Making Friends

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw looked around the camp. Again, she was bored. Her dark tawny fur with black spots gleamed beautifully in the sunlight. She sighed. Well, maybe someone would come over to her and talk.

creek walked over to a young apprentice. "hi" "do you want to go hunting Cheetahpaw"? it is a great day out thought creek.

Cheetahpaw nodded enthusiastically and stood up. Her long tail lashed back and forth excitedly.

"Sure Creek" Cheetahpaw mewed. She looked out the entrance of the camp and started walking toward it.

creek trotted up to cheetahpaw. "want to race?", at that creek streaked out of the camp.

Cheetahpaw dashed forward, catching up to Creek swiftly. Her long legs were a blur. Cheetahpaw's long tail lashed to she could keep her blance. She passed Creek a moment later, then stopped, hearing a rabbit in the distance.

creek padded silently up. hey, look over there creek said. her eyes wide, creek saw 3 full grown badgers eating a small deer. she whispered worriedly,"we have to get back to camp." just then the largest badger swung it's head toward them, " RUN!!!!" screeched creek.

Cheetahpaw started to run when she heard the roar of a badger. It froze her in fear. She looked back and saw one of them charging for her. Cheetahpaw hissed and bunched her muscles together. She lunged onto the badger's face and clawed its eyes. The badger roared and swung its head. Eventually Cheetahpaw was flung out. They couldn't lead the badgers to camp, so she did the only thing she could think to do.
"Help!" Cheetahpaw yowled as the badger charged again.

creek jumped out of nowhere, she flew on to the badger and slashed it's neck and it quickly sunk to the ground. right after that another badger grabbed her paw and flung her to the ground. struggling to keep awake creek watched cheetahpaw. she hoped cheetahpaw would be alright and blacked out.

Cheetahpaw couldn't take on two badgers alone, but she couldn't leacve Creek. Was this the end? She staggered to her feet, anger in her amber eyes. She had to try to fight. She unsheathed her long claws and let out a feral snarl. The first badger charged for her. Cheetahpaw dodged out of the way. The badger whirled around and lunged for her. This time it got her. The badger swung its long claw and flung Cheetahpaw. Cheetahpaw heard her bone crack as she hit the ground. Oh no... she thought.

what's going on creek thought, she saw a starry cat pad up to her." creek get up, cheetahpaw is young but she might join star clan today if you don't help her now. the starry cat then drifted away to nothing. creek bolted awake, seeing cheetahpaw fall and she heard a crack. anger swelled inside her and she killed the small badger then took on the one that hurt cheetahpaw. "you die" it growled. creek lost it and slashed the badger and watched it die, mocking it's own words." we need to get you to the medicine cat's den...Now!" said creek to cheetahpaw and carried the apprentice to the windclan camp.

Cheetahpaw smiled weakly and allowed herself to be carried back to camp.
