Meadowflower walked over to the fresh kill pile. She was hungry, and had just just done hunting, on hunting patrol with Stonepelt. She was back. She moved her tail, the fresh kill pile got bigger as Meadowflower added a feild mouse and large prarie dog, she went down, and picked herself out a small vole. She went over and took to a group of warriors. "May I join ya'll?" Meadowflower had a country ascent. She got made fun of a lot because of it, but she ignored everyone. Her black and white pelt layed down flat on her skin. She wasn't embarresed, but instead grinned and waited for the group to allow her to join in on their conversation. //Anyone may join//

((well I hope we can still post here))
A tan colored she cat walked into the clearing carrying a feild mouse and small rabbit. Walking overe to the fresh kill pile she droped her catch into the growing pile. Taking the mouse for herself she glanced around, once towards the group and then towards and empty side of the camp. She chose the group, turning her head to the group she walked over. She said a muffled hello blocked by the mouse. Droping the mouse at her feet she looked at Meadowflower, May I join you? she asked kindly. She was an orfan(sp?) and didn't really fit into windlcans group here. Hoping to make a new friend she rested her soft gaze onto Meadowflowers pelt waiting for an answer.

//Yes, of course!// [glow=purple,2,300]Meadowflower looked up. She then walked away from the group of cats who seemed to ignore her, and nodded at the tan pelted cat with a sweet smile. "Of course! You just sit youself right down here!" She sat down, and looked at the cat. She didn't seem to familar to Meadowflower, and so the splotched maine coon felt the warmness in her heart as she looked up at the unfamilar cat in hopes of making a new friend. Meadowflower had really never had a best friend, and had always wanted one. She flicked her thick tail as she took a small bite waiting for the ginger cat to respond.[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300] Windclaw smiled, she had gone through several friends, whom were her friends but have dissapeared. She bent her head down and picked up her feild mouse and walked over to Meadowflower and layed down. She curled her long tail around her paws and looked in Meadowflowers direction, and then at her. I'm Windclaw, I haven't really seen you around camp, are you new? she asked politly hoping to start a friendly conversation. Then she bent her head down and took a bite of her food. After that she turned her blue gaze back to teh other she-cat.[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]Meadowflower shook her head. "No... I have been here long enough to train a apprentice..." She mewed sadly shaking her head. Her apprentice, Blackgrass had died, in a unfornet event. After that, Meadowflower really never really trusted anyone. But this cat, Windclaw, was going to be a friend. Meadow could feel it.[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300] Oh sorry about that, I kninda been distracted lately. she said as she looked down at her fresh kill. She should have noticed this cat, she felt really bad that she didn't. But pushing that thought aside she took another bite.[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]Wndclaw seemed really nice. "Thank you." She mewed, and took another but of her delicous vole. Her small and skinny pupils followed Windclaw's reply. She didn't shoot Meadow down like the others. Telling her how it her fault that Blackgrass died.[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300]I'm sorry that your apprentice died, I was the Mentor of some Stelth I think it was, apprentices. I haven't heard from any of them since. After that she finished her mouse and shifted to push the bones a little ways away to make room for her to scoot over so she could get a better view of her new friend. [/glow][/center]

[glow=purple,3,300]Meadowflower nodded. 'This cat knows how I feel.' She mewed. She then looked over at her friend, light brown fur, and dark blue eyes. Kind of pretty, but Meadowflower didn't give a two mouse tail about that. It was about there personality. "Yes. I do know how ya' feel. 'Specially since mine can't talk to mine anymore." She joked, although it was hard to say something, her yellow eyes teared up slowly, but she avoided the feeling, of wanting to cry it out, scream it out, take it out. She knew she couldn't. Meadow just avoided the blue eyed girl and acted enterrested in her meal, taking another bite out of the delicous light brown vole, the fresh blood soaked in through her mouth and slipped down her throat slowly. She savored each and every bite of the redish meat or the vole. The fur was definatly the worst part, and so she ate the meat first. As she hit the bone around the sixth bite, she pulled the white bone out of the meat.[/glow]

[glow=purple,4,300]The maine coon agreed instantly, "Yes... let's do." She nodded and began to think of something to say. "Sorry if this sounds personal..." she mewed, "But do ya'll have a mate or someone special?" She winked as she spoke in her soft voice that was really actully revealing.[/glow] //Sorry, short post//

[glow=purple,2,300]Meadow shook her thick haired head. "No... tell you the truth I really have never let anyone close." She mewed softly. She really never regretted not letting anyone close, but the only thing she ahted about it was that she really had never had any friends... but otherwise, no one could betray her or leave her like Blackgrass did. Blackgrass had gotten really close to Meadowflower, and maybe a little to close.[/glow]

OOC: Frostpaw just has to interupt. ^-^
BIC:
The creamy maine coon blinked the sleep out of her eyes. Her stomach rumbled, reminding Frostpaw of a monster of a Thunderpath. With a small smile she headed to the fresh-kill pile, expecting no one else to be awake. Of course, she was wrong. Two warriors--one of which was Windclaw--were sitting there, talking. With a mrrow of laughter she bounded up.
"Heya, Windclaw!" she mewed. She was no longer a small, new apprentice; she had grown bigger, and stronger, but still a sleek WindClan cat. She expected to be a warrior soon, if Wingstar agreed.

[glow=purple,4,300]Meadowflower looked at the new cat. She seemed to know Windclaw, but still, Meadow didn'e feel comfotable. she ducked her yellow eyes down on her light colored vole and, her white and brown fur pricked up on her neck. She didn't want to look nervous, but she did! She looked as nervous as a cat crossing the thunderpath! She took a little bite of the lleft over fur, and the bits of the left over bloody meat stuck to the white and redish bones. The small amount of food left over went into Meadow's mouth. She wasn't hunry at all after that meal, but she decided to stay out with her friend and the new creamy birman (?).[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300]Windclaw nodded when Meadowflower answered her. Hearing her name her ears perked and she looked towards the voice. Hey Frostpaw she said with a smile as her friend approached. She then looked back to Meadowflower. you ok? she asked. [/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300]This is Meadowflower. she said simply. There wasn't exactly a long answer to this one, but if there was an answer it was that. She then sat up and curled her tan tail around her small paws. She licked her right paw and drew it over her right ear, her icy eyes were closed.[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]Meadowflower looked up at the apprentice. She was big enough to be a warrior and she guessed Wingstar would soon make her one once she visited StarClan. With low laying eyes, and a tail that just drooped, the she-cat mewed a couple simple words, "Ahhh no, hon, the pleasures all mine!" It wasn't the truth, Meadow was not at all excited about meeting another friend of Windclaw. It only brought up one subject in her mind, envy. Envy was a terrible thing to feel, but Meadowflower was burning with it. It was impossible to tell that Meadowflower was jeaulos of the closer friend of Windclaw. But of course, the cat seemed very poliet, and maybe, just maybe, Meadowflower could break her record of friends, and make two friends all in the same day.[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300] Her eyes flickered between the two, it looked as if Meadowflower was....slightly bothered. She said nothing though simply because she couln't tell. Her eyes flickered to Frostpaw and she asekd So, what have you been up to? nothing bad I hope she smiled. [/glow]

Frostpaw stuck her tongue out playfully. "You know me too well, Windclaw!" she laughed. "I've only been training, solo style." She bit back her retort to Meadowflower and instead took a bite out of a mouse she pulled towards her.

"Well, ever since Silverstar died, the old plan did, too," explained Frostpaw. She thought she didn't need a mentor, she was almost a warrior for pete's sake! But she wouldn't tell Windclaw that. "I dunno if Wingstar'll go with that plan or go back to the traditional way."

[glow=purple,2,300]With a cracked smile, the she-cat joined in shyly in the conversation. "I hope to get another apprenice, but of course, it seems that WindClan could surely use some more apprentices, not to mention just plain old cats." Her fluffy ginger tail swiped through the air as if tryin to kill a fly, or capture it in her fur, for it would drown in her fur. Smiling, her pearly white teeth showed in her rather big grin. "So who was your mentor, Frostpaw?" Meadowflower asked acting very interested in the question, and finding the answer, although she wasn't exactly.[/glow]

[glow=brown,2,300] Windclaw nodded, I honestly wonder if we are going to continue with that plan or go to what the other clans are doing she mewed. Her eyes flickered between the two cats then to the camp. The camp would be diffrent with Silverstar gone, and the training might be diffrent too.[/glow]

[glow=purple,3,300]Meadowflower began to feel comfortable with the two cats, Frostpaw, and Windclaw. Her fluffed out tail began to smooth out along with the hairs on her shoulders and neck that were starting to flatten as she began talking again, "So... are you, Frostpaw, close to becoming a warrior?" Her voice was thin, cause she remembered asking the same question, only to her old apprentice, Blackgrass. He was always excited about becoming a warrior, and only one, one moon after becoming a WindClan warrior, he died, so quickly, and Meadowflower hadn't had a apprentice since Blackgrass. Silverstar hadn't put her in charge of a group either, so it was sort of hard not to think about Blackgrass as often as she did.[/glow]

"It's Wigstar's decision." Frostpaw nodded to Meadowflower. She liked this she-cat, and didn't know why she hadn't before. "Almost," she answered. "Wingstar should make me one soon. I hope." She added those last two words as an afterthought. She did, dearly, she was definately old enough. And so was Winterpaw.
Winterpaw.
Her brother, she hadn't seen him in so long! She had always been bigger than him, stronger than him. But he had become more distant as time went on, and she missed the old Winterpaw. The happy Winterpaw.

[glow=brown,2,300] Windclaw nodded you've been an apprentice for awhile I think, lets just hope Wingstar settles down fine as the new leader. she said quietly. She glanced between the two cats, her apprentice and new friend. New leader poor Silverstar, Windclaw haden't been there because she was doing other things. But she thought she should have been there, darn.[/glow]
