creek woke up from the sun shining in her eyes. she brushed up against badgerpaw. she softly spoke to badgerpaw, " i need new bandages for my shoulder".

Badgerpaw stared at Creek, he flicked his tail and got some more cobweb for her sholder. "The ways of Starclan tell me I can not have a mate. I am a medicine cat" he stated a bit coldly. He turned away from Creek and sat down,"I would be breaking the warrior code if I loved you" he spat. |

Badgerpaw flicked his tail,"It is fine" he said occwerdly he slowly trotted to his nest and looked around the den. Badgerpaw closed his eyes firmly and then tried to pretend he didn't hear what he just herd about love. Suddenly something hit Badgerpaw. Badgerpaw quickly opened his eyes and glanced around, "Were is Cheetahpaw?" he asked. |

Cheetahpaw walked back into the den, three mice in her jaws. She was trying to stay low and quiet. But both Creek and Badgerpaw were up, so she was definately caught. Cheetahpaw gave each of them a mouse and then laid down with her own mouse.
"What's going on?" She asked after taking a bite of the mouse.

Cheetahpaw's neck fur rose and she let out an angry snarl.
"FYI, I wasn't listening to your conversation! I just got in!" She hissed. Cheetahpaw's eyes held anger. When Creek apologized they softened and she mewed "It's ok... I guess. Are you gonna eat your mouse?" She indicated the mouse she brought for Creek. Something lingered in the back of her mind though. Why was Creek so angry?

Cheetahpaw narrowed her eyes. No, it was something. Creek wouldn't have snapped like that if it was nothing.
"Are you lying yo me?" She asked. There was no anger in her voice. Her voice had wisdom in it, far beyond her. It was as if she wasn't Cheetahpaw anymore.
