As Shadowstone walked freely along the boarder,he sensed another cat "ThunderClan!"He said alertly.Then he saw the ThuderClan cat called Burnningpelt.She was Shadowstone's arch enemy.Quickly,he ran in front of her and said with a hiss"What are you doing here you piece of foxdung!"

Burningpelt wasn't shure why she was in Windclan territory, she had felt as if somthing had been calling her. Before she could ponder any further a Windclan cat, one she recognized as Shadowstone, her enemy, ran straight in front of her.With a hiss he said"What are you doing here you piece of foxdung?!" Burningpelt arched her back, her neckfur rising, her heart beating fast. " I myself know not why I am here, but I don't need interferance with a stupid piece of crowfood like you!" she hissed back.

"CROWFOOD!!!"hissed Shadowstone."I'm going to kill you for killing my daughter!!"Then Shadowstone hurled himself at Burningpelt.He hit her so hard that she got slammed aginst a tree.

Pain lanced through Burningpelt as her back slammed against the tree. For a split second she couldn't move but her vision returned in time to see Shadowstone leaping twords her. Burningpelt twisted her body and lept just in time to see Shadowstone skidd to a stop and whip arround to face her.

Burningpelt didn't anserw she just tried to keep her focus on the enemy. Burningpelt felt a sudden unease, she tensed.
she saw everything around her. A bug crawling two tail-lenghts away from Shadowstone, a leaf slowly floating down from the sky, and something else something she couldn't seem to see. But it was there........

Burningpelt didn't reply. She looked steadily into Shadowstones gaze. Burningpelt suddenly, lept onto Shadowstones back clawing and bitting.

Shadowstone threw her off easily."Oh your in for it!!"hissed Shadowstone.His fur started getting red streaks in it. His eyes turned completely red.He ran at Burningpet so fast that she didn't have enough time to react.He scored a devistating blow to her face.

Pain.....nothing but pain tore through Burningpelts body she was thrown backwards and rolled a few times....(not good) she thought to herself as she struggled to ge up. Shadowstone rushed at her once more but Burningpelt found enough energy to scramble out of the way. She hissed, blood pouring down her face. Burningpelt took a quick mental glance at herself. She could barely see out of one eye, but the other one was okay her nose was torn and stung feircely. Ignoring the pain Burningpelt lept at Shadowstone, but instead of going straight at him she dodged to the left than sprang up and clawed his shoulder.................

Shadowstone felt the claw in his shoulder but only laughed.Then he scored another scratch but this time it was her side that he mutalated.

Another powerfull blow sent Burningpelt flying backward. (now it really feels like my pelt is on fire) Burningpelt thought.Struggling back up on her feet, her chest heaving, Burningpelt looked straight into her enemeys eye. (not enough, what will it take? what will it take to bring him down?...) Burningpelt bearly dodged another attack from Shadowstone, as shadowstone was getting ready for yet another attack,Burningpelt leaped.She dug her teeth deep into his neck.

Burningpelt didn't anserw she couldn't after Shadowstone had flung her of of him, it was as if he took her speech,her breath, and her soul. (can't keep this..... up..... just one more chance) Burningpelt thought. Finding what was probably her last bit of reserved energy, she snapped her head at Shadowstones neck, she felt her fangs penetrate deep into flesh and fur, his warm blood trickled into her mouth. Shadowstone tried to get her off but Burningpelt only held on tighter. (can't.......) she thought weakly..................

Then Shadowstone used all of his energy,and struck Burningpelt across the face again.This time she didn't move.She was out cold."I...got...to..get back to...Sunset."Shadowstone could barely walk.Then he fell to the ground,bleeding badly."No Starclan....not now...I must see Sunset one more time..."His voice trailed away as he blacked out.

Burningpelt awoke pain racked her body as she lifted her head, night had fallen and the forest was earily calm. struggling Burningpelt managed to get to her paws. (its a good thing that a Windclan patroal didn't come by...) she thought She glanced over to wear Shadowstone layed, she wasn't sure if he was there or not
she couldn't see out of her left eye and her right eye was blurry.
limping she turned away and hurried into the forest and rest till the next day when she would make her way back to Thunderclan.

Shadowstone was in a sun glazed forest,but he could feel no heat from the sun.He realized that he must be in a dream.Then he saw Sunset,his beloved walk in front of him.Just then his cursed side appeared beside her.Sunset disappeared and all he heard was her shreek of terror.She reappeared again,but this time her body was limp and his dark half was standing over her,with blood in his mouth,Sunset's blood.
He awoke to find him self under a bush.What did his dream mean?
