creek rushed into the medicine cat den, she gently laid cheetahpaw down and collapsed down next to her. "the badgers attacked us" she groaned. her shoulder was bleeding badly. she went into a deep sleep. once again the starry she-cat met her" you did good creek, you saved cheetahpaw's life." the cat disappeared and creek slept very peacefully.

Cheetahpaw stayed awake. Her leg hurt badly from when the badger flung her. She hoped it wasn't broken. Cheetahpaw waited patiently for the medicine cat to come.

how are you doing? creek asked cheetahpaw. do you have a mentor cheetahpaw?

"I think I'm ok" Cheetahpaw mewed "No, I dont have a mentor yet. I was just recently apprenticed" Cheetahpaw waited for the medicine cat to come. She hoped they would come soon, her leg was worrying her.

"Thanks" Cheetahpaw mewed "But that's up to Wingstar" Cheetahpaw yawned and started to close her eyes, when she remembered she had to stay awake and wait for the medicine cat.

Badgerpaw's amber eyes watched as the two cats walked in, one of the cat was a cat he had learn was a loner yet for some reason still has a small crush on her. Another was a cat he had never seen before. Badgerpaw slowly walked towerds the cats and glanced down at them worridly, "What happened?" he asked as he sniffed at the cat's wounds for infections.

"We were hunting" Cheetahpaw mewed "And three badgers attacked. I hurt my leg" She glanced at her back right leg, then at Badgerpaw.

"we were attacked by a badger" creek said. badgerpaw is a really handsome tom thought creek.

Badgerpaw flicked his tail, "Ok, So Cheetahpaw your leg is broke, and by the looks of it the Badger may have shatterd your leg bone" he said softly glancing now and then at Cheetahpaw's wounds. Badgerpaw quickly ran to the back of the den and brought some Cobweb with him. He quickly licked Cheetahpaw's wounds then put the cobweb on them. Then he did the same for Creek.

After he was finished with the cobweb he once again disappeared into the back of his den. This time he came back with a Comfrey flower. He then pulled the roots from the plant and chew them into a poultice and set it beside Cheetahpaw for her to eat. "Ok, I am hoping that none of your wounds become infected. " he said softly before sitting down near Cheetahpaw and wraping his tail over his paws.

"Thanks" Cheetahpaw mewed. She ate the herb, though she hated the taste. Hearing her leg was broken she felt sadness clench her. No more warrior training for awhile that meant.
"Will I have to stay in the medicine cat den?" Cheetahpaw asked. She didn't mind staying there, she was just curious.

Badgerpaw nodded his head slowly, "Yea- I am sorry. You must hate starying in the medicine cta den all day, but it will be best" he stated before checking over Cheetahpaw's leg."How much dose it hurt? " asked Badgerpaw slowly. Badgerpaw wasn't sure how hurt her leg really was. He needed to know that before he gave her any more herbs.

"It's not as bad anymore" Cheetahpaw mewed "But before it hurt realy bad"

Cheetahpaw looked at her leg. Having her weak bones came with a price.

"I dont mind having to stay here" Cheetahpaw mewed "It's nice in here."

"why is the shadow clan leader and a fox in here?!" creek said seeing things that weren't there.

Cheetahpaw's eyes widened. She looked around. Creek must be delerious(sp?).

"Um... they aren't" Cheetahpaw mewed. She looked at Badgerpaw, her eyes saying 'What's going on?'

"im thirsty, and so is the fox he wants water."

Cheetahpaw eyed Creek. She started to stand up, then winced and laid back down. Her leg was still hurting.

creek suddenly shuddered" i just had the weirdest dream, the shadow clan leader was here and a fox too, he wanted water. where's badgerpaw?" she asked urgently.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"Badgerpaw is right here..." Cheetahpaw mewed. Now she was confused. Well, if she was going to be living here for awhile, she may as well get comfy. Cheetahpaw yawned and laid her head on her paws.

"ok, im going to sleep. good night."

"Goodnight" Cheetahpaw mewed. She stayed awake. She wanted to maybe talk to Badgerpaw. Just chat or something. She had a small crush on him, to tell the truth, but she would never tell anyone.

it was late at night and creeks shoulder hurt and her paw the badger bit was contorted in an odd shape and burned in pain. creek woke badgerpaw" my paw and shoulder hurts really bad" she whispered careful not to wake cheetahpaw.

((Cheetahpaw never fell asleep))

Cheetahpaw was already awake, so she heard everything. She laid her head on her paws and watched the moon, unaware of everything going on around her. She liked watching the moon. It was fun and relaxing.

"oh cheetahpaw i thought you were asleep."said creek, she smiled at her and thought a friend always makes things better.

[badgerpaw]

"You guys are winning more then a grumpy old elder!" Badgerpaw complained as he went to get some more chewed Comfery for Cheetahpaw and some Chervil leaves for Creek.Badgerpaw shortly returned and placed the chewed herb by Cheetahpaw and the spikey leaves by Creek.

Badgerpaw then ran off t get some new moss for the two cats, after a while he returned with the moss and laided them down near the two cats, " You guys are going to be here a while so you beter get you beds ready" he said softly then curled up in a ball on his own moss bed.

"thanks badgerpaw, but i have 1 question, what is wrong with my foot?" asked creek

Cheetahpaw nodded. She ate the comfrey and curled up, falling asleep.

[badgerpaw]

"It is probibly infected or twisted. It is hard to tell when I am half asleep!'' he meowed before yawning. If you want I can go get some poppy seeds to dull the pain and help you get to sleep" BAdgerpaw offerd. Badgerpaw glanced at Cheetahpaw who had fallen asleep not long ago. Badgerpaw slowly got up and licked the apprintice's head before walking over to Creek and checkign her fott over, "It looks like an infection to me..."He said

Badgerpaw purred happily, he loved being complimented. Badgerpaw pressed the pelt agent's Creek, in a way of saying thank you. Before walking back to his nest and falling alseep.
