You called?" Flailpaw meowed, taking in a chestful of air.

The silver warrior gave a snort of amusement as his apprentice approached him with a small joke. "TOday, we are going to battle train." He said, his soft pelt gleamed in the sunshine. The mud covered his paws, and the familar smell of ShadowClan haunted his nose pleasantly. "So, I want you to attack me." Liontooth stated, his muscles tensed, ready for any movement that his apprentice would make.

Flailpaw purse his lips, and his eyes squinted in concentration. Slightly moving, Flailpaw eased back into a crouch- A stalking stance. His body weight shifted form side to side, trying to decide what strategy would best suit the situation. Flailpaw tensed his muscles, then flexed them back out. A wide crooked grin flashed across his face.
"Give me a motive first." He meowed, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Liontooth looked at the apprentice's position, it already looked like he was prepared to attack. But was it a steady balance? That was the question. Deciding to check, he swiftly jumped up, so it appeared he would be jumping the the apprentice's back, but all the moment he was a few lengths away, he forced his weight to his bottom parts of his body, and landed all in three seconds, then he swiftly and steadily aimed for Flailpaw's paws, and heaved himself in less then a second at them with his weight all on his front paws as they skidded outstretched on the ground swiping back and forth to knock him off balanced.

Failpaw looked at Liontooth confused, then rolled over to the right, jumped in a full circle, and faced his mentor up front. Flailpaw felt the breath woosh out of him as he used every muscle to do the stunt.

Liontooth nodded at approvingly. "Excellent." He mewed, his sharp eyes digging at the apprentice. "Now that I know you can dodge, lets see you counter attack." He mewed, tensing his muslces, waiting for his apprentice, Flailpaw,to counterattack. Making the first move was only first step to fighting, but you have to make carry on the fight and keep up with the pace. "Attack." Liontooth commanded the tom/apprentice.

Liontooth looked around for his aprentice. He caught the apprenticce out of the corner of his eye, pouncing up from behind. Liotooth turned around and met Flailpaw while standing on his hind legs, his paws outstretched and while the apprentice was in the air, he attempted to push Flailpaw to the ground. 'Not many cats know how to approach a cat on thei hind legs. If Flailpaw wants to learn how two do it, I'll have to teach him how to balanve on his hind legs and stregthen his muscles in his hind legs.' Liontoth's muscles rippled, his paws sunk in the drier mud, but it still was enough for his the mud under a thin layer of grass to cover his paws. His oranger pelt shined in the few sun rays tht made it through the thick trees and brackle that covered ShadowClan's terratory.

Flailpaw adjusted his weight to his front paws, and tried to use it to his advantage. The wind blew around him, making his eyes water and slightly blurring his vision.

//No big, mine are bad somedays too!// Liontooth new the breeze was slow, but he could easily use that to his advantage. His ginger pelt swayed a little torwards Flailpaw's direciton, and forced him forward, gracefully landing back down to his front paws. He leaned all his weight to his front side and kicked out a paw hoping to knock Flailpaw's paws out from under him and to knock him off balance. He could easily get in a second attack.

flailpaw saw instantly what was happening, and Flailpaw landed on his front paws. "How can I attack if you wont let me?"

Liontooth grinned, his pearly colored teeth gleamed. "Why do you need me to stand still? Can you not catch me or something?" the over -sized warrior joked, his tail poked Flailpaw's shoulder lightly, before jumping back and forth so and then jumped up and landed behind the aprentice, hoping to surprize his apprentice, Flailpaw.

Liontooth stopped in his jump, dropping dead right in front of Flailpaw. He gave a grunt of annoyance and sat on ground. 'Ok, Flailpaw, attack me. I want to see if you can push me off balance in order to give me a good attack.' he mewed with a surprizingly calm voice, and then he stood up, tensed his muslces, and leaned into his crouch, waiting for his apprentice, Flailpaw to attack him, to try to attack him at least. His glistening fur shone in the sun lightly. His moth was parted slightly, realeasing the sight of white teeth, his mouth in a angry shape. a silent growl escaped his mouth. Liontooth's ears were perked up, the pink skin inside of the showed. His cheeks were slightly wrinkled, and twitched at every movement that could be caught with his strong hearing, and accurate smell.

Flailpaw droppedi nto a crouch that was always on hte verge of a leap. He slithered forward, ears perked, eyes alert. Flailpaw let his eyes stare at the warriors massive shoulders, but his body locked onto his legs. With a heavy forepaw, he leaped forward to try and trip his mentor.

Liontooth jumped, leaning on his back mucsles to creat upport to bring his front paw up. He did it quickly. "That was awsome, Flailpaw!" He exclaimed, his two forepaws that were off the grond quickly collasped on to the dryish/wettish dirt. A loud thump was heard. He grinned. "That was great, yoou had everything... if you were a tiny it quicker, you couldof got me. But you did great trying to fool me with your eyes gluued to my shoulders, so I almost thought about ducking, and then turning around and attacking my paws. That would of fooled almost everybody!! You are going to make an awsome warrior some day." He mewed.

A wide grin split Flailpaw's face, and his eyes glinted with excitement. Pride surged through him, and he felt warmth reach the very tips of his toes. "Well then, it's your turn. Atack me" Flailpaw challenged. He unsheathed his claws, and stuck his tongue out of the corner of his mouth.

Flailpaw was a good fighter. He was going to be a great fighter when he was older, Liontooth could tell. Flailpaw hd nice muscle around his shoulders and back legs, and his eyes grew excitment whenever they he would attack. Liontooth knew he was born for it. Liontooth's pelt smoothed out, his amber eyes gleamed, he tensed his muscles. What would he do? "Ok... here I go." Liontooth stuck to a basic moving, catching Flailpaw off balance. He stuckout his head, and pointed his eyes torward the apprentice's flank. Reaching out his neck, he took his paw and advanced it forward, the dirty paw acting in to position of a 'J' or a hook. He stuck it around the closest paw of Flailpaw and pulled back, quickly, hoping to trip him. He only took only a few second for Liontooth to preform this move.

Flailpaw knew exactly what was happening, his eyes took in every detail as if it was in slow motion. Quickly, before the paw snaged his, he jumped upwards, wanting to propel his body onto Liontooth's unsupecting body. His body shifted weight as he was in mid air, focuding his weight into his forepaws. If he could connect the blow to Liontooth, it would be enough to bowl him over and give Flailpaw the upper hand, but if it didn't...

Liontooth looked up, and saw his apprentice jump. Flailpaw had counterattacked. 'That was great!' He thouht to himself, and gracefully tried to pull himself out of the way, but knew there was no hope. He didn't have enough time to twist onto his underbelly, and he didn't have enough time either pull himself out of the way. He then tried another move, he flipped on to his back and stuck his paws in a major tuck in, so if Flailpaw landed on one of his paws, they would push him back up, but if he landed on his underbelly Liontooth knew he could push him off before Flailpaw could do a lot of damage.

Flailpaw felt colour drain from his eyes, Liontooth was a smart fighter. He felt himself falling, and tried to land with his paws around the warrior, and in between his mentor's paws too, but it didn't seem like the cnaces were on his side. Flailpaw closed his eyes and let himself fall.

Liontooth realized that he had put his position wrong. He watched the apprentice fell onto his under belly, and he sure fel tthe suden wait compressing agaisnt his stomach. "Ahh..." He groaned a little. He took his paws and tried to roll in order to push Flailpaw off of him. [/center

Flailpaw planted his paws firmly in the ground, his eyes opened wide in suprise. How had he just completed that move? Shaking his head to rid of the thought, he crouched down on top of his mentor, his weight pressing him to the dirt. Clouds of dust had been stirred up, and alot of it had accumulated on Flailpaw's pelt, and it made him sneeze. "Gotcha" He mewed triumphantly, not letting his guard down.

Liontooth slid from under the apprentice. He had landed a move, and he was very happy about that. "Yes he did get me... that time." He mewed and then turned torwards the setting sun. The orange warrior was tuckered out, as darkness settled in over the bracken. "Time to go... there is another training session tomorrow, we're going hunting, or fighting, or patrolling." He mewed in his mysterious voice, "It's a surprize." After that was said he ran off heading to camp.

Flailpaw dashed after his mentor, still bursting with energy, but the lulls of dreariness were slowly settling in. His strides became less smooth as he neared the camp, ready to fall asleep. He trotted in, still wondering about what they would do tomorrow, and went to find Crowpaw.
