Bursting out of the undergrowth, Silentpaw stopped before her mentor, panting slightly. When she saw that she was as tall as Windchaser, Silentpaw felt sadness rush through her as she realised that she should be a Warrior.

Noticing the Apprentice's sad exprssion Windchaser nudged Silentpaw. "Come, come," she said gently, "there is no reason to be upset. It isn't your fault and never will be."

"It's those stupid Rouges' fault!" Silentpaw hissed, surprisingly contrary to her sweet-nature. "Let's train!" With these words, Silentpaw leapt upward, mspringing onto Windchaser's black and white back.

Windchaser only could give her apprentice a sade-ways smile. Windchaser had lost the three most important things to her: Goldnheart, Dreamcather, and most imporantly, her baby brother, Holwingheart. "I know how you feel." But, as the warrior-like cay jumped on her Windchaser began to move and wriggles her way out of the trap. "Try to grasp your claws in my back bone. Try again."

A split-second after Windchaser finished speaking, Silentpaw lepat forward, aiming for her shoulders but looking at her paws. Grasping her Mentor's shining back with her claws, the siamese she-cat held on for all she was worth.

The grasp was definitely firm, like a warriors. "Very good.. now you can let go." She tried to find a smile, but ultimately failed. "What do you know about hunting?" she asked, trying to lighten the mood. "I am starving."

Sliding sideways off her Mentors back, Silentpaw affectionally head-butted Windchaser. "Come on, there's no need to feel down," The siamese she-cat mewed, her eyes sparkling. "Afterall, I'm here!" With this said, Silentpaw nuzzled Windchaser, then dropped back and swung round and headed off into the ferns, trying to scent prey.
