Meer rolled her eye again. Badgerpaw had to be acting like a major suck up on purpose.
"Well, cats like me, I just don't like them. Besides, who would like me anyways? I'm just an ugly disabled freakishly malformed insane cat" She mewed, sadness edging into her voice.

Meer just shrugged. "My looks mean nothin to me, as you can see." Meer gestured with her tail at her mud caked body, and blood stained paws. "Besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To you, I could be ugly as a fox, and then to Cinderwing, I could be as beautiful as the stars"

Badgerpaw laughed ((for the 1000000000 time)) his black and white fur shimmering like the stars above,"I guss you are right- Like me.I look like a badger and scare little kits when i chek up on them...." BAdgerpaw said softly.Badgerpaw stood up to stretch "Meer, you know it is unhealthy to keep you fur is such a mess!! and I would know I am a medicine cat!!"Badgerpaw wa ted to change the subject to get Meer's mind off of her depression and he hoped helping her clean her fur would help. |

Meer looked at her pelt closer. "Yeah maybe you're right..." Then she looked at Badgerpaw. "How could you scare kits? Heck, I doubt you could scare a flea!" She laughed. Of course, she meant no harm by it, it just... Slipped.

Mer smiled half heartedly. "We're not cruel, we're honest. I meant no harm by it, I just don't think you could really scare a kit unless that kit is visually impaired or something." Meer said. "I mean, you only have the colouring of a badger, it's not liek you are one" Meer stated.

Meer lifted a corner of her mouth. Draiwng her tongue over her lips, she got up and rubbed her cheek against Badgerpaw's for a moment and then sat back down. "Thanks, lil bro" She laughed.
