A lone cat who's pelt had once been gold but was now dark red and streaked with blood walked the plains. She was thinking about her lost love with Badgerpaw. "How could I have been so stupid?" she wondered.

Badgerpaw black and white fur shimmerd with snow as he walked along the cold Windclans lands.He had been thinking about the battle the was held in the kittypet lands, it was a dreadful battle in dead and he receved many wounds.Badgerpaw had alread cleaned his wounds and had placed cobwebs on the deeper scratches, yet there was something that he couldn't heal.His heart.
Badgerpaw and Goldenpaw had gotten in a huge fight back at the kittypets lands andsomething a loner said burned at his heart even more.

Badgerpaw sighed sadly, the londer was right.His clans needed him more the Goldenpaw did, plus she was part ofthe Loners plans for who knows what.SUddenly the beauftiful ent of Goldenpaw filled the air.Badgerpaw hissed deep with in his throat, he would figure out what Goldenpaw was doing with the rouge if it was the last thing he did.
Badgerpaw rushed to were Goldenpaw was, his eyes glaring at Goldenpaw yet his heart loving her."Goldenpaw, tell me why you were with Meer! Why did you betray me and you whole clan! Tell me now" he caterwailed. |

Goldenpaw didn't know what to say so she told him the truth. "Meer and Splinter killed my sister Angelheart. I was driven insane and in my insanity I agreed to spy on Windclan. I was going to help kill you but I was rescued from my insanity when I saw you. I wasn't going to tell you that was why I wanted us to leave so you didn't find out. But you did and you hate me. Badgerpaw I don't care what Meer says we were meant to be together. You are the only one who understands me." Badgerpaw loomed over Goldenpaw who was pretty tall herself. She took confort in knowing he was there.

Badgerpaw's eyes soften yet not enough to show that he approved of what she said,"You sould have never agreed tospy on Windclan, Starclan knows everything that you have done and if you do follow Meer's ways you will never know what STarclan is like" hissed Badgerpaw.
and if I love you I will never know what Starclan is like eather
Badgerpaw shock his head,"No, Meer was right.I am a medicine cat apprintice and iwill never be there for you as much as a regular tom would.Plus I must serve me clan, not just you" his words were harsh,"We are close friends, but nothing more" |

Goldenpaw sighed then she couldn't take it anymore. She lay down and sobbed. "I wish Rouge had finished me off when I knew you still love me" she gasped through sobs. Her body trembled her ears lay against her head. She no longer looked like Goldenpaw but someone entirly different. She looked like Angelheart had in her last few minutes.

Meer had followed Goldenpaw, she had made a promise to fix this. Meer was heartless, soulless, and evil, but she didn't like to see havoc within her family, even if she killed her own. In er eyes, it was easier to leave someone who was dead, then to leave someone you could have gone back to.
Meer stepped in pawprints in the snow, because hse couldn't scent the air, due to her evil brothers and sisters. She followed them and came to a halt. She saw Goldenpaw and Badgerpaw togeher. Meer so desperatly wanted to make this right. No idea why though, she just did.

Badgerpaw felt his heart beat wth her's,"Goldenpaw, youdon't understand I love you more the you will ever know, yet I don't want your life to be any worst and with me around it seemed to hurt you moret hen ever" Badgerpaw meowed soflty,"I can't take you being hurt just because of me.It willbe better for both of us if we stay friends" he whisperd.
why Starclan ,WHY!!!
Badgerpaw closed his eyes and lisened to te sobbing that crushed his heart again and again."Please, you are a beautifulcat someone will replace me eaisly once you are a warrior and looking for a mate" |

"No Badgerpaw. No one can replace you a broken heart can not be repaired in anyway shape or form. I will not have kits or have a mate unless with you Badgerpaw. When I am a warrior I will prey to starclan everyday and ask them if we may have kits. Which is more important Badgerpaw loyalty to the clan or loyalty to love? I knew med cats who loved and had kits and went to Starclan."

Badgerpaw stared at Goldenpaw and for the first time smiled,he was happy though he didn't know why.He couldn't controlhow happy Goldenpaw made him,everyday just seeing her made it wonderful."It's your life, do what you want to" he mrrowed softly.

Badgerpaw didn't notice that Meer was in the smae clearing as they were so he didn't really care who herd."All you need to knowis that, I love my clan.So what dose that make me? To I betray my love for the clanor my love to you?" |

I will not cry I will not cry she thought. She cried tears ran down her pelt on to the ground making puddles. She got up and walked to riverclan border she wanted to see her sister.
