[Burningwing]

Over the plains a lean silhouette stalked, ears pricked warily upon it head, lone tail lashing behind, stirring up minuscule dust particles. The cats smoky calico fur faintly reflected the bright rays of sun darting from the sky, but her multi-coloured eyes shadowed over with doubt and confusion. Although the wide spacing plains were nothing new to her, many new trees and shrubs had sprouted since she had first walked among the hills, the crab grass tickling her stomach the neck bent low to the ground as she cautiously sniffed the air for a patrol. Waving her tail as a flag, she darted forward, whipping her neck around to make sure two kits followed her. One darted forward, long lanky legs that dated back to his WC father clearly made for this kind of environment, however used he was to TC. The queen lifted her eyes above the horizon as she waited for a small grey dappled kit to emerge from the tall weeds.

Scorchingkit crouched beside his mother, ears flattened against his head as he waited for Eclipsekit. Her sister was moving to Windclan, and the least he could do was venture out with her, no matter how Burningwing objected to the small fire patterned tom. " C'mon Eclipse!" He whispered into the shadows as he waited for his petite sister to follow.

Eclipsekit felt exitment fill her body as she quickly bounded over to her brother. "I can't wait" she whisperd. She felt a bit sad that she would be leaving Thunderclan for ever- it made her even sadder to think about what would happen to her friends. Yet the thought of a new start made her to happy to be home sick. Eclipsekit stared up at her calico mother. She was always so pretty, she was someone Eclipsekit looked up to. She would miss her mother the most of all.

Burningwing glance back at her daughter, her face bright with excitement. She could only wish she could share it. She would miss her daughter, her neat, gentle, king daughter, who was much less rowdy then her brothers. A sigh escaped her lips and she reached down to lap Eclipsekit's forehead, leaving a sticky spike of fur. Looking the small she-cat over, she still noted how Eclipsekit's small ringlets of silver fur shone in the sunlight. She was small and sure, she would fit into Windclan perfectly. Her fur was slightly longer then the rest of her siblings, and her light white and grey pelt would blend into the wind swept moors supremely. It was like she was built perfectly for Windclan. " Now, remember you manners Eclipsekit, and don't let any of those other cats bother you."

Scorchingkit leaned forward to gingerly touch noses with his sister. The icy shock of the could wet leather shot up his legs, but it hardly compared to the yearning in his heart. " m' gonna miss you." He mewed, glancing at his large paws, creamy yellow in colour.

Eclipsekit looked down at her paws, she felt guilty that she was leaving her family. She barily knew her father- at the moment she couldn't even remember his name. Why was she leaving people that loved her, that cared for her. "I will miss you also scorch". She whisperd to him. Eclipsekit then stared up at her beautiful mother, "Mommy- what if they don't accept me... will I be able to come back to Thunderclan?". Eclipsekit wanted to go to Windclan- but she also wanted a place to run away to if things didn't turn out right

Burningwing flexed her claws, an old flash of her past personality slipping through. " If they don't I'll shred their fur!" She hissed, eyes narrowing to slits, the faint glow of her blue eye growing stronger and darker. The wind tugged at her calico pelt, and she cleared her throat. " I mean, of course you can come back to us Eclipsekit! But don't worry," Burnginwing wrapped her tail around her daughter. " Demonheart will keep care of you. He may seem harsh at first, but don't mind it." A deep purr rumbled in her throat as she fondly looked over her kits. The last time she had seen Demonheart was when their kits were only young, so they wouldn't quite remember him.

Scorchingkit purred, butting his sister with his head. His orange tainted pelt glowed in the bright sun, like fire compared to a piece of silver.

Eclipsekit purred softly, then something made her stop and think. "This is the last time I am going to see you.. isn't it" her voice was bold. Something that Eclipsekit wasn't- bold. Yet she knew that she would walk the rest the way to Windclan. No one would help her, save her- she was truly by herself. Eclipsekit's dappled pelt seemed to be no protection agents the harsh winds. Winter always came sooner to Windclan and she could tell by how the wind blew threw her pelt and scrapping agents her flank. Eclipsekit shiverd alittle.
