Shadowstone and Cheetahpaw walked up to the empty hollow,ready to train.Shadowstone wanted so badly to be Cheetahpaws mentor but that was up to Wingstar.

Cheetahpaw followed Shadowstone eagerly. Her amber eyes shined with excitement. Her cheetah-like pelt glowed in the sunlight.
"So what are we doing first?" She asked, nearly bouncing with excitement.

Shadowstone got into position."First we will try out and see if your ready for any attack at any moment. Never let your guard down."Suddenly Shadowstone shot himself at Cheetahpaw while zig-zagging.

Cheetahpaw was unprepared so Shadowstone easily pinned her to the ground. Her eyes shined with excitement.
"Cool" She mewed "Can I try again? I know I'll get it"

Cheetahpaw was ready this time. She moved out of the way as Shadowstone attacked her. She whirled around and lunged for him, trying to see if she could pin him.

Cheetahpaw raised her head proudly. She really wanted Shadowstone as a mentor. This was getting funner and funner by the second.
"You're a great mentor, Shadowstone" Cheetahpaw mewed "Even if you're not my mentor, you'll make a great mentor to someone else too"

"Ok now, when you are pinned down by an opponent and you want to get up,just wrap your tail around one leg,like so,and then you bite down on his leg and while he is crying in pain,scrape his under belly with your hind claws and then let go and thrust upward.You'll need to do this as quick as possible."Shadowstone explained to the young she cat.

Cheetahpaw also got into a fighting stance, her heart racing. Wingstar had already told her that Creek was gonna mentor her, and she was very happy about that. Creek was one of her best friends. But she would've liked to have Shadowstone as a mentor too, both would've been great.
"Ready" Cheetahpaw purred.

Cheetahpaw replayed the move in her mind quickly, before putting it into action. She wrapped her tail around Shadowstone's leg, then bit down, but not too hard. When she had the chance she scraped her sheathed claws down Shadowstone's underbelly, and waited to see if she did it right.

Once she was done with the move,Shadowstone looked deep into Cheetahpaw's eyes and smiled.He thought he was a good mentor and wanted to be by Cheetahpaw's side when she was announced a warrior but he knew it wouldn't be so.He felt something special for Cheetahpaw.
Shadowstone thought he had a type of father,daughter type of bond with Cheetahpaw."Very good Cheetahpaw.You learn well."Shadowstone got up and turned to Cheetahpaw. "Let's head back to camp and have some nice fresh kill.Would you like that?"Shadowstone asked Cheetahpaw.

Cheetahpaw nodded eagerly and excitedly.
"I'd love that!" Cheetahpaw mewed as she stood up. Her fur ruffled for a moment, trying to get any stray leaves off, before turning to Shadowstone. Her tail lashed eagerly back and forth, and her eyes continued to scan the area.
"Let's go!" She mewed.

Shadowstone walked back with Cheetahpaw to camp.One the way there,Cheetahpaw and Shadowstone caught some fresh kill for there clan.
Once they got there Shadowstone and Cheetahpaw walked over and grabbed their fresh kill.Cheetahpaw grabbed a vole and Shadowstone grabbed two nice looking mice. He then headed toward the nursery.
