A small gold she cat kit walked onto the snow covered plains. The wind nearly knocked her over and threw snow and ice into her face. She was so light the snow did not collapse beneath her. She stared at the darkened sky. She knew that on a night like this her mother had died. She walked to the spot that she was drawn to. Her mother here had died. Her poor beautiful mother who had made a mistake. She had broken so many rules and was never found out. When she was found out she was already dead. "Oh mother" she called softly out into the freezing wind. The wind whipped her words back at her before they were lost in the distance. Dark threatning clouds loomed above her. For a moment she felt another cat standing right beside her but then it was gone. She thought she had imagined it. Then a sweet beautiful voice rang out through the air. She felt herself getting drowsy but she shook herself awake. She was waiting. Waiting for something to happen.

[glow=orange,2,300]Lynxkit walked slowly, out into the plains, she was awaken from her sleep, by a starry cat, she smelled sweetly from yarrow, and her eyes glowed with warmth, of ocean blue. Lynxkit saw another figure out into the plains, she ran against the wind after the cat like figure, she ran and ran, her heart leaping as it was another kit, older than her, but at the same time look the same age. she brushed up against the kit, and looked at her, "Hello" she whispered, she had a very gentle voice, very kind, and sweet, it was like a rainy sunday morning, where everything was calm and silent.[/glow] Frostfur climbed up the hill following her little daughter, leaving her two other kits with her best friend, she felt the small kits emotions as she reached her, she looked down, and saw it was drizzlekit. |

"Hello" meowed Drizzlekit. "Are you Lynxkit?" she asked. She wanted to know. Lynxkit was supposed to be a good friend to her. Then she looked at the queen. "Are you Frostfur? Can you tell me about my mother?"

[glow=orange,2,300]Lynxkit smiled, "yep, I'm the all great lynxkit..." she trailed off and then whispered, "How did you know my name" she questioned looking at her with a sweet smile.[/glow] Frostfur let out a purr, "Yes I'm frostfur, I came looking for you" she meowed. She looked at the dark sky, and felt the ice cold air, hit her pelt, she opened her mouth, and let out the hot air in her mouth. The steam rose, and turned into three small kits, small and beautiful. |

"My mom told me" meowed Drizzlekit. "Her name is Goldenpaw. Frostfur what was my mom like what did she do. How do you know her?"

"I met your mother, when I was very sick, and small, and she was having many troubling times in her life, but we would meet at the edge of windclan, and create our own clan..." she trailed off as she hled back to sweet salty tears, "She meant alot to most cats, I know, and you mother, was one of the first sweetest cats that saw that I wasn't weak and walking bones, but something else...a true friend" she meowed, she looked at the sky again remembering the sweet memories goldenpaw and her shared, and still share, but only in dreams, dreams of sorrow, and hope to see each other again. "Goldenpaw, was very nice, and strong herated, never jealous, and never harsh with life...she took life as if it was her last days, always adventorous, and spending her days, with cats that where so awful, and hard that it was amazing that it happened" she whispered, as she looked at the look alike kit, "Drizzlekit, I want you to know, that you are welcome in thunderclan, to come visit lynxkit and I, we are like her family, always going to be there for you" she mewed, and smiled at drizzlekit, as she wrapped her fluffy tail around the kit.

"Oh thanks Frostfur. I just miss her I don't know why she left oh I wish she would come back. I mean she is here but she can't touch me. It just isn't the same" meowed Drizzlekit. The tail around her was comforting. "Show me where you met."

"It's really hard for, someone that was just brought into the world, have one of their parents pass away, just like that...but your mother would never want to leave you, she loves you a whole bunch" she meowed,as seh licked drizzlekit. "Come on... I'll show you the place that your mother, and I met" she meowed, and began to get up.
