Badgerpaw sat still on a dark cold rock, it was Badgerpaw's favorite place to think because of it's warmth and comfort.The rock was a brilliant silver and was coved with frost.Most days Badgerpaw loved to feel of the rock like it was renewing his energy, yet today it felt cold and unsteady.Just like Badgerpaw's mind was.
"the mind of one's who seek nothing but power is a betrayer, or could it be ignorance that runs threw the mind of the blood thirsty.The dance of life can not be consumed by power, they must know that, then why do they search for it?"
Badgerpaw closed his eyes, he wanted to talk to someone, anyone.Let is be a rouge,a another Windclaner, a kittypet he care not.All his life he wanted someone to talk to and when finely found that one person.He found out her true feeling for him, and had to get away.So now once again he was alone.

Badgerpaw opened his eyes again and sent a quick prayer up to Starclan before shifting were he once sat.Badgerpaw felt the snow black and white pelt sink deep within his pelt and it felt very un comfertable, and so there he waited. |

"Hi" she small mew came from gingerkit, she was staring at the troubled tom, with huge cute eysm "arf ouu otay?" she mewed.

Badgerpaw's tiny eyes glanced down at the small kit.His eyes were filled with awe.She looked just like Goldenpaw.Before Goldenpaw started to lose her golden pelt,yet that didn't surprise him.What really surprised him was that the kit was not afraid of his badger-like appearance.
a kit from were?
Badgerpaw jumped down to were the kit was,"Arn't you a bit young to be travling alone, by the way were did you come from? asked Badgerpaw, "I have never meet you before.Oh, I am doing ...ok I guss" Badgerpaw didn't want to bore the kit with his never ending complaining so he disided to avoid any subjects that might bring his talkative side out.

"I'm feathertail's kit, my mommy in the nursery in riverclan wif me sisty's" she mewed and rubbed her orange tabby fur on the black and white tom, she gave tiny little mews of excitment, "I'm a big kit now" she mewed while tripping over her own tail. "I'm okay, I just gotsa lost, and I came to see gorswin, he my mommy's fwiend, can you hewp me find mommy?" she mewed and licked badgerpaw's leg.

Badgerpaw looked down at the kit and for the first time all day, he felt warm."If you promise to visit me sometime I will help you" he meowed happly,"By the way,I am Badgerpaw.Medicine cat apprintice of Windclan"Badgerpaw purred

"Anywho, your mom lives in riverclan, so that is near the waterfalls.Ok i got it, ready to head out?" he asked. |

Demonheart walked up to a badger looking cat. "Hello Badgerpaw" he meowed. Then noticing his face he asked "What happened?" He had a feeling he knew. He had seen this cat looking at Goldenpaw and knew that apparently he had decided his calling was more important.

" Otay I visit you" she purred, and nodded, "I come and see you every time I go, otay buddy" she purred, and was ready for him to pick her up by the scruff, and carry her until she was ready to walk again.

" I weady" she squeaked, and walked forward, her tiny ginger colored paws, shimmered in the white snow, "I wan you to meet mommy, she be happy to see you, she like winclan, she wuves her buddy gorsewin, but mommy and daddy are togeter, I got probems wif sissy, but tat otay, wha you got bad?" gingerkit mewed as she walked under his soft white belly.

Badgerpaw laughed at the kit, she was so cute,she would make a find warrior.The only thing that would get her into troble was her free spirit.
oh well...free spirit is better then not having one at all
Badgerpaw glanced at Demonheart then started to talk;"Well, you see there is thisahe-cat I like, and i found out she like me as in loves me.SOon i relised that I loved her to, more then anything else.Yet I can't love anyone, I am a medicine cat apprintice.So I had to be harsh to her so she wouldn't like me anymore" |

Demonheart was symathetic[sp?]. "Badgerpaw it's ok but a she cat scorned will hate you and probably not be loyal to you in war I suggest you make up with her. You don't nesseseraly have to be mates but occasionally cats break the warrior code. I do believe that Goldenpaw's mother's mother was a med cat and she still went to Starclan."
