charlie walked across the plains of windclan."ouch!"he snarled.he looked at his paw there was a thorn stuck in it.he tried to get it out but he couldn't reach it."stupid thorn"he said to himself.he plopped down on the rough ground in frustration.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

A soft giggle came from inside a bush. A moment later a dark tawny she-cat with black spots and dark amber eyes stepped out, laughter dancing in her eyes.

"Need help?" She purred. Without waiting for a reply she walked over to Charlie and gripped the thorn in her teeth. She pulled it out gently, trying not to cause any pain. Cheetahpaw set the thorn down a few paces away.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

a smile slowly crossed charlie's face."hi"he said to the cheetah-like she-cat.he winced in pain when she pulled the thorn out, then felt much better."thanks"charlie said to cheetahpaw."i was just getting ready to hunt but your luck hunting with my sister i wouldn't feel to good if you got hurt again"charlie said joking.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw purred. Though she sometimes felt awkward around Charlie, right now she was feeling fine. They were talking like friends did. A small smile appeared across her face.

"Well, do you want to hunt together?" She asked. The sun was right above their heads, so they'd have plenty of time to hunt.

"sure"charlie said happily.at that moment he saw a rabbit behind cheetahpaw."just a moment"he said quickly"don't move"at that he leaped right over cheetahpaw towards the rabbit.he sped through the brush. he leaped and killed the rabbit and trotted towards cheetahpaw."does this look yummy or what?"he asked cheetahpaw.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"Definitely(SP?)" Cheetahpaw purred, "But we aren't allowed to eat until the clan is fed" A rustle was heard in the bushes and Cheetahpaw turned around. She crouched low and stalked forward, her eyes keen on the bush. Her body moved gracefully as she neared her target. Without warning Cheetahpaw lunged into the bush. She emerged a moment later with a rabbit in her jaws.

"nice catch that was a quick move"charlie trotted forward. "lets go back to camp and feed the elders and then you wanna share tongues?"charlie asked cheetahpaw."come on you slowpoke!"he said laughing.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"Who you calling a slowpoke?" Cheetahpaw hissed playfully. With a mischevious glint in her eyes she lunged forward, trying to pin Charlie to the ground. The calm plains were now alight with laughter. Cheetahpaw couldn't remember when she had so much fun. Her amber eyes were lit up with joy and playfullness.

charlie dived out of the way and swung his front paws out to try and flip cheetahpaw over"i'm gonna win and you know it"charlie said mockingly.his amber eyes glinted in the sun like pieces of gold.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Sunlight warmed her pelt as Cheetahpaw was flipped over. She landed with a loud thud, and suddenly got an idea. Her body went limp, and her dark amber eyes closed. She decided to see if she could trick Charlie. You couldn't tell she was breathing, and if you were far away you would probably think the young she-cat was dead.

"oh no!"charlie screeched.he knew she was still alive and just tricking her back."cheetahpaw is dead"he screamed.he ran towards cheetahpaw and attacked quickly pinned her to the ground."i know your tricking me" he said playfully still pinning her down.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"How?" She asked opening her eyes. She looked up at Charlie and saw he'd pinned her. Cheetahpaw let out a playful hiss. Her amber eyes glinted playfully as she pushed upward, trying to knock Charlie off her.

((Sorry, I had Writer's Block... again))

"whaaa"charlie screeched as he flew back with amazing power."that was a sweet move cheetahpaw!" he said to his new friend."lets get to the camp and feed the elders they might come out here and find us if they are too hungry!"he said sarcastically.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"Good point" Cheetahpaw purred, "Those elders can get pretty cranky if they dont get their prey"

Just as Cheetahpaw picked up a rabbit she heard a loud crack. Her heart stopped. What was that? Her heatbeat quickened as she looked around. At first she thought she saw a bushy red tail slink into the bushes.

"Charlie..." She whispered pointing with her tail at the bush.

[owly ✿]

"oh no, don't move cheetahpaw, it's a fox."he hissed."lets take it on!"charlie said"we could kill it, you bite the neck and i will take it down so you can kill it.on the count of three1-2-3."

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw nodded. As soon as Charlie said three she sped forward into the bush. She couldn't see through all the leaves, but could easily see the foxes red pelt. She growled and jumped onto it, planning to bite the neck. The fox had other ideas. Since Cheetahpaw didn't have a grip the fox managed to throw her off. Cheetahpaw landed in front of Charlie and immediately got back to her feet. The fox calmly stepped out of the bushes.

"what do we do now!"charlie screeched"it is going to attack!"

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"I-I dont know..." Cheetahpaw mewed. Her mew was pitiful and frightened. Suddenly her eyes turned angry. She let out an angry hiss and lunged for the fox.

charlie attacked too and quickly killed the fox"lets get back to camp!"charlie said and ran towards their camp.(bye cinder)

((Back))

"Ok" Cheetahpaw mewed. She ran after Charlie, her long tail streaming behind her. The sun was lower, and Cheetahpaw realized they forgot the prey. She turned around and grabbed the rabbits before running back.
