Boredly Being Bored

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw wandered around the moors, boredom in her eyes. There was nothing to do around here. Maybe she could explore the Loner Terras sometime. That would be fun. There was nothing exciting on these wide, empty plains. She sighed and laid down. Maybe something would happen... Maybe something exciting, like a sudden storm or something! Right now she just wanted adventure.

Badgerpaw's dark amber eyes stared across the plain of Windclan proudly. Badgerpaw had always loved the thought of Windclan being closest to the stars, it made him feel safe. As Badgerpaw stared at the territory of Windclan he noticed that a small cheetah-like she-cat was wandering around the moors. Badgerpaw was quite surprised at this for he had never seen this cat around Windclan before. Slowly Badgerpaw trotted over to the moors, yet made sure to stay out of sight of the cheetah-like cat.

Who was she?


Badgerpaw slowly stalked his was into a nearby nush, down wind from the she-cat.Badgerpaw slowly raised his hindcorters into a crouching position. He didn't know this cat, but it was better to be safe then sorry. with in the split corse of a second, Badgerpaw had leaped at that she-cat, hoping to pin her to the ground.

Cheetahpaw let out a gasp of surprise as a strange cat pinned her. She hissed. This cat smelled of WindClan. Why was he attacking her? She was in his clan!
"Get off me!" Cheetahpaw growled. She was surprised nothing happened to her very weak bones. She didn't unsheathe her claws though, because if this cat was in her clan, she didn't want to fight him. Her amber eyes were focused in a glare on the cat.

Badgerpaw was confused again, suddenly the her sented the sent of Windclan on this cat."Erg- sorry I thought you were a rouge.I havn't seen you around much....well, I don't know many people is Windclan anyway" Badgerpaw meoed emabressly,"I am very sorry" he said again.


Badgerpaw lood down at his paws, his black and white coat sparkled dully in the sunlight that glimmerd over head.Badgerpaw twitched his whiskers then let out a sight,"So, if you don't mind me askin', who are you?"

Cheetahpaw stood up and shook her pelt, getting the stray grasses off it. Her dark tawny pelt and black spots shined clearly.
"I'm Cheetahpaw" Cheetahpaw mewed "And don't be sorry. I was just made an apprentice very recently" She looked at the tom. She didn't recognize him either. Then again, she barely knew any WindClan cats anyways.
"Now if you dont mind me asking, who are you?" Cheetahpaw asked.

Badgerpaw bent his head in a bowing motion as a formal greeting,"I am Badgerpaw, I come from a long line of Windclaners. I know this sounds nosie, Were you born in Windclan? I am just asking because, well, because I am a nosie person!" the truth was that Badgerpaw hated kittypets with all his heart, he didn't mind loners but for him a perfect clan was a clan of only Windclan desendents.

Cheetahpaw looked at her paws. She wasn't born in WindClan. Would Badgerpaw be mad, or not want to talk to her if she wasn't?
"Um... well, no" She mewed "I was brought here as a kit. By my mother. I used to be a loner, for the first few moons of my life that is. Then my mother just brought me here, saying I would be safer and that there was danger where she was" Cheetahpaw kept her gaze on her paws. She had no clan blood at all. Well, as far as she knew that is.

[badgerpaw]

Badgerpaw looked down at his paws,"Oh- well every clan cat once started as a loner. Even Windstar herself!" he said happily.

Cheetahpaw looked up. Her amber eyes shined with relief.

"That's true" Cheetahpaw purred. She felt a lot better. Being born a loner didn't seem so bad anymore. Cheetahpaw looked at Badgerpaw, eyes filled with joy.

Badgerpaw purred then turned around, "Well if you need me I will be in the medicine cat's den!" he said softly before turned around to walk away.

Cheetahpaw nodded. She looked at the sun as it slowly started to set, casting a pink light over the sky. She started to follow Badgerpaw, but stopped. She laid down under the sunset. It was so peaceful Cheetahpaw could've fallen asleep then and there. But she didn't. Cheetahpaw looked back once more before laying her head on her paws.

[Spook]

Sparrowpaw moved slowly forward, her ginger pelt shining. Her ice blue eyes scanned the moor. She saw Cheetahpaw and decided to introduce herself. "Hello," she said," I'm Sparrowpaw."

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"Hi" Cheetahpaw purred "I'm Cheetahpaw"

Cheetahpaw's tail lashed back and forth in a gentle motion. She yawned tiredly as she looked at the sky. The sun had set, and darkness would soon fall.

[Spook]

"I love evenings on the moor," Sparrowpaw said randomly.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw purred.

"Yeah, I do too. Everything looks so... amazing. You can see the stars so clearly" Cheetahpaw mewed gazing at the stars.

[Spook]

"Stars are so beautiful, especially when they shine so clearly," Sparrowpaw meowed. Her long tail made a swishing sound as it ran through the grasses.

Cheetahpaw nodded. She still couldn't believe she'd lived here for three moons. It wasn't long compared to anyone else, but for awhile she was lonely. Now she was making new friends.

[Spook]

Sparrowpaw looked over at Cheetahpaw. They both could relate to the fact that the were born outside of Windclan. Cheetahpaw had joined soon after Sparrowpaw and now they were getting to be friends. Sparrowpaw thought about her white cat ancestery and shook the thought from her mind. It was still too soon to be thinking about the city of her birth and her cruel upbringing.

"So, tell me about yourself" Cheetahpaw mewed. Her eyes glittered with curiousity.

[Spook]

((sorry bout the short post I have to go))

"Well, lets just say that I came from the city, where I wasn't exactly loved. It's still extremly close,"Sparrowpaw said.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw nodded. A city was like Twolegplace. She'd been there once, before she came to WindClan. It wasn't exactly her favorite place in the world.

[Spook]

Sparrowpaw continued," I guess telling someone would help though." She started her tale from before she was born. "Many seasons ago, long before I was born, there was a group of white cats that decided that they were purer than other colored cats. They went about it so badly that soon there were two entirely different groups, the White Cats and the Colored Cats. Even though every family of cats has thier own territory, there are strict regulations about crossing into the other color's land. Those groups are still at war for more land today. I was born to a White mother in the White Cats, but no one knew who my father was. I presumed he was colored because I was the first colored cat to be born in the White Cats for over 1,000 moons, or so the Elders said. My mother was given permission to keep me until I was old enough to have the sence to hunt for myself. I was the laughingstok of the White Cats. Everyone hated me for my dark ginger pelt. There were times that I though about launching myself off of one of the tall many-twoleg dens and dieing in the street, or Thunderpath as you say here, below. When I was four moons old, the Great Elder's Council of White Cats decided it was time for me to go and midst the pleading cries of my mother I was forced into the Colored Territiories. I was cast by the colored cats into the unknown because I was of White Cat decent. I wandered the hills and forests until turning up here, in Windclan territiory." Sparrowpaw finished, looking back at Cheetahpaw and smiled softly. "So what brings you here to Windclan?" she asked.

Cheetahpaw's eyes held sympathy for Sparrowpaw. It must've been hard living there.

"Well" Cheetahpaw mewed answering Sparrowpaw's question "I was born a loner. My mother was a she-cat called Queen. She always called me Cheetahkit for my pelt. I never knew my father, but my mother was always saying he would bring danger upon us. Maybe that's why she brought me to WindClan. Something my father did got us both into trouble. I guess she was trying to hide me or something. She dropped me off here when I was three moons old"

Cheetahpaw sighed. She always did wonder what her father did to get them into so mcuh trouble.

[Spook]

Sparrowpaw smiled softly at Cheetahpaw. "I chose my own name. When I lived in the city I had no name, they just called me what they felt like at the moment. When I was walking through the forest after my exile, I heard a Sparrow and decided that i would call myself Sparrow. I added the suffix -paw after I was accepted into the clans," She said.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Cheetahpaw smiled at Sparrowpaw.

"My mom called me Cheetahkit because I look and act like a cheetah. I have weak, hollow bones. It makes it easier for me to break one, but I can run really fast." Cheetahpaw yawned tiredly. Sparrowpaw seemed nice. She could tell that they would be friends.

[Spook]

Sparrowpaw stretched and said," that's pretty cool how you have hollow bones, I don't know another cat that has hollow bones." She could tell that Cheetahpaw and her could be great friends.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"It is pretty cool I guess, but very dangerous. It's very easy to break a bone" Cheetahpaw mewed.

"So do you have a mentor?" Cheetahpaw asked curiously.

[Spook]

"No, not yet, only I wish I had one,"Sparrowpaw responded.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

"Same here" Cheetahpaw mewed "I hope I get one soon" Cheetahpaw yawned again then laid down. She decided to groom her fur.
